Life Drain doesn’t strike me as the type of ability that would have a damage type associated with it. You’re not even damaging the enemy per se, you’re draining them of essence which causes harmful effects to them as a consequence. I think just not having it able to be used on corpses would be enough of a change. I don’t think the scaling needs to be changed either because realistically not many people will take advantage of the fact it’s a 1:1 return on will. If they do they’ll have the same weakness associated with luminary builds that have the exact same strategy of stacking will.
