Fungus bark and moldy chapter will always confuse you if you're already poisoned. And they stack. Just bring two fungal items, which can fit into literally any equip slot. Neatly, in fact. Without sacrificing much of anything.
Moldy chapter on the tome you were already going to use, (Or Fungus bark on the stave you were already going to use.) fungal bark on the indignant idol you were already going to use. . .
Or Flower wreathed tunic.
Or flower wreathed shoes.
Or Protective paper charm.
Every equipment slot can give you fungus, and you only need two to guarantee a self confuse.

Its genuinely not okay and really needs to be fixed now before the war starts in full. The nutty shit you can do is genuinely insane.
