I wasn't saying people don't use it responsibly most of the time. I was just saying it would change as a side effect of putting an active restriction in place. Honestly, I'd like to think that community pressure would be moderation enough, even without GM involvement. (Keyword: I'd LIKE to think it. Doesn't exactly make it the definitive case.)

What I'm getting at is, a restriction like that would probably make Dev feel a bit better about the idea in the first place. Trust me, I get what you mean, and I AM supporting your idea. But let's face it; it's Dev's game to make, so it's less about what we feel and more about what Dev is willing to do. And if Dev's given reason for not doing something could be addressed, I'll throw out a suggestion. All there is to it.
