And I wouldn't so you should make your own thread.

But in the end, you are not the determined factor whether this is implemented with or without working on axes, thus, either way, I am going to be here and voice my firm opinion that due to this being a class that is largely focused on axes, does not have polearms as a class weapon, and the current state of axe skills in general, that this should apply to axes as well so Dev can consider it, should this ever be implemented.

I declined about 2-3 times now I lost count honestly. How am I not the determined factor? It's my idea lol???????? Like I said if you want an axe skill make your own and suggest it. This is for swords and polearms.

You guys are talking in circles here, simply agree to disagree and move on.

"PantherPrincess" Wrote:I'm basing this off of the multiple arena spars I've witnessed including my own and how a majority of the server is vampires but ok lol. As a ghost why would you want to heal and backtrack rising game/ether invitation??? 2 rounds of interference is hardly groundbreaking there are worse skills in-game currently and five buffs? I'm pretty sure they're considered debuffs and you're reaching quite a far distance with that statement. Only the range and the hit bonus is a buff. Fear and hesitation can hardly be considered a buff and I think interference aka anti healing fits quite perfectly on a class thats written with death all over it. Are you saying then Black Bolt and Sonic Shell or Interference shell isn't balanced as well? because they quite literally trail along the same lines. You're sacrificing 10% of your HP to basic attack people and if these people are BK's or Hexers or Boxers or just plain old super evade stackers, its useless. If not there are tons of ways to avoid it. (null shell, wash away, gentle embers, steal, cobra, steel aura, geist, negotiate, requinite, and so on). A skill like this would easily be dropped by a simple cleanse potion. Not the majority of the server is a Vampire when there's 32 other races to choose in the entire game. Vampires are popular and always been since I played this game, but they don't compose not even half of the playerbase so far. As for the skill, those being buffs or debuffs it doesn't matter, since it'll be aiding you and provoking some sort of disadvantage towards your opponent. No skill for 3M gives you a total of 40 hit, 5 range, Fear, Hesitation and Interference for 10%. Ghosts aren't all about 'dropping my HP and never regaining again', hence why Rebound exists. One proof of a skill that costs HP percentage and doesn't provide such amounts of steroids like this one is Painproof, that gives you DEF/RES for a higher cost. Also, arguing that "oh, but X and Y aren't balanced as well?" doesn't help your case. Black Bolt requires a nifty FP cost and Void Energy, while Interference Shell comes with a class that's made to be a major disabler, thing that Ghost isn't. It also requires a 'powering up of sort'. So yeah, my opinion about this skill remains the same and will continue that way, that Ghosts doesn't require this but an upgrade to existant skills, or rather, wait until a 'Ghost Rework Update' arrives just like VA/Tactician/GS had.

A suggestions vote allows us to comment on it because we're also allowed to have a say on what we think of the skill, and ultimately, the only person whose say on this matters in Dev. If he sees the entire thread and decides to make it axe compatible, it becomes axe compatible. There doesn't need to be another thread for asking for a skill that doesn't exist yet to be axe compatible, too. He's right to post it in this thread, and Dev is probably less likely to consider your idea if you treat everyone with that attitude.
That aside, this is a bit much, to me. The extra range, extra hit, fear, hesitation, and interference all together are overbearing. For the amount of power that comes with this, an even bigger health portion taken, alongside being 6M rather than 3M, would balance things out a bit more. Ending 145: Disappointed in Humanity

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions and ideas but when you continuously try and shove it down my throat after I said no, then I'm not the issue at hand. I never said he couldn't post on here I said if he wants an axe skill to suggest one its a public forum, don't try and force something onto my idea if I simply don't like it. He insisted on trolling here even after I said "I don't like that, ghosts have 2 axe skills already" multiple times I don't think I said anything wrong. Dev has the final say but in the end its still my idea whether it gets used or not, you can't just discredit me for it and attempt to find a back alley into how X and Y can alter it. You can offer critique and advice that doesn't mean you can change my idea just because you say so.

This skill is completely overpowered. Being able to throw down Absolute Fears at people, except that Silence is replaced with an effect that will cripple everyone compared to some, whenever you land a Basic Attack is incontestable. A two round duration does not matter when you can hit someone over and over again and never have to worry about Interference running out, and that's not even beginning to touch where Hesitation can cost someone their attack. (And if the skill's duration runs out, you need only apply 3m and then rush back in to keep the effects going) The fact this also boosts range and substantially boosts hit makes it all but guaranteed for someone who's built for basic attacks to keep this pseudo-lockdown going.
I really can't support this idea at all; making it balanced would requires fundamental changes, and Ghost is better off getting its current skills changed/revamped than any additions to its arsenal. You told him to move post. That's where you went wrong. He suggested an improvement he wanted in your skill, and you told him to buzz off. That's selfish of you. Remember, at the end of this, if the skill makes it in, it's free for everyone to use, so everyone gets a say. You're not any more entitled because you suggested it. Once you put it here, people can suggest more for it. Telling them to buzz off and make a new thread won't do anything for you. Heck, it'd probably make Dev trust you even less, leading to less interest in your idea. If you don't like a suggestion, give reasons why, but don't say "Make a new thread, this is MY idea", because you don't have control of that idea anymore. You don't own it, so stop trying to.
