Not at the moment. Go ahead with whatever you want to work on, when it's closer to becoming a reality I'll let you know.

Alright. Would adding this cause any issues to the game? Right now, it loads up fine in the editor when I throw it in new_turfs.dm. This is just the alpha_mod I use for lighting color coded by using your method so I can see visually.
EDIT: Also, is there an easier way to make NPCs? Such as forming the sprite sheet dmi for a NPC while using SL2 specific clothing (like from mirror shards and whatnot).

It should be fine.
There are easier ways, I can give you a tool to do so if it'll help. Just let me know which key.

What exactly is the cause of this issue? It happened the second I booted the maker up with it, and it seems like everything is in it's proper place despite.

This has been answered a few times. You need to enable FILE_DIR for sub-directories in Build -> Preferences

Is it fine/safe to edit a turf's Shift_X and Shift_Y value?
I have examined other terrain in the mapping folder and found the auto-joined dark forest terrain turf to use this but I would like some clarification given this method does not use coding but direct tile edits. The reason I have asked is because it seems similar enough to pixel movement to make me cautious

Shift_X and Shift_Y are used for icon displacements when you walk on the turf. You'd have to tell me for what purpose you want to edit it.

The main reason I'm interested in it is for the aesthetic purpose of letting the player move their sprite closer to the edge of a tile rather than looking like they're being overly cautious of the edge of a cliff for example.
For these reasons I have no intentions of bringing the Shift_X and Shift_Y values below -8 or above 8. |
