This just happened with me, but I managed to fix it with the solution listed a few posts above.

PS: I had deleted a char on that account earlier.

I have tried most of these keys and such, and haven't had the issue in the offline version. So maybe I fixed it somehow. Let me know after the update.

I just got it right now, on key "Sayrock".

I've found the cause of this and it should be corrected. I will upload the fix later.

In the mean time, you can also type 'save-load' when this bug occurs to load your first slot, and it shouldn't occur afterwards. From what I noticed, this happens when you relog on the title screen after clicking the title screen once already.
