They are now treated as Defensive Knowledge skills and are mutually exclusive (in reality, they both give the same effect), and so no longer stack.

Further adjustments can come later if necessary but as two people mentioned above, there are some easy ways to abuse a lack of magic defense and so I think this build is only really a problem for over-specialized physical damage dealers. It already was, but being able to deal absolutely NO damage was reason for a change, and stacking these two skills was a problem outside of this specific build anyway.
