Sand Shark attacks Butterfly Illusion with Sandfang and hits them!
Butterfly Illusion takes 80 Pierce damage.
Sand Shark was inflicted with Poison!

Sand Shark attacks Elizabeth Viatolé with Sandfang and misses them!

The Sand Shark afflicted with Charm still attempted to attack me, even though it was charmed by my butterfly. I think that if a butterfly illusion inflicts charm on an enemy, they are charmed towards the butterfly only. If that's so, that status effect won't do much good at all when inflicted by the butterflies.
