But did we not just give about six reasons and ways they should never reach 0 Durability?

One enemy causes weaponry to lose a durability, no matter what. Two if its a basic attack that normally consumes it, and thats the Acidic Jammers. Which, if you aren't that strong or are getting swarmed by them, could definitely prove to be a problem. If you run out of FP, problem. I think the major complaint was that weapon users were getting, yet again, gipped in the dungeon department while Magic Users run willy nilly with no counter, or hard counter, in the dungeoning process.

Just because they're a magic user doesn't mean they don't also use weapons.
And again, I don't think somebody should be subject to lose their weapon just because of a dungeon suffix. That's a huge turn-off and people will be less likely to go in. They're probably be more likely to do Spacey dungeons than that.
I make repair powder all the time, and sell it. It still doesn't make me want to go in a dungeon that devours my weapon. If I ever saw any dungeon that did that, I'd nope the fuck out of that area until it no longer existed.

It shouldn't devour it unless you let your weapon reach 0. And I'm assuming only a low STR Mage type could manage to go from 45 to 0 in one battle, of any kind.

Honestly, I don't see why spells don't take durability from your tome/spell edge weapon. It'd make sense.

You're missing the point. I wouldn't go into the dungeon, period. "Take my weapon I worked my ass off for / got as a gift / bought with hard earned money away from me? Nope.jpg."
And I still say that's not something anybody should be subject to.

Much like in real life, if you fear losing something valuable to you in one way or another, you could keep it somewhere safe, and/or maintain it well.
Fleeing changes the enemy type. Can't Flee? Shouldn't be trying to solo a Crazy dungeon.
You see that dungeon, you can grab a crew, or Quote:nope the fuck out of that area until it no longer existed.

Since when is creating elements of gameplay that allow the players to think for themselves and come up with their own solutions a "competition"? Since when is being able to apply basic problem-solving skills "throwing your ego around"? When I say draw a line of "get gud", I mean there should be a point where you're expected to think for yourself and and not have the game tell you how to deal with stuff.

Internet ate my post and I'm tired of all the BS it's been giving me tonight.
Tl;dr: Saying "get gud" is a terrible way to get your point across and makes you sound like a jerk who only cares about stats and min-maxing and all that crap. I understand your point, but it needed to be said in the way you just said it (the quote I made of you). That's all.
But when it comes to gameplay, if people want casual play, let them have casual play, one person's ideal of gameplay shouldn't change the whole system for other people.
As for the subject at hand, which went from Maintenance to Disrepair; which honestly isn't something to get worked up over, it's just an idea.
I'll bold what I'm saying to get my point to be focused on. No one should be subjected to losing their weapon under any circumstance, that's -nearly- the same as a permadeath dungeon. It's hard work or something that is of value to them that they use for the purpose of fighting, and despite realism, it's just a game. The way the dungeon suffix was suggested makes them less desirable than Spacey, which is the most hated dungeon type currently.

Anyways, saying get gud is how cool kids say "Maybe you should learn the mechanics of the system you are in before making complaints, because the thing you are having problems with can be easily solved with a bit of research and I do not feel that it should be handed directly to you; you should put some work into it to show dedication."
