Can we remove the -5 hit on mutation? Losing the enchant slot already feels like a cost enough to switch weapon types.
If it absolutely needs a downside, it can increase BW or lose power instead.

i personally would consider losing power to be worse than losing hit. then again I rarely build more than 200 hit anyways.

I don't think Mutation needs a downside, it already increases weight which is a slight downside, but Mundane has it figured out in my opinion, the cost of your enchantment slot IS a downside.

It certainly doesn't need the downside, losing out on an enchant slot is a big downside

Ditto. +1. It's just really unnecessary and hurts people who want to use something already niche. Losing Reaper/Fated/Divine/etc. is awful.

If you want to give it a solid drawback while giving them the vibe of being unwieldy, just make it so it doesn't get bonus momentum on critical hits.

We don't need to be negotiating an even worse drawback when the point of the post is to remove the drawback
