Eviter does not work against monster weapons, now while I swear I recall it being changed to work against such a very long time ago, I cannot find any patch notes or bug reports that would suggest otherwise on the forums, meaning it was either once patched in a testing server version or was discussed about and never followed up on.
Either way I took 10 punches to the face and could not deflect a single one, with a 70% parry rate I am unconvinced that I am simply unlucky and now I am requesting recompense for my broken facial tissue in the form of asking on if this is a bug or not and if it can be fixed.

An additional bug I've found is that Eviter doesn't appear to trigger at all if you're only equipped with one weapon, it will trigger if your off-hand applies, however if you're 2-handing a sword, it won't trigger at all.

Have you tried with player debug turned on? What weapon were you attempting to parry with?

A Magical Moon, but lemme post some debug info.
It seemed to be working specifically when I was using an off-hand weapon to parry, my Arbalest specifically was using a Roaring Rose to parry with in their off-hand and it worked against the Goblin Spear just fine.
I should note that quite a few duelists have noticed that eviter is non functioning this update either.
Here's the Arbalest's Debug information too, notably it has an actual chance listed in the debug despite not parrying, but I've seen it function, they specifically have an off-handed melee weapon so this is normal.

This has been corrected in 2.99.
