Talked to Dyst about this, and I was told to report it as a bug.

You can currently use the equip-item verb command to equip items onto your character during a battle, which is not right.

Shouldn't be anymore. (And I bet this finally got spotlighted because you can see equipment in examine, meaning someone got caught.)

This thread was made a day before great reckoning's beta server went up though(though, ignore this if you're just replying to the last post), anyway thank you, this happened to me once in an OOC fight, rather hilarious to shoot myself twice on a mirror though lol, I mostly just wanted to say that sorry.
