Quote:Frosttouch Gi:
Gain a chilly air barrier that deals 15 unresistible Ice damage to attackers for the rest of the round after casting a Aquarian spell.
Frosttouch Gi currently provides its benefit until the end of the round once an Aquarian spell is cast. Can the duration instead be changed to 2 rounds, so people who move slower can at least benefit from the item? The elemental gis are fantastic thematically, but need a little love to live up to their current 9* rarity. Maybe even tweaks to make them play nicely with the Great Reckoning elemental ATK scaling.

All the X-touch Gis work like this. It'd be nice if they all lasted 2 rounds.
Their current best use is breaking down for raremetal since they're all really bad 9*.

They could be changed to until your next turn effects possibly. I'm not sure if any of them would be particularly broken if that were the case, off the top of my head.

I'm not a big fan of 'until next turn' effects because:
- A faster person skipping makes defensive statuses expire before they can even be used.
- 'Normal' status effects generally make being faster than your enemy actually a good thing.
And from what I remember, none of the Gis would be 'particularly broken' even with a 3 round duration.

All of them are kinda weak-ok.
+15 str? Neat but not OPed considering how stats work now. But probably the best of the four.
+15 crit? Kinda cool for a crit build but not overhelming since you give up your torso slot (aka a Sarashi Gi could technically do the same and more when you dual wield something )
+15 evade? same as with the crit just that the sarasha Gi kinda combines both of them and dual wielding for a mage isn´t hard either.
15 ice damage when attacked(I assume only non autohits/goes against resistance?, never even tested it). Kinda...pretty weak. I would never even consider this on my ice characters, there are far to many better options. By far the weakest of them.
So in general I would say they all could need a little extra love since they are damm rare.
increasing the duration is a good start but still, even then they are pretty mediocre at best in my opinion.

Maybe they could reduce the FP cost of spells of the appropriate arcana instead?

Bump, just giving these a 2 turn duration would go a long way.

If they triggered on elemental damage instead, they would see more use.
or
Make them all give 15 of the stat they represent, and a barrier.

This is making things far more complicated than it needs to be. They have good bonuses and an interesting niche. Being able to get some use out of them the next round is all it needs to make them appealing picks. Frosttouch and Windswept can't even be used if you're slower, and Boltstruck and Flamedance both only give their benefit to the 2nd spell, since 3m is required to first trigger them.
Upping the duration to 2 is a very small tweak, and it would make a big difference. Revamping the items entirely is totally unnecessary.

I like the two-round or until-next-turn thought, slightly reducing their element's cost would be icing on the cake.
