This now happens when you look into a fight happening inside a Camp and then stop. Either that, or it's what happens when an Eventmin forcefully stops combat.
The result is owmyeyes.

Raigen helped me test, and it seems it completely removed the darkness's vfx, so at the time of the test (night time), it was not dark at all.
But it seems the torch's "solar flare" effect was also removed, too.
