Small camping bugs [v.2.34c] |

Will crosspost the "camping suggestions" with this one as well. Lets make camps a great tool for public roleplaying! Any more added under this post, I'll add it to the thread.
Minor Bugs
- Camp Pots trait do not work when crafting on a campfire after the new crafting overhaul update. (Tested on normal campfire)
- Some camp furniture cannot be moved or returned to inventory. This mostly involves the +2 tile furniture.
- Most furniture aren't interactable. (probably due to their instancing instead of being the direct inventory object.) This involves furniture like chairs which cannot rotate, but potentially crafting furniture.
Major Bugs
Camp Check Bug (Unconfirmed)
This seems to have happened once or twice, but when creating camps in quick succession, the check to see if they exist on the map might get stuck, and won't let you create another one, potentially until reboot.

Flanking for Daggers |

To alleviate some of the problems from lack of reliable hit steroids for daggers and their relatively low average 80% accuracy, rogue could get a passive that makes it so if you're behind your opponent then the flanking bonus from Guile provides half the value regardless of if you have another person flanking or not.

[2.33c] - Vampire Naga Slither |

I was unsure of whether to post this in bug or suggestions, and was suggested to put it here.
A vampire, on taking the naga tail, does not make the slithery sound effect, instead having the normal walking sound no matter what. This, obviously, presents a number of RP-based problems, and isn't really expected behavior from a player perspective, I don't think.

What the fuck. I always wake up, open my bookmarks, and then click to open a bunch at once, which includes the SL2 forums so I can check if there's any new posts. But whoop-de-fucking-doo, you guys haven't posted anything new this morning. Give me my fucking entertainment of reading dry bug reports, please. It makes things less lonely and I'm starting to get scared. I really miss you guys. Remember when you would post and I would check in the morning and it'd be all great? Haahh, those were the times.
Bye see you tomorrow.

Crafting System Revamp (Part One) - The crafting system UI has received a complete overhaul.
- New crafting tables are claimable when used and allows the claimer to craft items for other players much more easily.
- There is no longer a success/failure chance for crafting a recipe. Instead, you can only craft recipes at or below the relevant craft skill's level.
- Crafting EXP for crafting individual items has been reduced. However, you gain bonus crafting EXP for crafting a recipe for the first time. (This change was meant to give incentive to craft many different recipes instead of a cheap one repeatedly to level up.)
- Several recipes have had their required items and the craft they belong to adjusted.
- For more details, use a smelter in-game and click the question mark icon.
Smelting- Ores and remains are now considered unprocessed materials. Recipes requiring Material (Hard) (previously the 'ore' category) now use Ingots and Workable Remains instead.
- To create these items, you must use a smelter. Smelters require 5 ores or remains to smelt one ingot or workable remains.
- The type of item created depends on the item you put in the first slot. The items in the other four slots may be any other smeltable material, but using different ores/remains will reduce the success rate of smelting successfully.
- Success rate is increased by your Metalwork skill. Success rates exceeding 100% have a chance to trigger a great success, which will give an extra item.
- For more details, use a smelter in-game and click the question mark icon.
New Badlands Arena Map- Contributed by Spo, the Badlands Arena has received a facelift.
ETC- Crown of Heaven and Healer's Legacy - No longer give +1 to a specific craft skill. Instead they give +1 bonus crafting EXP for their specific craft.
- Campfires now use the new lighting system.
- Item quantity caching (for optimization purposes).

Redfang Tribe
![[Image: b9145f1bc8edf52e40645b1a01d2537f.png]](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/764304689436426242/764305348307451934/b9145f1bc8edf52e40645b1a01d2537f.png)
In the vast lands of Egwyn lies a tribe not many have known to hear about or see for one reason or another, however, recently they have been numerous sightings of such a tribe out on the Mainland of Sigrogana. The Tribe are known as ruthless protectors of those that they care about.
The Tribe is located in the northern parts of Egwyn and prefers to remain out of sight of most other tribes to prevent inner tribe conflicts and often prefer to speak in their Native tongue of Egwynian rather than common. Often trained specifically in polearms and on some occasions other melee weapons but this isn't always the case.
At the moment there are only two Redfang Player characters within the game and after discussing it with the other player we've decided to open it up and to the community, if they see fit to get involved. There are no restrictions what so ever to race or build or anything like that. If you're interested, feel free to leave a response on the bottom of this post with a Character Profile of sorts, the likely hood of them being accepted are pretty high. If you don't want to use the forums you're more than welcome to throw it at me in my dm's, I generally reply there quickly. I'd also like to note that you do not have to make a new character to be apart of this you can use an existing one if you so wish to do so.
If there is anything else you would like to know, feel free to slap em on here!

Item Upgrading keeping the original material |

As it stands, if you upgrade an item via crafting (I.E Swordsmaster's Ring to Enhanced Swordsmaster's ring.... or Crownbleeder to Crownbleeder Plus, etc.) it will not retain the original material. This can be detrimental if you want to keep it as a particular material relevant to your character, making you have to look for another material kit in the majority of the cases unless you planned in advance.
Can item upgrades retain the material they were previously?

Howdy.
To some of you, this might come as a surprise. To others, not so much. But as of next update, I'm going to be stepping down from my GM-position.
I'll be around the game still, so you're not rid of me just yet, I'll just be a regular player again. I will be taking a short break before you all see me, though, but I'm obviously always around on Discord if anyone needs me.
So yeah, that's all. For now, at least.
Have a good one, folks.

So, it's been a few weeks. A lot of shit's been said. A lot of shit's been called out. A lot of people have been called out so...
What did we learn? What was accomplished? Real talk here... did anything really change?
Ya' boi looking for your hot takes, your spicy memes, and most importantly... tell folks your SL2 new years resolutions. Man I know this type of shit's as useless as real goddamn new years resolutions that most people don't do fuck all to really act on after the first two to three weeks buuuuuut-
Hell maybe if you post some public stuff about what you're looking to do to improve the situation of the community or just change up your playstyle, maybe the risk of horrific public shaming from getting called out when you ain't putting up and showing up'll motivate you folks enough to stay on the path, you feel?
