As of late, talk of a small town in Lordwain has arisen around the area. A spot where the warmth of flames can be felt, though it's still quite cold. With a bright glowing clock-tower, one can almost mistake it for a proper town, if not for the shabby housing more often than not.

Stories of a mystery hidden in the town are told, time to time, about how an ancient mechanism powers the very ground beneath one's feet.

Will you look into the mystery?

  Let's Fix a Class (engineer)

I havint been able to touch the game for a week now so now you all get to suffer.

First thing to get out of the way. This is not a serious balance thread this is mostly for me to vent my thoughts on what could be a cool class however I will happly take all credit for any good ideas i stumble upon.

Let's start with the classes issues

#1 No Scaling Presumably due to being hard to balance this is the mian issue of the class your turrets are nearly uselss at level 50 up

#2 Momentum Management it takes two to three FULL TURNS to get everything you have out this is compramisable to a charge minded invocation xcept a charge minded invocation has a good chance of murdering a boss or the feild

#3 little to no synergy or support outside it's own class


Some Solutions.

#1 Make Map an invocation railgun pretty much sets the precedent that machines can use invocations even if it's just a mechanic work around
Suggested In cant: Gathering Power or Charging Devices
upon deployment the map spawns with all 4 other turrets already deployed or alternatively casting map causes your next X amount of engineer bots to be free to deploy (or 1M) preferably all 4. thats 3 less M then deploying all your turrets and get the MAP out. and deploying turrets regularly still has a place if you need to get things out fast.

#2 Revise the Bots (yes again) I really think that if your gonna keep the bots this weak they should beable to do some cool things to compensate

Medibot is pretty much perfect just make calibrate free to cast (turrets are weak enough already)

Aegis Still a walking kick me sign with a skill im still not sure if they are working right I think reflector should be 1M but on a cooldown I would give it more defensive options

Nows a good time to mention how i think revise bots should work. give them a their system each rank in the skill changes their tier

Rank 1 Stabilizer
Rank 2 Solvolitile Blue Potion
Rank 3 Liquid Bravery Throat opener
Rank 4 Hi Potion Regenerative
Rank 5 medicine changes to PR Meds and MEds count as if used by someone with 5 ranks in perfection talent

I also think they should have skill trees similar to the Demon Hunter

MEdicopter Alt Upgrades.
Dynamite Solutions provides the medicopter with one bomb item depending on its rank
rank 1 Bomb
rank 2 med bomb
rank 3 big bomb

I also see it getting upgrades to carry items like buff potions increase it's delivery range access to repair powder hat alchemists make and such investing in the medicoptor cements you as a supporter

Turret
Rank One Bullet Shred (change this to a one tile free aim) otherwise as is. Turret having two skill with no aiming flexibility is infuriating
Rank two HP+ Spirit Battery Copy it's summoners Elemental Spirt
Rank 3 Bullet Spray Augment Weapon Change main gun to be a Shotgun passively toggle off to return to autoturret mode
Rank 4 HP + Lock Acquired 3M Change next attack to fire off two rockets that hit in a 9 tile square
Rank 5 Unload Ammo 9M fire your basic weapon several times at a target or untill it's out of range (need to be overclocked)

Railgun I think its mostly fire as it is
Rank 1 Pew a low damaging laser attack
Rank 2 Rail shot
Rank 3 Pew Pew a second low damaging laser attack (samescaling as the first)
Rank 4 HP+ Focus causes on enemy to take increased damage for a time
Rank 5 Move+ (3)

WHAT IS INVENTOR'S GUILD?

The Inventor's Guild is a guild where great minds, ranging from scientists to wizards, witches, geniuses, tinkerers and all peoples of talents to come together, and create things to better the world at large! Those who would see the Inventor's Guild would be interested to partake in the various of things the guild would have to offer.

WHAT DO WE DO?

The Inventor's Guild, as the title puts it, is a Guild for Inventors. We create things ranging from improvements to technology, to weapon augmentations to make them better and effective, to experimentation and construction. We are a safe space for scientists to safely test their experiments (as long as they are legal of course), monitored by guards and minders in the guild who are highly skilled in multiple talents, and knows what they are doing. We also deal with technological anomalies and are wiling to assist investigation units on certain cases, especially if it involves unknown technology.

WHAT IS OUR AMBITION?

Our Ambition is to be the center of innovation, and to help the world progress forward one invention at a time. We seek to make sure that Sigrogana as a whole benefits from our guild, and present everyone with something that they would find something that would benefit them. So, Liches. Everyone knows how cool it is to be a lich after reading their lore and the implications it would have on the roleplaying setting (You did read it right? Really? You did right? I can trust you.).

However, I and many other players feel like this is not enough representation of a higher form of roleplaying. I mean sure, they sacrificed their body, past life and had the tiniest of chance to become this ethereal being of focus and energy but, come on.

Why is everyone being so mean to us? It's not like we did anything that bad right? I read the lore, it wasn't bad. We did literally nothing wrong. The term 'Lich' is honestly derogatory as well and I say we've had enough.

INTRODUCING LICH SUBRACE: SKELLYMEN

Lore: The Skellyman are a sub-race of lich who shun evil and being mean. Whilst in the midst of the extremely complicated ritual that they were forced to do (or for fun) they realized they have a higher purpose in life than tormenting mortals and being evil spooky.

Abstaining from evil has caused their usual ethereal form to lose most of their luster, allowing their skeletal bones to be far easily visible and having the option to wear more outfits made by mortal means.

Skellymen must store their past sins in a single focal point within their skeleton form such as one of their eye-holes, toes, nose, etc...When the Skellyman is in danger after telling a bad joke to people who just don't get it, the Skellyman will fire a blazing energy light of their past evil sins for battle at the chosen storage point.

Despite holding immense power and wisdom and practically immortal, the Skellymen still take the time and effort to mingle with the many races of Sigrogana, offering humerus jokes in their grim hours when all hope is lost.

As a new player to Sigrogana Legends 2, I don't really know much about stats or fighting so I won't make a stat sheet. I'm not a game developer but it should be really easy to code this in because I studied game design as my major during college and was in the gaming club for most of my life in middle and high school.

Here are some cool abilities I think Skellymen should have:

Tell Joke 3M: The bread and butter skill of all Skellymen. The Skellyman tells a quick one-liner to a target with a bonus to status infliction the higher their scaled sanctity. If successful the enemy is forced to laugh and is stunned for one round.

Tell Big Joke 6M: This is a more powerful version of 'Tell Joke'. The Skellyman starts the basis of a joke pulled from a large pool of pre-determined setups like an invocation before casting it again to pull out the punchline. This ability is map-wide and has a higher status infliction chance to mass-stun everyone with hysterical bone-cracking laughter.

Play Natural Xylophone 1M (Requires performance talent): Play a catchy, melodic tune using your ribcage to buff yourself allies with 'Skeletal Synergies'. If all your allies are directly adjacent to each other, all your movement skills will move them in unison with you.

  [Flyers] Suspicious Wanted Poster

Throughout Sigrogana's major hubs of Cellsvich and Dormeho, curious facsimiles of the common Wanted Posters placed up by First Squad are found, their quantity is sufficient to imply they were printed en masse. However, they have several clear distinguishing factors from those more legitimate copies:

Their manner and timing of being placed up is irregular and strange, unlike the official postings they often appear out of the blue, likely pinned up to random out of the way boards in the dead of night, to be found by the sun's rise. Also, they often appear in more unlikely places, slipped under the doors of businesses, errantly shoved into one's mailbox, et cetera.

The design itself is clearly an alteration of the standard Wanted Poster format, with no clear description beyond that which is provided on the paper and no clear reward stipulations. It is also clear that only the image of the person in question and the bold heading were printed. The rest of the poster show minute differences between each of them that would imply the parts of the wanted poster dealing with the particular's name and crimes were done by a different presses or perhaps even by diligent hand-copying.

Lastly, there is one curious element to the wanted posters. On the opposite side of each was what could be construed as an open letter, further cementing the subversive nature of the document.

Should a determined effort to engage in the removal of the Faux posters be undertaken, they will likely have their exposure minimised to the public at large and eventually cease in their entirety, at the very least whomever had tried this stunt was not actively producing these papers. Only the keenest of Adventurers or Bounty hunters would likely even be able to note the differences and be able to distinguish that these are in fact illegitimate or pay mind to their propagandist angle, hidden as it is.

A keen eye would also recognise discrete minutia in how these faux posters were posted versus the real deal that would bare the mark of and point individuals towards a certain printing company...

  [2.19b] Town Map Reversal Special

If you use the town map to move to somewhere else, and log out immediately after doing so, you will return to where you originally were.

Replication is exactly as stated above.

This has had no positive nor negative affects on characters, saves, etc. (that we have seen or know of).

Guardian Spirits seem to be bugged. In the sense that if you use them as a summoner, due to some unimaginable reason, they end up not having their actives or passives counted for Sync-Mind.

This notably only happened after I massaged the Youkai to its final level of Level 60. This wasn't happening from Level 10 - 59 and functioned as normal.

The Youkai in question is naturally, a Drowned Woman. I've tested in that I don't get Drown nor am I considered a Ghost (See: Holy Weakness doesn't affect me) while it's even the second Youkai on my list. I've tried making it my Singular Bonded Youkai via Contract Uno and even Contract Tres as my First, Second and Third Youkai to no avail.

I can still install it, however. Which functions as normal and gives me its active and passive ability as per install/sync-mind clauses. I can also still summon it as normal.


Steps to Replicate:

  • Step 1: Obtain Guardian Spirit
  • Step 2: Check to see that you can use the Active/Passive as intended via Sync Mind from Summoner.
  • Step 3: Get the Youkai to Level 59.
  • Step 4: Massage the Youkai to Level 60.
  • Step 5: See that you're clearly incapable of using the active/passive.
  • Step 6: See that you can still install and have it function as normal.

  Evil Farce

There's not a lot of incentive to be running cursed weaponry on hexers right now due to the nerfs that happened to Dark Invasion, also Evil Force doesn't see much use because the passive itself is not worth the skill points if hexer is not main classed.

Most basic attacking builds are not running hexer as main class either, maybe we'd see people stray away from vorpal or bloodhunt nearly as often if Evil Force wasn't halved while Hexer is sub-classed, also there's more hexer main class skills now that still facilitate it as being worth main class to other setups.

TL;DR, can we please remove the main class stipulation on Evil Force? Claret call and ignite power are not main class and achieve even more damage than it.
