Cannon Punch(2.21) |

Raid cannon replaces bare fists in most situations for a raid mech that takes the trait. It can be used as a gun for gun skills, and carries gun properties of innate armor piercing, and is affected by things like Arcane Gun which give it bonus will scaling. It functions in all necessary ways for the magic gunner class.
Currently, to use it for these functions, you have to have no other weapons equipped but it. It performs decently, but not particularly well as a gun, which is probably an okay spot for it? But the inability to equip a sub weapon is a little troubling when trying to figure out how to play a raid mech, especially since lead storm gates for weapon subtype and not weapon type.
However, the effects of what is commonly believed as a bug and hence avoided by the majority of the community cause raid cannon to also function perfectly fine for fist skills. You can use Raid Cannon's swa for heaven kick, geldoren, peddling wheel, all the way up to other skills like Kadouha.(charged shot!?) Honestly, it's kinda cool, but digressing from that.
Raid Cannon also takes benefit from MA bonuses to fist weapons and to bare fists, meaning MA passives give it +35 hit, +15 power, and +15 crit. This bonus is what makes it viable of sorts, since now, assuming you run only MA- you have a 100% skill scaling fist with 35 base power, 135 hit, and 15 crit.
This goes a bit further than that. Since it replaces bare fists, you can get an interesting phenomenon to reproduce. If you use MMA with this setup, raid cannon will function for your bare fist skills- as long as they're autohit skills. Autohit skills and only autohit skills will use Raid Cannon's SWA. Geldoren will, curiously, use bare fists, even if everything else is using Raid Cannon.
Raid Cannon also has a description implying it has an innate rampaging effect. It most certainly does not, and it functions as a weapon with no enchantment for the purposes of Purity Edge from Curate.
This is a comprehensive listing of raid cannon's functions and the features associated with it, as well as easy to follow instructions to reproduce them. As a repeat- to use raid cannon for any gun or fist skill, use no other weapons but it. You may have a shield or a glove in your off hand. To use raid cannon for any martial artist autohit(not geldoren), equip Mixed Martial Arts, your weapon of choice in your main hand, and your glove of choice in your off hand.
As an afterthought, I want to offer my personal opinion that raid cannon functioning as a fist weapon makes for some very nice flavor and an interesting way to build a character. I think an inspection might be best made into whether it's a good idea to allow its continued use in MMA, but I've done the math for a wide variety of builds involving it and haven't found anything especially absurd.
Thank you for your work on the game, as always.

THE OCCASIONAL BUGLE: CRIMSON CRUSADER SAVING THE WORLD ONE PIZZA AT A TIME |

Several flyers have been conspicuously placed around various public areas and notice boards of the major cities and towns of Sigrogana. They appear to be a news article from an up and coming news organization known as the Occasional Bugle... which, if anyone was to do research on, would find very little to actually work with aside from a registration for the company somewhere in Doraington. Regardless, the paper looks official enough.
THE OCCASIONAL BUGLE: CRIMSON CRUSADER SAVING THE WORLD ONE PIZZA AT A TIME
G. Greenspan Jones
We live in dangerous times. Or rather, it can be said that we have always lived in dangerous times. The armed and slightly unhinged wander the streets as if they were given a mandate to freely menace the every-day working public. Terrorists come and go like tourists, their explosive activities leaving scars that affect us, especially if you're in the business of doing absolutely anything with gunpowder, to this very day. And recently, the Black Falcons, the quintessential terrorist group of terrorist groups, the same organization that caused our fair Cellsvich to be absolutely decimated only to be rebuilt into this gentrified facsimile of a changing empire, made another attack in the government sanction combat pits. We live in some pretty dark times, whether we want to admit it or not. Or rather, dark times have always been emblematic of who we are as a nation, who we are as a people. However, that does not mean that we cannot have the occasional bit of light to pierce through this veil of negativity.
The Crimson Crusader, many of you know of him as that red-faced web-slinging vigilante type who in recent times has proved himself to, at the very least, be moderately useful in times of crisis. I don't like the man myself. I think vigilantes are a menace to society and if I had my way I'd rip the mask off of the damn web-slinger and show him off to the public who deserves to know. Still, I do know that many of my readers, even if I don't want to admit it, are fond of the red-faced superhero. I can't deny whatever service he has done for our fair nation. As such, in these dark times, I only feel obligated to inform you of a potentially limited time offer that you, my fair readers, can take advantage of right away if you have a bird and some disposable income.
Papa Oct's Pizzeria, a quaint little pizza joint in North Cellsvich that's still working on their grand opening. I've been a correspondent to their location a few times before in the past. Very nice decor, and while I can't judge their menu because they're still working on it, I can say their standard of cooking is good enough that I'd be willing to come back on my off time. Still, I'm a busy man. I don't always have the off time to go all the way to a damn pizzeria in the middle of a workweek when stories are passing me by every second. That's why, despite how much I don't approve of the Crusader, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard that Papa Oct's Pizzeria and the Crimson Crusader were entering into a partnership to enhance their delivery services.
If you want yourself a pizza with a side of celebrity send a bird to Papa Oct's Pizzeria and there's a chance that you might find a red-faced web-slinging menace to society swinging up to your front porch with a hot, fresh, delicious pizza in hand. These are dark times and honestly, while this does seem like a novelty I will admit that it is an entertaining one. So place your orders now and place your orders fast before this partnership is up. I know I will. After all, writing these stories really builds up an appetite.

Rumors were being spread around, originated by a group of warriors! They were seen
wearing curious outfits, almost mistaken by some character from an Onigan comic.
CALLING ALL FIGHTERS
The Sigroganan Riders, a group of fierce fighters, are looking for brave and powerful opponents.
We will organize an event, to take place in the Badlands Arena.
The event will consist of a series of fights - preferably four on four - not just for entertainment; recent events have
shown that preparation and training are always welcome, to face off the foul villains that threaten our peace.
Those who desire to do so can face off the Sigroganan Riders in combat,
or even face other teams that appear in the scheduled day and hour.
This is an event primarily for the enjoyment of all who attend, and to draw
attention to the arena, which has shown less activity throughout these days.
Are you brave enough?
Do you possess teamwork?
Is your power enough?
All will be revealed in the heat of combat.
The date and hour is likewise detailed by the rumors.
(Saturday, April 4th - 6:00 PM EST)
OOC Note: This is an event primarily for fun! It's nothing serious, fret not. Just fun and giggles.
This is an event mostly organized by Karidan and supported by associates.
We'll be waiting for you there!

BLACK FALCONS CAUGHT, MASS EXECUTION IN PUBLIC
04/18/349
On a nice, sunny evening out in The Badland Arena, Black Falcons were sighted en masse. Their platoon of soldiers were lead by a giant Dullahan in blue armor, menacing the arena with their numbers. But the adventurers, along with two Imperial Guards, were present to repel the assault. A battle broke out, lasting several hours. Nine arrests were reported, eight executions were confirmed. Local celebrity and vigilante, Crimson Crusader was spotted, facing battle alongside First Squad's Julien and Chillian against their forces. Co-leader of The Blades of the Promised Land, Percival Seraphym was also spotted doing battle against the Black Falcon forces.

04/18/349, Black Falcon skirmish in the Badland Arena, colorized
The Menacing Dullahan was backed into a corner, going toe to toe with Percival before being joined by the Crimson Crusader and a strange, Specter-like man reportedly named John. John the Specter had finished off the Dullahan with a giant, spinning rune of mass destruction, many witnesses hearing the iconic line: "Rune Spinner!" as it came smashing the Dullahan to bits. The Black Falcons were summarily arrested and promptly sent to Fort Arjav. Imperial Executioner, Morrigan Hertz carried out the public execution on order of Commander Michael Lamarrion. After rounding up the Falcons, the Guards had things to say regarding the situation.
First Squad Lancer, Julien Wrote:"The black falcons thought they'd terrorize us, but they were wrong. As a result, we've captured and publically executed them in Cellsvich as a reminder of what happens to those that seek to dismantle the Emperor's reign."
Imperial Executioner, Morrigan Hertz Wrote:"Revenge is a plate best served cold, my dears. Each slice will make you feel the touch of Death's Door."
Imperial Commander, Michael Lamarrion Wrote:"The Black Falcon's little circus act is drawing to a close. Long live the Empire."
Local heroes were asked for their statements on the situation, having taken part in the conflict.
Crimson Crusader Wrote:"I just wanted to go out and have ice creams with the guys after this."
Specter Man John Wrote:"You're not a cult Army. But you're totally the entire family of destruction."
Percival wasn't present to give a comment.

Silence and Immobilize |

Silence should, at random each round, seal half of your spells, making them unusable for that round, justified by blocking the flow of focus.
Immobilize should do the same for skills, justified by the same except for muscles and the like.
This will make both effects not so gamebreaking while still affecting combos.
