Perma RP bubble [V.2.15b] |

RP bubble has a nasty delay before it disappears. Okay so, RP bubble seem to have a timer? Base on how long it's active for? For some reason, whenever the RP bubble appears, it has a delay before it vanishes even after post/cancel. How long it takes to vanish---I want to assume it's x2 the time the bubble was active for? This applies to the bubble button as well.

On the Back of the Poster it reads:
The Weeping Willow Monastery is looking for all kinds of hands to join the fold. Students, potential Masters, General Workers, Doctors, and Egwynian Monks are all needed.
Should you be interested, please seek us out. We will answer any questions you have.
We teach Weeping Willow Style combat to all students.
We also provide housing for those in-need, of no charge, along with food. Should you need a shelter, come to us to see if you are eligible to receive housing and food.
OOC NOTES
This is a Roleplay and event group that will teach a certain combat style to those who need, like a dojo with extra commodities. The combat style works fine with most builds and classes.
Events will mostly be training sessions, but often enough adventures will be organized.
If you'd like to inquire further, message Deja Vu#8740.
You can also come to this location ICly to ask the Grandmaster about the Guild.

[Complete] Lispool Church Medical Ward |

In an effort to bring the Church's clinic up to par with the other clinics in-game, I've created the following remap. I made sure to test the map several times to make sure density is correct and that nothing is broken. [strike]I didn't need to add any eye restrictions because the black boxes are working as intended as well. [/strike] Nevermind, I added them just in case.
I don't need a special thank you for this, I just wanted to provide a more accurate representation of a medical ward for an in-game location that is lauded as a major center of medicine and healing.
And if you're wondering, the sanctuary tiles placed here is to symbolically represent Mercana usage in extreme emergencies. It doesn't need to actually be functional, but it's a nice nod to the location this medical ward is in -- gives it some ambiance.
[strike]My only reservation is that the clinic doors (where the patient files would go) are not the same as the ones in Dormeho's Clinic or Cellsvich Clinic; I could only find the empty_house obj, and when generating the map, it materializes with an empty house sign[/strike]. Never mind! Found the proper doors (they were in celianna build).(Unfortunately I didn't find the patient file obj, if it was even an obj included in this mapping environment.)
I did not use any new icons or files for this project. This was all done with what was provided in the .rar file.
The blood drive nurse can hopefully go somewhere here (specifically, coordinate 9,15,1 -- if that helps any):

Anyway, I hope you like it, Dev! I actually quite enjoyed this little project. (Also yes I still am working on Voilegard's map, but now I have to reassess it using what I now know and I think I may have broken it somewhat. I despair.) If you need me to change anything or add anything, I'll do so gladly.

Player Count for Player Properties |

Player Housing is a great way to create unique and diverse environments and flesh out the world and open up many new avenues of interactions - or at least they would be if it weren't for the fact that there's no way of telling if a property is empty or not.
So, a probable fix to this could be the addition of a 'Player's Inside' counter visible on a property's frontage in some regard. This way, players can tell if a certain venue is active, and even if it isn't, if they linger inside then other players would be incentivized to join them as they'd see that there's opportunity to roleplay within which in turn can draw an even larger crowd into a venue that may have otherwise remained totally empty.
Also this should almost certainly be an optional feature though, a lot of people prefer their privacy, especially if they're planning an event or are running some manner of scene they don't want intrusions upon.

(2.15b) Overly Firely Feathers |

It seems like the feathers when they are created via a skill, and you have a elemental badge on, still deal fire damage. It does change it to the element however on turn end or when being stepped on.
Shivar van Fenrir takes 30 Fire physical damage.
Shivar van Fenrir takes 97 Pierce physical damage. (Falcon Strike / Frozen Reaper)
Shivar van Fenrir takes 26 Ice physical damage.
--- ROUND 4 ---
Shivar van Fenrir recovered 2 HP.
Shivar van Fenrir recovered 10 FP.
Shivania van Fenrir recovered 1 HP.
Shivania van Fenrir recovered 3 FP.
Shivar van Fenrir's turn.
Also notice how they are Physical damage, instead of Magical.

(2.15b) Unimmobilized mobile skills |

I believe serval skills that should be labeld as movement skills are not properly labed and I assume its an oversight. so those skills are uneffected by Immobilize/Frozen and given their great mobillity, I doubt that was intended.
Summoner:
Jhunn-Jetwing (given its great mobillity I assume its unintended)
Firebird:
Falcon Strike
Riser? (probably fine though)
Racial/Item: (I feel those shouldn't work either, espicially not when you are a fat block of ice)
Gain Air
Burn Up
Leaping Lizard
A skill that is hindered by Immobility though it shouldn't is:
Firebird:
Pierce Linker (Its not a movement skill, it attacks in a straight line, It also gives Mirage walk.)
All skills are tested with Frozen only, since I lack the tools to test it reasonably with Immobilize. If anyone noticed any other skills that are unjustifiedly stopped by Frozen (like Pierce Linker) or isn't stopped by it, feel free to add it here.

Version 2.15b The problem with reincarnation |

So, I had gotten fed up with my completely unviable build that couldn't even face monsters my own level on a character, deleted it to re-try from scratch while in a dungeon and *pop* suddenly I come back to re-create and i'm outside on the overworld.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Step 1: Have character save file.
Step 2: enter non-static dungeon, in particular, do not move from beneath the staircase from entering to the first floor (to recreate what I did)
Step 3: use the .relog macro after setting that up with the macro list to get back to the title screen.
Step 4: Delete save.
Step 5: come back in and try to create a character save.
Step 6: You should now be a ren brown soul on the overworld map where the dungeon you were last inside of is.

Role Idea: Surveyor |

Quote:Devourer of Souls - 11/07/2019
I have a few more ideas for positions that I haven't ironed out the details for
Things like Water Sourcer
Devourer of Souls - 11/07/2019
Depending on your water source it may affect the health of the town and make the clinic need to treat more patients, etc
And how far away it is from the town determines how much it costs to transport
So while I didn't mind the idea of Water Sourcer, I thought it sounded a little too narrow in scope so I wanted to broaden it with an idea that has a similar role but not only focused on water, Surveyors.
The concept of a Surveyor is that they're someone that goes out to the world map and uncovers points of interest which could be things such as mining spots, groves, water sources, treasure hoards, etc. that can be harvested for resources for both players and towns.
Points of interest are spots found randomly on the world map much like dungeons, however they are invisible and inaccessible until revealed. To reveal them, you would make use of "Surveying Tools", these tools can be used on the world map for a Stamina cost to ping your location, this would either result in "nothing of interest is nearby", "something interesting seems to be toward the [compass direction]" or if close enough, "you discover a hidden [location]!" and reveal the point of interest.
Once a location is revealed, it makes an area of that kind of location on the world map where any player can access it and find materials they can make use of. (e.g. Mines have various ores and stones, Groves have wood and plants, Water Sources also have plants and pure water, Treasure Hoards have treasure chests, etc.)
However, for Surveyors, it has an additional use where they can spend Marks (town currency) to send workers to gather resources from the point of interest. (Mines for Metals, Groves for Wood, Water Sources for Water, Treasure Hoards for Marks, etc.)
Sometimes points of interest can be contested by monsters or bandits, in which they'll need to be cleared out by players (or perhaps also by the militia head role sending militia to clear out the location) before they can utilized by Surveyors.
Additionally, I imagine the chance of finding certain types of locations, how locations look, the kind of monsters that might be found in them and what they're called varies depending on the region, this would be most noticeable for Gold and Lordwain.
(e.g. In Gold, the Water Sources and Groves would instead look like an Oasis but they'd be rarer to find. In Lordwain, points of interest would look icy/snowy. Bandits would pop up in areas more frequently in Gold and Sigrogana, etc.)
