A Mechanation's impromptu diary |

A simple, leather-back diary bought from an Alstalsian merchant within the markets of Dormeho. Upon the reverse side of the cover was taped a tattered, smudged photograph capturing a family of five. On the ground with crossed legs sat a girl with long, braided hair and a bright, toothy grin. On her left, a similarly faced girl with neatly kept twintails and a theatrically haughty expression, along with a taller, dashing man with unkempt, shoulder length hair, a broad build and cocky smirk. To her right, stood tall and proper despite his shorter height, a boyish young man with neatly cropped hair and a tome hugged in both arms. Towering above them all and behind with a proud smile that trumped even that of the girl below him, a bald, bearded and dark-skinned Onigan man with a colossal build. The edges of the picture were singed and torn relentlessly, threatening to consume the captured memory in its entirety.
Upon the first page, scratchy writing.
Quote:Bought this notebook today. I figured it might be a good idea. Not really sure what to do.
I could not sleep last night. Nightmares kept me awake, and I could not shake the stiff, burning feeling in my leg. Woke Gungnir up from her sleep with the pain, chewed down on a chunk of the landlaugher Micca gave me and eventually drifted back. Some nights, it feels like nothing is improving.
First thing I did after getting tea and spending the early morning at home was head down to Micca's workshop, to visit her and Felicia. Offered to help around, but there wasn't much to be done, so I went for a walk down to the market, where I bought this thing.
I then went and fished for a while on the dock, and I kept to myself, mostly. I have not seen Ichirou for a while, my poor idiot brother. This sort of thing seems more his speed, I do not even know what to write!!!
I suppose it would be wise to pin the old photo to it. Might be safer after what happened before. I think I sign off, here. Or maybe that was for letters? Gungnir is better at this than me. If Jon was here, he would have known.

A change to narration |

The function to to be able to narrate events in your own house without having to emote has proven a really nice addition to work with. It makes events better, and I think it was a great addition to the game. There's just one problem I have with it.
Can the owner of a house have the ability to set narrators, like they can bouncers, builders, and farmers? Not every event is run in the house of the person who hosts it - say, someone lends a house out for someone doing an event. The event runner has to work with emotes, the old fashioned way, and I wish they would be able to - with permission - narrate using this function, instead.

Mirror's Edge [v.2.01b] |

When reflecting specifically line based projectiles it uses the Spirit Mirror's user's weapon and stats/skill level to determine the damage, ending up in remarkably depressing numbers even when reflecting really really big moves, as it'll end up defaulting to the user's bare fists or the weapon if applicable, or in the case of reflecting magic it will only deal the elemental portion of the spell if you do not have a casting implement equipped. (which can either be really low or mediocre depending on the build)
Furthermore it seems that line based projectiles will only reflect back one singular tile instead of the remaining distance or the full distance.
Pictured here is a 150 SWA sword using rank 5 Eclair Lacroix into someone using a spirit mirror, because they do not have Eclair Lacroix at rank 5, or are using a sword their damage is remarkably pitiful.

One more thing I should mention is that targetted abilities such as Ryemei, Gun Basics and Bow basics will reflect back to the original caster using their weapon/skill/etc. and for the full distance, allowing spirit mirror to be of full use.
What I'm asking for what I assume to be a bug for the very reason written above is that first off when Spirit Mirror reflects back a projectile that the remaining distance and ownership of the projectile are retained from the original caster, allowing spirit mirror to not require to rank up every projectile in the game to rank 5, as well as having the right tool to use the ability from ever.
To replicate this issue (I used shinken, Fir and eclair lacroix):
1) Fight an opponent with the reflect projectile status
2) Fire off a line based ability into reflect projectile, resulting in its travel distance back being severely cut and damage likely being stimped because of skills not ranked.

The Claret Call LV should be removed from the item and replaced with something else.
The reason is that it seems to be impeding Ghosts to properly use them, when first and foremost, this would be an equipment thematic for them. (As no other class uses Claret Call at 'all'.) Plus, Claret Call is a static 10 bonus damage on basic hits, so I can only think of changing the effect to:
On Hit: Physical Damage inflicts or powers up Lingering Damage by LV UL/4 for 2 rounds.
--May fix them, while making both good for Ghosts and all other classes that previously couldn't use it.

[Que] Bloody palm and Ghost interaction. |

Bloody palm inflcits level 12 clarent call, Ghosts that use it can however not get past level 12, cause it resets it to that level.
previously it made sense cause Bloody Palm was the stronger effect so it would overwrite it.
Now the question is if you had that in mind while chaging how ghosts CC works, or its unintended for it to basically freeze your CC level to 12. Or is it meant to Power up from that level 12 up to it's maximum?

So while I was looking for White Spirits on a newer character, it didn't seem like there were many spawn locations (since then I've learned of many other locations you can find spirits at in general) and I thought a neat idea would be to have failed black beast defenses cause more spirits to spawn relative to how few black beat packs were killed - which didn't seem to odd given that spirits will spawn in most of the locations they attack so far (I don't think I've seen any spirits at the Coastal Cove yet so I'm not certain enough to say for 100%).
The idea behind this is that there are more black beasts left to go unchecked meaning thusly NPCs off-screen could very well perish - with their spirits being left at odds, not wanting to move on, perhaps?
Maybe something like:
0-9 packs killed: 8 spirits spawn.
10-19 packs killed: 6 spirits spawn.
20-29 packs killed: 4 spirits spawn.
30+ packs killed: 2 spirits spawn.
This could either be spirit masses or single spirits; also not exclusively intended for white or black spirits.

Can't Repair Broken Sentimentality |

For the purposes of repairing your weapon, two things come to mind: you can either repair your weapon at a Blacksmith or use some repair powder if you keep any on-hand for such an occasion. Currently though, it seems once you hit your normal max for Durability on a weapon (in this instance 42/42 - meaning when you try to repair the bonus Durability from Sentimentality it will be 42/52 no matter how much you use), it won't repair it any further unless taken to a Blacksmith.
Example:
You use the Repair Powder.
You use the Repair Powder. Your Blacksand's condition improves. (42/52)
