Last thing to finally balance Hexer [Death Knighting should be Main Class] |

Death Knighting should be a Main Class only skill.
Aside Death Knighting being a giant all-stats buff, which is already giving an enormous advantage to the user, the passive 'Fallcall' combined with Ghost's Ether Invitation does 1000 damage to any race but Shaitan, and effectively one-shotting people for an easily-inflicted status effect, Fear.
(And Fear can be inflicted in many different ways without counterplay, be it with the Haunted Soul, Haunting on a Claret Call enemy or using the Hexer's magic, Fleeing Spectres, on an enemy under Payback.)

Staff of eyes |

The SoE is a light weapon, yet unlike other light-based weapons, it scales off no faith despite also being dropped by light-using enemies.
Currently it scales off 60% STR only as if it is a melee-only weapon, and it's a classified as a staff; Priests have a difficult time building around a weapon using God Rod that can't scale off the main stat of a Priest, Faith.
75% FAI, 25% STR would be a nicer scaling for the weapon, and would just make more sense.
Since the wo-dao/staff of eyes era is far long gone, and since said builds using that set-up mostly use it for the +24 hit and +12% damage for the main hand weapon, I don't think it would be that damaging to them either.
Thoughts?

[Request] Formulas |

Can we possibly have the formula used to determine diminishing returns of the stat cap? If it's listed somewhere else, I wasn't able to find it.
Additionally, could you clarify the order of calculation for damage? As far as I'm aware, the order is %Resists -> %damage reduction -> armor -> External reductions (Wraithguard, Evasion, Eviter). Since defense is %DR now, is it accurate to say it has the exact same impact as far as reduction is concerned as %resists do? For example, is 30% physical DR and 15% slash resistance identical to 15% physical DR and 30% slashing damage?

So I remember more than a few people saying ERP isn't allowed because BYOND's TOS doesn't allow it.
"Tom"' Wrote:The TOS only applies to our website and hub. We do not have the manpower or the desire to police anything that goes on inside games. All you degenerates rejoice!
Except it's still against SL2 rules.

Tough luck.

Steel Aura doesn't block on hits caused by statuses such as narcus, for some reason it also doesn't stop elemental augment, I assume this is also related since it might be tied to the current elemental enchant?

Could all jewels be enchantable on all weapons/handslot/torsos? IE Jeweled on torsos and hands, all other jewels on weapons and such. It feels odd that jeweled can only be enchanted on weapons while the rest exclusively otherwise.

Lore Questions: April (2017) |

This is a new topic for Lore Questions because the old one was about 26 pages. The format is roughly the same, but some guidelines;
1) Try and format your questions appropriately. As in, make it easy to read and answer.
2) Try and limit the number of questions you ask per thread. I don't mind answering them, but don't get crazy and ask me 20 things, especially if they require detailed answers.
3) Try to avoid asking extremely specific questions, such as 'Did anyone ever die of food poisoning in Cellsvich?'. Answering these is difficult, because not everything is set in stone, so giving a definitive answer on it not only restricts me in the future, but it might influence other players' character concepts that involve it.
That said, if you have any questions, you can post them in this thread! I will post answers at the end of the month/start of the next one.
Thanks! (And yes, if you had questions from the previous topic that I didn't answer before I closed it, you can post them here, but remember the formatting guideline.)
