Can their passive give get 25% to every elemental resistance, added to their reverse-nulled effect? (So they get a Resist! that's unable to be reduced by any sources of elemental nullification)

They're too ezy pezy to fight against.

  Geist Schritt and lanterns
Posted by: Autumn - 02-18-2017, 03:52 AM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (2)

Geist Schritt (Zwei) seems to be able to block lantern abilities such as Quetal/Rebia/Salamander/The rest, I don't think lanterns should be effected by GS2, for 2 reasons:

1: Its a really huge AoE around the caster, not exactly something that the lantern bearer can help nor does it make sense.

2: When gentle embers is toggled on, GS2 will STILL block Lantern Flames, blocking you from supporting your team mates entirely as long as there is a boxer around your area, and that sucks royally.

Could we possibly see lantern flames change to not proc GS2 somehow?

  [Board] Wanted Board
Posted by: Autumn - 02-17-2017, 10:38 PM - Forum: Sigrogana - Replies (25)

[i]A new wave of wanted posters are spread out across various public boards in Cellsvich, Dormeho, Tannis and even on the wall at the Badlands Arena, each one plastered with an artist's accurate rendition of certain criminals, presume that each poster is provided with an accurate description of the criminal listed, each of the wanted posters is handled and hung up by a cordial white haired grimalkin woman, who noticeably is first squad. (Yes she still does this.)

Written in fine print at the bottom of each poster would detail the rewards for each of the wanted posters, placing a bounty on each of their heads.

(OOCly, Legend inks are also a reward, they represent a deed not an actual item.)

  *This* /time/ for -emphasis-
Posted by: Soapy - 02-17-2017, 04:11 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (2)

It would be pretty awesome if we could italicize certain words by wrapping them with (insert symbol of choice here).

This would be for whisper/say/shout/emote/lemote/pet say/pet emote, and for wemote it would un-italicize for the same effect.

I imagine there will be some that don't see much of a point in this, but emphasizing specific words is great for defining a character's speech patterns, makes it more clear what's really being said, etc.

  [board] A request for information
Posted by: Guest - 02-17-2017, 02:56 PM - Forum: Sigrogana - Replies (2)

[A sheet of faded paper has been written on and attached to the board, covering up several quite old and faded posters.]

I've noticed a couple of young boys hanging around my house as of late. Does anyone know who they are or where their parents are?
They're about fourteen, fifteen. One has dark hair and the other is blonde. They're not a nuisance, (yet?) but I wonder if they're alright at home.

If you know anything about them please attach a note to this one, or just write on the sheet.
Thanks, M.

It seems that they are still not adjusted to GR stats.

- Quaking Roundtrip can now only pull a Player Character 5 tiles in one direction per use.

For some reason it still pulls enemies all the way when using charging roundtrip.

  Sword Discussion
Posted by: Autumn - 02-17-2017, 12:17 AM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (20)

Since great reckoning the only swords worth mentioning are very few katanas, they sort of lost their edge when axes and spears were given super cool tools to use, such as Axes being identified as critical mutilators, and spears being super accurate powerhouses with low critical rates, but swords were kinda left in the dust in my opinion.

While swords can be strong, only a select few are, those few being Wo-dao, Fuuma and Magical Star.

The first two are because they are katanas that can have rebelling enchant on them, and magical star because it's a casting regiment, other than that swords are rather lackluster in general and there's not much going for them other than skills, they don't even have a weapon identity really.

Swords lack as much accuracy as axes and spears, lower critical damage than both axes and spears, lower base damage than both axes and spears, lower critical rates than axes, but to a sword's credit they have more skills than both, power gradation and sidecut are pretty big admittedly.

I want to discuss possibilities of how to make swords seem more versatile in general, while not overbuffing them.

For one, I fully believe that most swords should be upped to 115% or 120% critical damage, axes have 120% critical damage but are further buffed up by spiked axehead and sub ranks of Deadliness to achieve 140% critical damage, so I believe 120% critical damage would be fair.

Secondly I think that some sword scalings should be discussed, namely those swords that seem light in nature (Hakouhen Katana, Moonblade, Spectre Sword, Tarnada, Yuki-jin, specifically) should have their STR scaling be swapped around to be ALL or at least majority SKI scaling.

Any thoughts that anyone would like to express?

  Jhunnder Where?
Posted by: Balthie - 02-16-2017, 09:49 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (6)

Aside from this being the worst thread name known to man, I'm having a slight issue with Jhunn.
Once it hit level fourty, Jhunn became unsummonable through regular means- for the record, I have both the GS and Bonder summon level increase innates, too.
Autosummon and infernal summon still seem to work, just not the Summon Jhunn skill.

As visual confirmation-

I've also tried other things, like using GS instead of Bonder, and rearranging slots, but no dice.

Sometimes, the one of the maps of the Castle dungeons creates invisible walls in some tiles, as shown by the screenshot below:
