Hot Potato Auto Post-battle Re-Equip |

Meant to post this a long time ago. Forgot. Never saw anything about it in the update notes. Assuming it's unchanged.
Hot Potato is actually more useful for grinding than you might think, for the following reasons.
- Constantly re-stealing common spells to make up for the three you just lost.
- Emptying a hand for either Empty Palm or Two-Handed after that burst.
But the downside, besides the obvious "It breaks?" It STAYS unequipped after the battle. Some party leaders won't want to wait and start moving right away - and if you go into the menu to equip it, they bitch at you for getting the party back attacked because it restricted the party's movement. Nobody is happy with that.
Could it just be re-equipped automatically?

This skill alone doesn't have any special interactions with Nachbeben.
This skill doesn't ignore Evasion. This skill doesn't ignore Wraithguard. This skill doesn't ignore Guard. (all should count as 'methods of protection'.)
This skill doesn't give any extra Schwarz Sturm points, and 'needs' it stacked to actually do more than 16 damage.
This skill's damage, alone, is tops 16 Physical Damage.
Why does it have such gigantic costs, when it does nothing special but a few jabs that ignore DEF, but in the end is just Matador food or Green Tunic FP leeching straw?
Now look at these FP costs from Asura Fist:
![[Image: f014445855c9445586312fdc184eaf75.png]](http://image.prntscr.com/image/f014445855c9445586312fdc184eaf75.png)
Damage is Weapon and Elemental ATK dependant, not a flat.
It gives 2 Schwarz Sturm points per use, can be double tapped for a free 4 Schwarz Sturm stacks if the enemy doesn't resist Dark.
Costs are minimal.
Ranged blast.
Magic damage.
Activates Nachbeben.
Damage increases a LOT the more stacks of Shwarz Sturm it has, which is easy to obtain due to the 'bonus' this has.
???
Can we have Regenshauer's base cost reduced by 10, and Asura Fist's base cost increased by 10? FP costs are also a method of ensuring balance, remember!

Create Shade FP cost |

Could the FP cost for resizing Create Shade be relaxed a little? It's not an attack spell hitting more targets, and it's even costless at 5 ranks.
Why does it suddenly go from 0 FP for placing illusory spectres at arm's length, to 20+ FP for placing illusory spectres around the battlefield?

When at max rank, Create Shade costs 0 FP.
However, despite it being a costless skill, increasing the size of the triangle shape still seems to add an FP cost! It doesn't seem intended for a costless skill to suddenly not be costless because you want to create your illusions a little farther apart than usual.
Isn't each increase in area size supposed to be a percentage increase in FP cost, anyway? Percentages of 0 are still 0.

Bai Kai prayer buff does not apply it's FP reduction to Invite Insanity and Aposemagika, despite those both being staple illusion spells for papilions, is it possible they could?

So, in a previous post,
"Neus"' Wrote:Time is a game mechanic and shouldn't really be dragged into this considering I've said several times it's okay to outright ignore the passage of it and trying to play it straight can be confusing for everyone involved.
Dev said this. However there's issues, all around, with such things. IC constraints are tied to time, in a lot of ways. Characters can get jailed for 2 IC years. What's to stop them from outright ignoring time and say "oh, 2 years passed in 3 seconds. ggwp".
We've had cases of characters who were... like just born. Able adults at the ripe old age of 15-17 a few ooc months later, whilst the parents have not aged a day, nor has the parents compatriots (who probably had a child around the same time, and is still like 2 years old ic).
I really hate to say this, but time really needs to be regulated. It's silly that it has to be, but stupid outliers are making everything weird and wonky for everyone involved. I'm not gonna say something like Eternia's aging system, but just.. some way to make time not be stupid for some people, and not for other.

Tales, Myths, and Stories
[Note, this is ALL considered in game, and there is a real character posting these. How true they are is unknown, and typically who writes them is completely unknown. This is posted for the enjoyment of others, and I hope people enjoy what they see. Updates will occur as often as can be done, and hopefully, I will be able to post many poems. Despite the note, you CAN remove posts on the board if you REALLY want to... just know it's been thought of ahead of time, and unless you are a guard (or headmaster of the academy) and have put a message for reasoning and whom you are, it will be replaced.]
Occasionally you may see a Masked Vagrant walk up behind the Notice Board, either in Cellsvich, or rarely, at the Academy in Tannis, and place a piece of paper onto the back of it. What you see from the behind of the Notice Board? Readable papers, some being old parchment, others being new, and some even being torn out journal pages. All sorts of different hand writing exists for each one.... as if these slips of paper came from all over, and were written by many people.
A rather obvious piece of people has been put up above the rest, perhaps you should read it?
Welcome to the back of the notice boards! What you will notice below is various literature from all over. Some may be true, others false, and some just to make you think. I do not post for any vendetta, and simply for the entertainment of others. I will post regularly, or someone may end up posting in my stead. Please refrain from removing anything posted unless you are a Guard. If you are a guard, please post a note of the removal, and why, so that way I do not put up a copy of the material due to expected miscreants.

Looking for public opinion on this idea. |

I know my walls of text can be annoying to some, so let me break it down point by point and make it fast.
- Human used to be a VA
- Was persuaded to give it up because of the dangers
- Eventually became an illusionist after corruption into a Papillion.
- Still has those 35 levels in VA.
- I realized, "Theoretically, the teleports and detogates could represent altered perception of the battlefield...."
If I decided to simply have him give the illusion of the void arts and only use them mechanically (ICly concealing his position before appearing behind them as if from a voidgate, making people think they're in a different place than they really are, as if Detogating, etc,) would people get butthurt about "godmodding ways to avoid void poisoning" like some people did with Blair? Or were those people outliers and this is generally not frowned too hard upon? I honestly need to ask since public opinion shifts over time and I haven't been back all that long after a long absence outside my control.
I mean, as is, the only mechanical representations of Illusion magic are three Spellthief spells and Papillion racials, so....

Long story short, I (and a few less notable others) use macros extensively.
There are two major issues with this:
First, the 'examine' verb we have access to seems to be a separate one from the player right click menu (it asks for text, instead of a mob), and as far as I could tell, it does nothing at all.
Can we have this (apparently) useless verb removed or renamed? If not, can we at least have the player examine verb renamed so it can be macro'd?
Second, ci-close-new doesn't work on all menus, requiring a .click Close for some things (character info) and manual closing for others (examine).
Can we have ci-close-new close all open interfaces? The ones I can recall staying open are the newer displays (character info, talents, examine, etc) and the quest log thing.

Chaotic Key |

After the recent change to where Chaotic Key can be placed, the menu type also seems to have been updated to the same system pvp requests use. Like pvp requests, the menu does not have layer priority over your inventory, so activating it from your inventory makes you unable to interact with the core consumption menu. Unlike pvp requests, the core consumption menu does not time out, so you have to log out to escape this lock. Doing -that- will spawn a BDP with no core, which is likely not what you wanted in the first place.
In case this is unclear, reproduce as follows:
1. Open your inventory.
2. Right click the Chaotic Key, then use it.
3. You can not interface with the menu, and are stuck until you relog staring at your inventory.
Given that this issue happens with everything involving these menus, I'd ask if it's possible for them to pop-up over inventory/character stats/laplace/etc, like the old windows used to.
EDIT: In the mean time, type use-item Chaotic-Key to get around this issue for now. Without the inventory blocking your screen, the key should function fine.
