Stamina Ideas |

Physical Stamina could be used when:
-crafting weapons/armor (probably take as much stamina as the difficulty level?)
-mining
-fishing (could maybe use Mental too, as someone who fishes)
-clearing Beast Marks (although it should probably be based off character level for consumption)
-carrying over capacity for too long (like -1 per 25 steps maybe? I dunno)
-being "Hungry" (completely empty food bar) for more than 3 hours (-2 per hour, perhaps? Wouldn't affect Doriad, Vampire, Lich, Mechanation, Dullahan. Could also see this affecting Mental, if you're constantly thinking about your next meal)
Mental Stamina could be used when:
-gambling (CLARIFICATION: Goes up when you win, down when you lose.)
-crafting Alchemy items/Enchanting (probably take as much stamina as the difficulty level?)
-initially entering a BDP ("Am I mentally prepared to face all this weird shit?" probably about BDP lvl/10 consumption)
-gathering from Alchemy nodes. As suggested by Sarinpa1, because it would be a "spot and tell apart" thing.
-carrying lots of Murai. Maybe regen an extra +1 per 10,000 murai you carry (since apparently it's sooo easy to get Murai. I just have a hole in my pocket.)
-losing a fight (PVE only for now) since you also lose some murai and maybe items
I could see some of these idea spawning new item effects for new and current items (the cloak that prevents Fear at a certain percent could reduce Mental drain when entering BDPs, different fishing rods and baits affecting Physical drain, better pickaxe less Physical drain, etc), as well as effects for new and current races (Chata/Imperial humans less Physical drain for armor and weapons, Tannis human less drain for bows, Lispool/Karaten humans/Elves less drain for Alchemy/Enchanting, Onigan less drain from gambling, Kaelensian less drain from clearing Beast Marks, Shaitan less drain from BDP, etc).
More ideas welcome, of course.

E
-open/close unlocked dungeon doors.
-start/stop clearing up Beast Marks.
-should allow collection from outside (non-dungeon) nodes. It currently does not.
-act as View Info in battle. Like giving a list of enemies and allies to double click, to check statuses and HP/FP.
-open up the craft menu of whatever craft object (Alchemy Table, Anvil, etc) you are currently facing.
Shift E
-attempt to unlock dungeon doors.
Ctrl E
-attempt to bash locked dungeon doors.
Q
-open Quest Log. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
C
-open Character Info. I thought that was a thing already, but apparently not. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
Y
-open Youkai info panel. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
P
-open Preferences panel.
L (linking these three to L because Level Up.)
-open Class Board. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
Shift L
-open Talents Board. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.
Ctrl L
-open Traits Board. Should be able to close it with X like other windows, if that's an option.

I remember shortly after the E, Shift E, and Ctrl E shortcuts got added, they worked for dungeons in unlocking and opening doors, and chests. And now they only work on player home doors, and gathering from in-dungeon nodes.

Resistable Unresistable Fire Damage |

I've recently been working with the insulated burning bracer, which imparts +5 Unresistable Fire damage to all fist melee attacks, as it is said in its description. However, I've noticed several instances where this is not the case, such as...
Quote:Critical Hit! Onigan Ascetic attacks Sand Shark with the power of her fists and hits them!
Sand Shark takes 105 Blunt damage.
Resist! Sand Shark takes 2 Fire damage.
and
Quote:Onigan Ascetic attacks Soldier Kraboid with the power of her fists and hits them!
Soldier Kraboid takes 26 Blunt damage.
Soldier Kraboid takes 2 Fire damage.
and
Quote:Forgery attacks Onigan Ascetic with Heavy Ring and misses them!
Critical Hit! Onigan Ascetic attacks Forgery with Bare Fists and hits them!
Forgery takes 1 Blunt damage.
Forgery absorbs Fire damage!
Forgery recovered 5 HP.
Forgery takes 6 Blunt damage.
Although, I realize Unresistable doesn't technically mean Unabsorbable, I just figured I'd make a note of it anyway, For creatures that don't have +Fire resistance, it always does the full 5, otherwise it is lowered. No, it is not the material of my fist weapon being used, which is coral.

Weak Legs |

Simply put, Strong Legs doesn't work. At all. At least when used on yourself--I've yet to test it on another person, but I also had Longterm Care, and it also did nothing to help.
In this case, I was trying to cure Fear.

Hexes |

Hexes don't apply properly if you didn't apply the status yourself, instead, the target is choosable, and when selected with the appropriate hex, your momentum is taken, your fp is taken, and the move does -nothing-.
I'm assuming it's meant to proc the hex, yes?

Fallcall |

It's pretty damn strong.
Most multipliers happen before defense and resistance, yes, but they also only last for one attack. Fallcall is like making all of your attacks (Even non-basic autohits) Excel-tier.
I think that even Hunted and Marked for Death apply after defensive stats, as they apply for multiple attacks.
So I suggest to decrease Fallcall's effectiveness to 1.5x damage, and/or make it apply after defenses. It already adds +10 to all stats, so I don't think that this will make it too weak to use.

[Bonder] A toggled tweak for Bonders. |

If you have a single bonded Youkai, Ritual Sword automatically summons it. This is both amazing and terrible all at once. You get two actions for the price of one, basically... but... sometimes you just want to use Ritual Sword for FP management, and then you get hit with the youkai upkeep cost.
Or, we can look at Shared Pain/ Shared Joy. Your Youkai are lower levelled than you and you don't want them to share your damage? Your youkai are sturdier than you, and only you need the heals?
In all of these circumstances, unsummoning them costs precious momentum, and is not always an option.
Basically, I'm proposing a toggle on if Youkai count as bonded or not. It would disable all bonding benefits, such as Shared Pain/Joy, Fight As One, Synchro Summon, and completely disable Riagri until re-enabled. The toggle can be placed at the top of the Youkai menu and be bundled together with the Bonding/Level innate from the skill tree.

Icon Face States Guide |

So you want to have more than one emotion, or maybe a cleaner version of the one you do have? Here's a something I threw together!
Step One - Pick Face(s)
So you've found a profile picture. Neat!
Kinda too big to use as a face state though, isn't it? How about we size it down using a zoom feature, either in our browser or image viewer of choice.
Better. Now to make sure it fits to size aspect of 16x16, 32x32, 96x96, or 128x128. As long as it is perfectly square, it should look good.
96x96
If you are going to be using more than one face state, you would make more in this same manner.
Step Two - Creating a .DMI file
Did you know that downloading BYOND gave you the Dreammaker tool as well? This tool is what can be used to make icons and in our case, face states!
The default location for this software is: C rogram Files (x86)BYONDin
Default location for BYOND and related software.
Open that up, click File, New Environment, and choose a name. Then, click the dropdown arrow and choose to make a .dmi file.
Making a .dmi file.
From there, you should see something like this:
If you have your square face image saved, you can right click in the large white area on the right side, and click Import to insert the image. If you plan on making your own face icon, you can click the paint palette next to the camcorder icon to begin drawing. If you Import, you can double click on your image to make further edits. Check Step Three for info on how to add transparency in Dreammaker.
Image added to .dmi file. Double click slightly below the image to rename the face state, for easy change access.
Simply add as many face states as the game allows in this manner, and it will be the most efficient way to use your upload space and allow quick face state change if you add more to the file!
Step Three - Adding Transparency
I guess that white space behind our head is kinda unsightly in the chat, huh? There's an easy fix for this! Simply double click as if to edit your image, slide the Alpha bar (all the way on the right) to the bottom (zero), and choose the Flood tool, then click the background colour you wish to remove. Once done, click the arrow in the bottom right, and it will save your changes and take you back to the overall view of the .dmi file.
Preview 96x96 without white background.
Conclusion and Advanced Tools
So that's the quick and easy way to do this, but there are also other kind of editors you can use if you wish to edit images or remove/change backgrounds. My personal favourite is the Pixlr Photo Editor, because I have no money, and it's an online tool, so no download required. I hear GIMP is pretty good, too. Also free I believe, but requires download. And if you're lucky enough to have Photoshop, good on you! However, remember only .png files (to my knowledge) can keep transparency when saved.
If you have any questions, leave 'em below, and I'm sure myself or someone else better than me can answer!

Facestates, how do they work? |

Idk if this goes here but it's worth a shot
I've seen people switch the state of their faceicon to convey different character emotions or some sort, i also know how to change it, but the problem is, idk how to set one up
I got a full set of faceicons drawn in different states but i don't know how to add more than just the default one
I tried searching around but i either am searching wrong or it just hasn't been asked
It'd really help me with rp stuff if i can physically show emotion a bit better
