[BUG] Jiisan's Trap Card |

Acquiring one or multiple medals from Medaru Jiisan in Oniga apparently forces a freeze on you. Relogging fixes this, but using the near-automatic .reconnect method gives you a blackscreen. What a conniving, sniveling old man.

A special type of Hell |

[headline=2]Overview[/headline]Across the world of Sigrogana, stories of some sort of underworld or afterlife are not particularly uncommon. This is merely one of those stories.
Located spiritually adjacent to the Human Realm (Sigrogana), the Demon Realm (Hell) is somewhat similar to the Youkai Realm (Astral Plane) in that it cannot normally be reached, at least not in the traditional sense. With tighter security and dangerous corporeal inhabitants, passage in and out of Hell is not only exceedingly rare, but also exceptionally dangerous. Information is scarce, but whether it's due to these reasons or a result of something else entirely is unknown.
[headline=2]Inhabitants[/headline]The Human Realm is controlled by Humans, the Youkai Realm is controlled by Youkai, and the Demon Realm is no different when it comes to this.
[headline=4]Demons[/headline]The 'normal' inhabitants of Hell. Similar in appearance to Humans, though with distinct differences. Their social system is similar to ours, but it possesses greater extremes on both ends. Note that most of these 'types' are simply observable differences between Demons, not necessarily a different 'species' or what-have-you.
[headline=5]Brutes[/headline]The most common Demon sub-type. They often have thick, powerful horns, like those of a ram. Their limbs are hardened into what can best be described as pillars, growing to cover their back as well given enough time to age. Their physical strength is enormous, and their bodies are tough, though they are often slow-moving.
[headline=5]Speed Demons[/headline]Another common sub-type. Their horns are usually thin and pointed, more suitable for impalement than bashing. Their limbs are hardened into a lightweight material, and tend to have blades jutting out. Their physical strength is average, but they possess immense speed. Their bodies are resistant compared to Humans.
[headline=5]Crossroads Demons[/headline]An uncommon sub-type. They often lack horns, or simply have small pointed nubs instead. Their arms are identical to Human arms, though they still possess the standard hooves most Demons have. These are the Demons most commonly encountered, as they make various contracts with Humans in exchange for their souls.
[headline=5]Succubi and Incubi[/headline]It is commonly said that no creature, Human or Demon, can resist these beings. Described as being overwhelmingly beautiful, highly manipulative, and great in bed.
[headline=4]Devils[/headline]Immensely powerful Demons, it is said that one Devil could conquer the Human Realm within days. Information on them is scarce, as few Demons claim to have ever seen a Devil in person. Though there is no concrete proof they exist, nearly all Demons seem to be assured of their presence and power, and they fear them greatly.
[headline=4]Fiends[/headline]Not actually Demons in the traditional sense, simply powerful mindless beasts that roam the outer circles. They have no specific appearance, though most have at least two mouths and dangerously sharp claws or talons. They often travel in packs, where fights over leadership are common and generally end in cannibalism.
[headline=2]Geography[/headline]Hell is a... dark place, for lack of a better term. It is a place of corruption and conflict, death and deceit. As some may know, it is divided into nine sections, though there are common misconceptions about these 'circles'. The inner sections are inhabited by the 'upper class', while the outer sections are little more than wastelands.
[headline=4]Sections[/headline]
[headline=5]Section One: Ostium[/headline]The center section. A place where souls are judged by an enormous serpent.
[headline=5]Section Two: Lupanar[/headline]A half-circle around Ostium. A place where Incubi and Succubi reside in depravity.
[headline=5]Section Three: Caupona[/headline]Another half-circle. A guarded place, reserved for only the most renowned Demons.
[headline=5]Section Four: Forum[/headline]The third circle, a place of commerce. Souls and lives are traded for many things here.
[headline=5]Section Five: Colosseum[/headline]A half-circle, a place of fighting. Confident Demons engage Fiends in combat for sport.
[headline=5]Section Six: Puteus[/headline]Another half-circle, another place of fighting. Demons combat each other here, often fatally.
[headline=5]Section Seven: Acies[/headline]The fourth circle, a torn place of war. Groups clash in a never-ending struggle for dominance.
[headline=5]Section Eight: Eremus[/headline]The fifth circle, dotted by ruins. Fiends are very common here. Few, if any, choose their place here.
[headline=5]Section Nine: Carcer[/headline]The final circle, a stone wall. Fiends originate here. Few have managed to scale it, and none have returned.
[headline=5]Nothing written here should be taken as fact.[/headline]
This is a work in progress.

Kicking with Accelia boots on, while having Charge Weapon levels, causes the kick to do absolutely nothing.
No damage, no knockback, not even a message displayed.

The Dragon King Set |

So, with the recent addition of another item to the set (which still just adds +5% strength) I feel like at least it could use an adjustment to be made viable whatsoever.
Even if not to the set itself, the item in question (which I do not have to give specifics), /only/ acts as a part of the set, thus only gives +5% strength. It seems good until you realize that for every 20 STR you have, you get 1 STR. Meaning that in order to gain a benefit greater than the items we already have that do that, you'd need 100 STR (and to make it comparable/useful at all, you'd need 80.)
Maybe a bigger bonus for having more pieces of the set beyond +5% str each?

Upgrading guns: Shotgun failure. |

I tried to upgrade my shotguns after seeing the new update and instantly hit a bug. Like all weapons that can be upgraded, you have the ability to upgrade the power. However, I have maxed out the upgrade of multi shotguns and they haven't added the power to the base power. As seen in Figure A and B
Figure A: Maxed out Shotgun with base 8 (because galdric reduces power by 2)
http://gyazo.com/4b7d8957df7d83f74d903afbb2dc8589
Figure B: Evidence of the maxed out shotgun
http://gyazo.com/7227346b8f2055e3e213e1fec1caf79f
I have tested this on multiple shotguns and it has produced the same result. In addition to this, I have had word that snipers also aren't applying the power to it, so this may be an issue for one shot guns because the power adds to autopistols just fine.

The Jackhammer only targets 1 enemy within the AoE. This sucks. Also, even if it did work properly it would probably not apply 'on hit' effects to all targets even if it's a single target. That should definitely work.

[float=left] [/float] Another week, another update.
One of the things I see constantly on the suggestions forum is the ability to gather resources from outside of dungeons, but one thing that always held me back from doing so is that, unless those resources are limited in some way, they become overabundant. But if they're limited, some jerk might just go around and collect everything by themself before anyone else has a chance to do so, which isn't nice or fun. So after thinking about it for a while, I decided we might as well add a new resource system to help counter-act such a problem. Which leads us to two new 'stats'; Physical Stamina and Mental Stamina.
These two are resources. As of this update, only one is ever affected; Physical Stamina is drained when you use the new woodcutting axes. Yes, you can now chop down all those lovely trees you see for wood, and get wood depending on the type of tree, as long as you have the stamina, and an axe. I like this solution because it doubles as a roleplaying system, in a way. You'll get tired, and have to take a break, maybe eat a meal, before you can get back to work. Trees won't be immediately chopped down; they can be gathered from so many times until they're reduced to a stump. That stump will regrow eventually, about 12 in-game hours later. I wouldn't think about it too much, honestly.
I imagine these stats could be ported to a number of other in-game activites, like cleaning up the battle scars of a Black Beast attack. If you have any ideas for current or new things to consume this stamina, feel free to post them.
1.18
New Equipment Items - 10 new items have been added to the loot table. - Rarities of new items are 6 to 9.
Stamina System - Added two new resource statistics; Physical Stamina and Mental Stamina.- These are represented by a green and blue circle on the character bar. The more full the circle is, the more you have available.
- The maximum values of these are equal to your base VIT and base WIL respectively.
- Both recover every hour and when you eat a meal. The amount recovered of each depends on the food's HP Regen and FP Regen respectively.
Woodcutting - You can now craft woodcutting axes at forges. You can use these axes when facing most trees to gather wood from them. Axes have a certain 'swing speed' and durability that will cause them to break after so many uses. (Note that you can't cut down some trees, usually those in towns.)- Cutting down a tree requires a woodcutting axe and physical stamina.
- After cutting at the tree for a short time, you will collect wood depending on the type of tree it is.
- Collecting enough wood from a tree will cause it to be chopped down. While in this state, you can't gather wood from it. Chopped down trees will reappear over time.
Gun Upgrading - You can now upgrade guns at blacksmiths. The Power upgrade of guns applies uniquely; it will spread over multiple rounds, similar to the damage received from your SKI stat.
New Preference Setting - You can now select 'Smart' as an option for Mouse Click Movement. While in this mode, the game will not attempt to move you if you have windows such as character or inventory screens open.
New Trait - 1 new trait has been added; Maneuver: Ambidexterity lets you choose which weapon (main or sub) you will use for various skills, as long as both weapons are valid for that skill.
Bonder Medals - Bonder medals have been added. If you fulfill the conditions for the medals already, talk to Medaru Jiisan in Oniga.
Item Description Improvements - A variety of things about the item description window have been improved.
- The window is now a little taller, making it easier to see certain tooltips.
- Attack range for weapons is now displayed.
- Weapon 'Damage Type' parameter can now be hovered over to show the original damage type, and it now correctly displays the weapon's current damage type (IE, if the weapon's damage type changed due to weapon customization parts.)
- Armor 'Weight' parameter can be hovered over for a breakdown of the Base and Mod, as with weapons.
- Gun 'Rounds' paramtere can be hovered over for a break down of the Base and Mod, like other weapon parameters.
- Set Item names can be hovered over for a breakdown of what the set will do when enough items of that set are equipped.
- Weapon-type information (such as About Guns, etc.) is now stored in a more flexible manner.
- Updated the weapon-type information for guns to include how they interact with your SKI stat and Power upgrades.
- Added weapon-type information for bows that includes how their Hit is reduced in melee range.
- Added weapon-type information for daggers to show they can be equipped by all classes.
Trade & Inventory Improvements - Several things have been added or changed to these in order to improve player experience.
- Removed redundant updating of the item list when adding or removing items to the Trade Box.
- Better item sorting for several categories. (Example; Keys are now in the Home category.)
- Added filter buttons to the trade window to help navigate large inventories.
Status Effect Icons - Added a baker's dozen or so new status effect icons to the game, courtesy of Ryu-Kazuki.
Tome Icons - Added new icons for Flamberg, Zeroraid, Fullgust, and Blacksand tomes, courtesy of Cecil.
Adjusted - Yomidori's effect on Hit is now displayed in the attack forecast.
Adjusted - Multifront and Widespin now display an attack forecast for each target it will hit. In addition, Widespin will properly display its Hit penalty in the Attack Forecast.
Adjusted - The following status effects now stack on an individual-causer basis, due to the nature of their effects;- Hunted
- Marked For Death
- Magnetized
- Charm
- Auto-Hit (Soul Shot)
- Covering Fire
Adjusted - Face-icons displayed in the player bar are now wrapped in the portrait border to make them look prettier.
Adjusted - Redundant recovery messages when an item is used have been removed, since that information is displayed automatically now.
Adjusted - Divine weapon enchantment effect changed to +2 Power, +5 Critical, +5 Accuracy, -2 Weight. (If existing weapons are not affected by this change, please post a bug report after you have made absolutely sure.)
Adjusted - Arena Combatants now use Gravestone only if they aren't within effect range of another one, and only if it's been 2 or more rounds since their last use.
Adjusted - Weapon selection for skills has been changed to a more consistent process; if the main weapon fits the criteria, it will be always be used. Otherwise, the sub-weapon will, if it fits the criteria. So in instances where you are wielding the same weapon type in each hand, put the weapon you want to be used for skills in the main hand.
Adjusted - Restored the game's program icon. It probably also looks nicer on Windows 7 than before.
Adjusted - Toggle skills can now be put into the battle bar; activating turns them on and off, as you'd expect.
Adjusted - Wraithguard now reduces damage by 30% (from 50%).
Adjusted - Painproof's HP cost has been reduced to 15% (from 25%).

Now, get this. When a player is charmed, they can still attack their charmers just fine.
I didn't test this in all situations. However, I did test it:
Against an Alraune, with Attack, Special Attack 1, and Sub-Attack. I think I may have used skills as well at one point. But, I was certain I was charmed.
This may happen in more situations, but in case this happens again to someone else, they can be sure to post it here.
