  Whispering Blink

Whispering Cant is a nice addition to Mage's line and gives it something to do in the events that the dreadful silence status effect. I think it was a healthy change for any casters out there, with the exception of one spell it also affects.

That spell is Blink.

At rank 5, the spell allows you to move 8 spaces from your current position, ignoring any and all movement-based debuff and root, including Frozen and Immobilize. This on its own was not an issue in the past, but with the addition of Whispering Cant, mages have become impossible to pin down without hard CC.

It becomes particularly oppressive when combined with Martial Artist or Duelist, which are very attractive choices to pair with Mage in the current meta. Not even the increased FP cost does anything to deter people from spamming it, increasing it to a whopping 6 FP at max rank, while silenced.

In short, it gives the mage too much mobility for no drawback, especially when combined with the more mobile classes of the game-- it becomes impossible to slow down under any circumstance.

So, here are some solutions I thought of:

1) Remove Blink from Whispering Cant's pool of spells: This is the one I want to suggest, myself. It removes the only real issue with the passive, which is Blink itself.

2) Make Whispering Cant main-class-only: This is an alternative to the above, and would force people to choose between increased mobility for damage reduction, or straight up damage. While I don't particularly want this option implemented, I do think it would be healthy to have more forced choices for the current situation of the PvP-scene.

3) Enforce a different penalty for the spell when silenced: This can be any number of added restrictions. Halved range, chance of failure, random chance to appear somewhere else in the blink-range instead of where you targeted. I've only so many ideas for what this could be, and others are more than welcome to think of some if they have the time.

At the end of the day, it's a very, very powerful mobility option. A little too powerful, in my opinion. Others are free to provide their own inputs as usual, but please keep it on-topic.

This is more of a request to Dev than anything, but might it be possible to compile all the fonts that SL2 can support into a list of some sort? If not, perhaps should I have the time to I'll make a page on the wiki and people can contribute there.

(I do know that there are some fonts that do work, if you have it installed, but won't show up on other player's PCs which might make things difficult.)

Under Knowledge; have 4 extra skill points for each class[basically one class gets 40 or 55 total points] - HOWEVER you can only have those points on one class at a time and it'll overwrite said points if you go to choose another.

It could be called "Specialist: Class Name"

In short using Frozen Fear a second time or more instead of moving the floating ice it creates another which glitches out the skill. You can only use the first one, but the last created will always have the spell casted from it but you can't move the target tile(s) at all.

It's been a common complaint now, that I wholeheartedly agree.

The Mage offensive spell, Rectifier's sound effect is way, way too loud to the point it has the capacity of overlapping even the battle BGM sometimes.

Could the sound effect's brain-grinding noise volume be reduced by 50%~75% to fix this?

As the title suggests, it seems that wild ride is doing 100% damage per shot instead of the intended 25% SWA version. Can't be sure if it applies to all weapons but it's happened consistently while using my crazy coyote. I'm also not using any additional modifiers like spirits for the skill or anything like that if it helps any.

Diary Entry 1 - 12/30/344

Well..Certainly has been a rather productive year for I suppose. With Rabbit taking a break to look after Lise, im free to explore the regions again. My travels bring me to the Kysei mountains, The Loyrwell Tombs to be exact. The place gives off the Erie feeling but that's something I've learned to get used to it, i've seen alot of the imperial residents swing by this place to uncover its mysteries even going so far as to fight a Necromancer. Yeah a Necromancer, Crazy right? A sense of satisfaction just looms over me watching these people take them on with it's minon keeping them busy while it prepares a persons downfall. There are alot of people that come here that are successful going so far as to return again just to fight them for fun or for its staff, which mind you is pretty deadly to say the least. I mean who wouldn't want to curse your foes all the time. Others not so lucky but accept their defeat and still come back to try again.

As much as I'd hate to admit such a fact the tombs feel more like home to me, given I spend most of my time here even going as far as to fight this necormancer myself of course not alone. During the off times it makes for quite the good thinking spot. Hell maybe even might make diving into this place my hobby or something. I should return to oniga one day to see the rabbit so they know im not dead but do I really want to right now....? Learning more about this place is more fitting for me to do right now.

P.S: This magic circle is no joke, which is what makes it more interesting. Meanwhile people still going at it...

It seems that Akimbo will not fire off the extra round of a single shot handgun, like the one JUST introduced. (The Bell of no Rest.)

Before this patch it wasn't an issue as we did not have any 1 round handguns, but now that we do I feel like Akimbo should have at least 1 round minimum so that it doesn't round down eligible 1 round handguns in the future to 0 rounds.

Method I used to reproduce:

1) Obtain any 1 handgun, and The Bell of No Rest.
2) Basic attack with handgun, The Bell of No Rest will fire off no rounds from Akimbo.

I felt as if though this may have been an oversight but if it isn't a bug please let me know.

Is it possible for winged races such as Corbies/Hyattr/Phenex to be able to bypass the need to have Jump in order to leap up and down cliffs? I thought it might be a nice touch.
