  [v2.09] Ghost Loot
Posted by: Chaos - 09-12-2019, 05:01 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (2)

Items received via the static Chests from the Loyrwell Tombs ('Above ground', not within the Crypt) do not seem to count towards crafting recipes, upgrades, certain events, etc. Additionally, these items do not stack with their normally-gained counterparts.

Within the spoiler is the list of items that aren't counted/don't stack normally, and which mechanics they aren't applying towards:

-Raremetal Shards (Does not count towards Equipment Upgrades)
-Chimeric Mass (Eyes gained from Mass do not count towards Potential Unlocks and Crafting Recipes)
-Black Pearls (Does not count towards Crafting Recipes)
-Dark Shards (Does not count towards accessing the 'Boss' of Loyrwell Tombs)

Very small thing to request here. Those three costing 3M is no bueno and I often can't find any rooms to use them, it breaks the flow of the Bonder too much, and the damage it does is not as good, ending up being sub-40~ most of the time due to being a raw stat not ignoring defenses.

The damage doesn't really matter much, as of its usability, so:

Could all 'Conduct' skills cost 0M, and have the cost increased by 1M per summoned Bonded Youkai?

Alternatively, 'Conduct' skills cost 0M if you only have one Bonded Youkai.

  [v2.09] Insane Power
Posted by: Autumn - 09-10-2019, 05:29 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Ignite power from Firebird seems to apply to multi-hit basic attacks to a staggeringly effective extent (Up to 40+ damage per shot), so much so its practically game breaking when paired with even any multi round gun, let alone something like a Quickdraw and autopistol combo

This did not seem at all intended to work this way with guns at the very least, and should probably not apply to guns or split across rounds.

Competitive internships: On the hospital and other things for EXP
Posted by: FaeLenx - 09-08-2019, 07:11 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (1)

Right now, there are a few easy ways to level up for the people who are going onto their fourteenth LE and really are tired of the grind. Cleaning up after black beasts, hitting up the fishing contest, and taking time in the hospital to check on door signs and cure colds and leave parasite patients to die.

That third one is probably the most commonly used one for people doing the full 13 or so LEs to get pretty much everything someone needs to be done with it. It can get you from 55 to 60 rather fast. Which is great. This game can get overly grind heavy and those last few levels are the most profitable for those who care about it but also the longest for those that just want it over.

My suggestion here is that we just add more opportunities for this kind of EXP just so the hospital isn't so crowded on some days. Filling in holes, lockpicking, exorcising spirits, eating food, and curing wounds on players all offer paltry, pointless amounts of experience that could be raised. And farming is a seldom used mechanic that could be made to give a small sum of experience that could be macroed into a large farm to be a viable but time intensive leveling mechanic. Training fights could take less than 50 physical stamina so you could do more of them.

The dungeons are only fun for so long, but this game has more to offer than that. Running a lantern bearer just to go from Legend Extension 2 to 15 until you go back to a PVP build for your 16th doesn't provide much to engage with.

  Greyshoulder's Journal
Posted by: BlackLynx3 - 09-07-2019, 04:17 PM - Forum: Adventure Log - Replies (5)

This book is usually somewhere deep within the magical pockets of a certain adventurer or somewhere in her house. It is a black book, with a crimson seal, purple rune-like letters titled "Journal" in a dialect, and has her name written in crimson near the bottom of the front cover. The back cover has what appears to be a drawing of a portal, and the first page a photograph of her and Aria, a childhood friend.

(NOTE: The information inside catalogued is generally not known ICly besides those it is shared with or in the event of her permanent death.)

  Zzz... Bubble
Posted by: Kameron8 - 09-06-2019, 07:46 AM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (4)

I suggest a floating bubble command like 'Sing', 'dotdotdot', 'exclaim', 'question', and 'zawa' that has Zzz... roll by instead. The legendary 'sleep'.

Please, someone, icon this fundamental piece of the game that's missing.

  Guard Break vs. Eviter/Stalemate
Posted by: Kameron8 - 09-05-2019, 12:56 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (2)

After digging through history, I found an applicable thread on the topic of Guard Break bypassing Eviter, which I had asked about earlier today.

That thread is here: https://www.neus-projects.net/viewtopic....391#p35391

The basic attack for Gigantys alone was the only thing changed to bypass these parry effects. This is confusing since no official patch notes mention this change (that I can see), and the response in the thread itself suggests it should be more universally applied.

Until otherwise told this isn't a bug, I'll just wrap up with this: Skills and attacks that inflict Guard Break do not ignore Eviter or Stalemate, such as Lance de Lion.

A couple of speaking based Traits
Posted by: noblekame - 09-03-2019, 08:33 PM - Forum: Suggestions - Replies (2)

So, I've recently ran in to another quiet person, and thought to myself; "Wow, be pretty awesome if I could just read their lips and see what they're saying." Then it hit me, why don't we just make that a trait! So as follows here is my idea.

Quote:Read lips: Requires 20 Base Skill: You are able to read someone's lips just as well as you could hear someone speak normally. Should you be unable to hear someone, you instead read their lips and gauge what they are saying instead.

This would apply to things such as 'Quiet Person', 'Whisper', and 'Ruptured ear' for terms of being able to hear someone instead of getting everyone's favorite. "says something but mumbles too quietly to hear."

However, there is one problem with that. What if you're trying to keep your conversation hushed?

Quote:Covered Mouth: You're not fond of people reading your conversations from a distance. When you attempt to whisper you cover your mouth so your words are not read from afar.

Just like that, your secret conversations are kept secret still. That is unless you're unaware you're conversations are being read on your lips, via lack of the trait. In a way these are traits that would fit the rumor-mill characters quite well in being able to pick up some tasty gossip.

This is open to thoughts and extended ideas. We have quiet person and loud person. So why don't we make a few more traits that influence the way characters communicate.

Hide and Seek ft. Furniture Salesman
Posted by: TheCommonNoob - 09-03-2019, 11:11 AM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (2)

It seems the bug has come back around once more as the Furniture Salesman don't appear sometimes even after reboot happens. I've watched and followed this happening to Cellsvich, Tannis and Dormeho. Before and after reboot.

  Lore Questions: Septemberish (2019)
Posted by: Neus - 09-02-2019, 05:03 PM - Forum: Lore Questions - Replies (22)

This is a new topic for Lore Questions because the old one was about 26 pages. (No, I will never stop copying this part.) The format is roughly the same, but some guidelines;

1) Try and format your questions appropriately. As in, make it easy to read and answer.
2) Try and limit the number of questions you ask per thread. I don't mind answering them, but don't get crazy and ask me 20 things, especially if they require detailed answers.
3) Try to avoid asking extremely specific questions, such as 'Did anyone ever die of food poisoning in Cellsvich?'. Answering these is difficult, because not everything is set in stone, so giving a definitive answer on it not only restricts me in the future, but it might influence other players' character concepts that involve it.

That said, if you have any questions, you can post them in this thread! I will post answers at the end of the month/start of the next one.

Thanks! (And yes, if you had questions from the previous topic that I didn't answer before I closed it, you can post them here, but remember the formatting guideline.)
