  An issue with mages

An issue thats been present lately is the rise of mages being pretty dominant lately, but I don't think this is an issue with Mage's balance itself, but rather the lack of anti magic tools in the game other than silence..

Heron feather has solved a lot of issues with silence, and I personally think that any mage SHOULD be able to fight against silence, that said I think that anti mage tools need to be put back into circulation, mostly in forms of mitigating their damage, especially the bursty kinds really.

Here are a few suggestions I can add:

-Buffing Voidveil, I think that now that its a main class requirement, this can be bumped back to 30% damage reduction vs magic, Evasion never was the issue here.

-Invocation's "Words of Power" sub-talent should be nerfed to reducing the chance an invocation breaks by 50% at max rank instead of 100%, this would give more windows of opportunity to people who want to fight against a vydel being invoked across the map, and give purpose to Priest's Devocation again.

-Charge Mind should be given a 3-5 round cooldown, it lasts 5 rounds with maxed out brainstorm so if someone doesn't approach an evoker with CM up for that long, the Evoker can just reapply it, its like the old wraithguard (but costs 6m), where in that there's no window of opportunity to approach an evoker who can kite and control the map.

-In Tandemn with this, I think that HSDW should be a main class skill.

Those are just the skill changes, I can add a couple more things I think should be introduced into the game as well.
-Maybe a Torso Piece item that reduces the effectiveness of AoE damage on yourself by 15-20%

-A shoe slot item that reduces magic damage taken by 10%, similar to Ogata Waraji it should have an armor requirement like unarmored.

Time to finish this fight once and for all, deus vult.

I've made Skill Icons for racial skills who love to confuse us when put on the skill bar for quick casting, such as Vampire's Silvermists, Banquet, Lunar Lunatism, etc. And of course, a bonus! Kensei's two lacking passive innates, Yomidori and Peerless, the only two remaining icons that are missing in the whole skill tree.

Have fun adding them, boss.

Black knight has a lot of issues right now, mainly in that its only function is as a pretty godlike support class for a good portion of characters, but since heavy armor holds a lot of downsides, most black knights are often seen using unarmored instead, and abusing crit evade granted by negation and hanging's range and hit bonus.

I think that heavy armor should be a core feature for the class, I think that a few adjustments should be made to some of their skills to make it more suited to people wanting to actually play heavily armored doom walls clad in steel.


Indomitable - DR granted increased by 50% if main classed Black Knight (at rank 5 it becomes 15% phys DR)

Prophlaxys/Sudden Death - Your Armor is added to damage threshold for proccing the skill's effect.

Checkmate - Adds armor amount to damage as well.

Negation - Effect changed to rank*5 crit evade, armor is now added to crit evade amount.

I think these weapons are really unique, the Tome/Weapon line like the Rexys/Grandovyn and Forgrint.

Is it possible to add similar weapon types for every other? Because they do not get weapon parts or materials, they can never hit ridiculous levels of weapon power, therefore I think the scaling for them is fine staying at 120% total, that and they require 1m to form shift to the other type of weapon.

I was thinking they would look something like..


Tome/Fist

60% STR
60% WIL

Potential:

Flaming Uppercut - Targets the tile directly in front of you, and deals physical fire damage to an enemy, you are sent airborne afterwards.

Tome/Gun

60% SKI
50% WIL

Potential:
Blue Bullet - Fires a bullet within 7 range that deals FP damage instead of HP Damage.


Tome/Dagger

60% GUI
60% WIL

Potential:
Wormhole Dagger - Throws a dagger in a 7 range line, dealing magic damage, additionally you and your target will switch positions.


Tome/Bow

40% STR
40% SKI
40% WIL

Potential:
Spirit Arrow - Targets a line across the entire map, piercing all enemies in the line, compatible with elemental arrows


Fire Arrows: Leaves Cinders equal to 25% of user's fire ATK for 3 rounds
Gust Arrows: Leaves air shafts for 3 rounds
Ice Arrows: Leaves ice tiles for 3 rounds.
Stone Arrows: The arrow stops at the first enemy hit, but gains 5 damage per tile traveled.


The potentials are mostly just ideas to pitch in, if you have anything better in mind then that'd be wonderful.

When you add text to new pages in your description, it adds a new page as intended. However, you can't remove all the text you added, only replace it with a space or some such. This forces you to have empty or meaningless pages in your description, or forces you to add more when you really have no need to do so.

Could we have a way to remove pages we no longer want? Or at least a way to remove all the text without having to replace it with something, assuming this will remove the page?

Could there be a way to retrieve all furniture that was placed in a house other than just grabbing them one by one? Preferably on a floor to floor basis. When you need to redesign a heavily decorated house it can be... Exhausting to deal with, to say the least.

A collect all button of some kind. Or clear all. Something.

CHIMERA STYLE Reduces M cost by ONE when you use a offensive skill from a style different then yours

Yes litterly ONE CHANGE could fix Verglas making them focus on chaining their attacks like in a fighting game yes they still have abysmally high FP costs
Can you imagine how fun it would be to find Verglas combo's which skills lead into other skills naturally learning how to use icetiles to control positioning and knockback


Other Suggestions.
give them better ways to inflict frostbite
Remove the ice javelin skill's requirements for being under ice point guard (we can summon ice and shit why do we need ice to make more ice?)
MAYBE give chimera style +1 power as well (stacking per shifted style) to make up for high fp costs

Oof. It has been an year since I've made the other thread and it was utterly cast aside due to the current things the game needed, so new january, new thread in honor for our Kinu/Dante fans. Let's get the yearly Dev pestering done with, aye?

Demon Hunter is underpowered as a class. Most of its gimmickey utility was nerfed or revamped in some way. The class needs a review itself, and maybe new features. The problem of it only comes because Soldier, as a class, offers them nothing to back up their power, unlike let's say, Spellthieves, who have bonuses to Evade/Evasion from Rogue, and even further with their ability to snatch spells and overbuff themselves.

I don't quite want to bicker much about it because the problems are pretty apparent when you play it in the game atleast once, against any other enemy setup, and you get a bad time even against NPCs. And what I think it could solve the problem is adjusting the stances to give statistics to back up what they needed, status wise, like this:

Reaver Stance - While active, grants the Demon Hunter (10 * Rank) Hit against enemies within 1 range.

Cobra Stance - While active, grants the Demon Hunter (10 * Rank) Evade against enemies who are slower than you.

Desperado Stance - While active, grants the Demon Hunter (10 * Rank) Critical against enemies beyond 1 range.

Matador Stance - While active, grants the Demon Hunter damage reduction, based on the HP difference between you and your attacker. (1% per 2% HP difference, max. 5 * Rank%)**

**Example/Explanation:

If your attacker has 100% of their HP while attacking you, and you have 50%, for example, you receive a 15% less damage while in Matador stance, if Matador Stance's Rank is at maximum.
If they have 100%, and you have 90%, you gain 5%.
If they have 100% and you have 80%, you gain 10%.
Etc.

(Note that the gimmick is that if you're not spamming their HP percentage down with Bellowing Stag and Cursed Wounds, you'll make a better use of this. Since Cursed Wounds don't affect the enemy's HP percentage, for reducing from their maximum HP right beside the damage. Koonai smart mechanics.)

Everything presented above will also probably be halved if Demon Hunter is not your main class. (Even though I don't wish for this, if we're buffing Demon Hunter's stances. But depends on what people want, I guess.) So! Is this a fine suggestion? I'd put more about Reaver and Combination Fighter, but there's already a thread running separately.

Now salt and whine about how broken those are to your heart's content. Be free my children!
