Build Mode Suggestions |

So, right now, building a house can be fairly tedious if you're not settling for a simple one or two floor building. Here are a few ideas to help ease the pain.
1. Allow home owners, while in Build Mode, to move between floors without having to locate and use the Extra Level itself. This would allow for houses that possess multiple levels to be much, much easier to build, as you wouldn't need to run through all the floors preceding it to work on it. Not to mention leaving it without relogging. Something akin to selecting which Extra Level you'd want to go to. I'm not sure how possible this is, but, I imagine it'd mean marking the Extra Levels or something.
2. While in Build Mode, have it so you can optionally be able to toggle the density/opaque of tiles. Something akin to noclip, if you're familiar with it--just phasing through all tiles regardless of if you'd be able to normally. This would make navigating floors and building them simpler, as instead of needing to build non-opaque walls and such prior, you could just lay them down as is, not to mention how easy it'd be to move around the floor.

Seeing traps made me think, why couldn't we build campfires?
It'd serve as a portable kitchen, but probably have very limited roster/increased difficulty to reflect that its just a campfire, not a kitchen stove or something along those lines. You don't have to haul ten food items, just cook in dungeons.
Perhaps even serving as some sort of a rest point, giving you the option to rest, which'd recover to a maximum of ~30% HP/FP (Just a random number that I thought would be reasonable.)
But most of all, the ability to use any small area and setup a nice roleplaying spot. Adventurers are very happy to sleep at an inn, but if the times aren't good, a nice spot by the fire in a forest is all they need. They can share meals, tales or whatever the hell do adventurers do.

Ominous Maid attacks Arcane Black Beast with Sea Hunter Tome and hits them!
Arcane Black Beast takes 93 damage.
Simply put, the Sea Hunter Tome's damage type seems to be...absolutely nothing. It's just. Damage.
I'll do further testing but, it's neither earth water or fire based on that attack.

1st: Strange Redhead - 33W Large Swordfish
2nd: Ominous Maid - 49W Large Eel
3rd Ominous Maid - 47W Large Eel
I caught the 2nd and 3rd place fish after the first place one, yet, despite being higher weight, they were bumped below it.
The contest ended with this.
1st: The emil irving - 40W Large Pufferfish
2nd: Strange Redhead - 33W Large Swordfish
3rd Ominous Maid - 49W Large Eel
The first place catch was caught after the 3rd place and 2nd place one, the 2nd place catch was caught before both 1st and 3rd, and the 3rd place catch was caught before 1st and after 2nd.
Something tells me this isn't intended.

I like the fishing contest overall but there's a few things I'd like to nitpick/offer suggestions about.
1: Allow for shared positions in case of ties.
A problem we saw during the contest was that 50W seemed to be the largest fish possible, so then whoever gets 50W first automatically wins outright.
This was a little disappointing for the two people in second and third who also had 50W fish, but even more so for the ones who got 50W but didn't even get a place.
So I think a good idea would be to tweak it so if multiple people in a top position have the same weight fish, they share that position.
Quote:I.e. Everyone who got 50W in this instance would all be 1st Place and each receive the rewards related to it.
2: Not just Sea Badges but Experience and Murai rewards too!
I think it would be a nice incentive to also get experience and money rewards, just to keep people interested in fishing contests after the initial shine wears off.
Quote:E.g. Participation: Level*50 or 10% TNL EXP, Largest Catch W*2 Murai.
3rd: Level*100 or 25% TNL EXP, Largest Catch W*4 Murai.
2nd: Level*200 or 50% TNL EXP, Largest Catch W*8 Murai.
1st: Level*400 or 100% TNL EXP, Largest Catch W*16 Murai.
3: The Sea Hunter weapons.
These weapons aren't that desirable in my opinion because the weapons are a little too situational with their effect.
I think the weapons would be more appealing and generally useful if the effect were more like this:
Quote:Deals 15% additional damage against seafaring monsters.
On Hit: Inflicts Level 15 Hunted for 3 Rounds.
4: More Rewards for Sea Badges.
More things to try and grab means more reasons to participate!
Quote:E.g. 'Coral' for 5 Sea Badges.
'Driftwood' for 5 Sea Badges.
A 'Wood' variant of the Coral material.
'Great Bait' for 5 Sea Badges.
Always lures large fish.
'Heart of Tannin' for 100 Sea Badges.
'Heart of Leviathan' for 100 Sea Badges.
'Magical Hook' enchantment for 150 Sea Badges.
Catching - Accessory Enchantment - +10% Murai gained from battles (stacks).
'Super Rod' for 250 Sea Badges.
A professional rod for a professional fisherman.
6 seconds to complete a catch compared to the usual 3 seconds.

[float=left] [/float]
This week; fish! Not fish people. No no. Fishing updates and such.
Fishing now has a little QTE-like prompt when you're reeling something in. Also, fishing contests!
1.26
Fishing Contest - A new region event has been added; the fishing contest. - A world message is sent when the contest starts, and lasts 30 minutes.
- During the event, fish caught in Dormeho will be weighed and ranked; the heavier the fish, the better.
- All participants will receive special items called Sea Crest Tokens; these can be traded in at a chest near Alex Richards for special items.
- First, second, and third places receive bonus Sea Crest Tokens, as well as trophies.
Fishing Prompt - Fishing now requires several directional inputs when you reel in a fish (the number depends on the size). If you mess up the inputs, or don't input them, the fish may get away.
Adjusted - World events now have a 4 in-game hour cooldown minimum between them. Individual events themselves have a 24 in-game hour cooldown before they can happen again.
Adjusted - Conversion Gloves no longer increase the duration of an existing Weapon Charge status, only increase its LV. (It will still give the status if you do not have one.)
Adjusted - Crafting furniture now requires the Furniture DISCer, located in the DISCer Chest; anyone with this item can craft furniture now, even if they do not own a House Ticket.
Adjusted - DISCers can no longer be dropped upon defeat.
* Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the emergency food supply eaten via the Preparation talent could not be overwritten, even if you were 'full' with it.
- Fixed a bug where opening a portable science kit/etc. while build mode was open, and then closing build mode, would prevent you from re-opening the build mode menu until you re-entered the house.
- Fixed a bug where status effects were not properly updating their LV, duration, etc. if they changed after being applied.

This is about bombs, yeah those forgotten items, what if we could blow them up manually with anything that inflicts fire damage. Blazing Shinken, Flamethrower/Fir-thrower, Sear, Fir etc.
Perhaps even increase the damage and explosion size from being manually detonated.
a small addition is all I'm suggesting.
