Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime, For the right price
This post is information and overview of the golden cross organization, as can be observed by non-members from behavior of members and occasional advertisements.
Basic information:
The Golden Crystal is a self-centered organization of doctors, healers, and the likes. Their goal is to provide medical assistance to anyone who needs it, regardless of the allegiance, for the right price. Members are also often noncombatants, and do not interfere with conflicts, only providing aid to the still living combatants once conflict is over, as long as involved parties can afford it, and as long as the winning party does not object (if there is a winner).
Tenets of the golden cross:
- Do not interfere with conflicts between people (You are however allowed to aid people against monsters)
- Maintain non-allegiance: Do not align yourself with any of the factions. Favoritism however is allowed, as long as its not taken to extreme, and as long as it benefits you and the organization.
- Preserve own interests above interests of others (except for your fellow golden cross members)
- Avoid providing free aid, unless as an 'Investment'. Experience and medical supplies are not free. However 'payment' is not restricted to tangible goods only. Favors can be considered a payement as well. Or a persons continued service to a cause that benefits you.
- Pay no heed to 'Petty moralities': All people are worth the same, regardless of what they do to others. Only what they do to you or your fellow members matters.
- Ask no unnecessary questions: What the client does is their business, unless it involves us.
- Do not use healing magic if not necessary: Magic is heavily exhausting and exhaustion is bad for the ability to provide healing services.
- Respect the other members, they will likely be your only true allies.
- No leaders: No one in the organization is better than any other.
If you wish to know more about us, or join us, our members always wear the symbol of golden crystal in a visible spot.

Scarecrows time |

Scarecrows last way less than it takes for stuff to be harvestable.
That means you can't put up a scarecrow for its intended purpose-> because people can't harvest your stuff anyway if its not ready. So the scarecrow that you put up is uselessly standing there, and since it has a shorter duration than the crops needs it won't have the intended effect of protecting them from thieves.
I suggest that each scarecrow must have atleast a minimum time of 1.5 times the duration crops needs, so you can actually go to sleep OOCly without coming back to an empty field.
This is honestly an OOC problem at this point.

Skills like Wind Pirouette can target knocked down enemies/allies (if confused)
I feel that would be unintentional, as that renders the skill almost useless. when someone defeated lies next to you in range.

In between both Telegrand and Meiaquar a notorious group of bandits has finally settled on a location they will be staying. Amongst the ruined homes, overran by grass and the makeshift log fence that could have seen better days, these Bandits have decided to call this place home. The Consenting Bandits, (AKA the Bandit Cosplayers, AKA the Harmless Buffoons) have been making their way all over the continent of Korvara, asking people if they want to be robbed, with their consent of course. After making their name (or attempting to that is) in all of the major cities, they realized that none of these places were places they'd call home, and as such, they'd seek to make their own home, outside the laws and restrictions of these major cities. Thusly, Beggar's Hole was created when the group of bandits decided in union that this abandoned, crappy place "just works" for exactly what they were planning.
No notable improvements have yet to have been made, but they do have a single sign made out of chopped wood at the entrance of Beggar's Hole and it reads as such:
Quote:If you cross this sign, you are hereby consenting to be robbed*.
* this means that by crossing you have indeed given consent. all consent given after you cross this sign is thereby not able to be revoked.
the Union of Bastards
The 'rulers' of Beggar's Hole.
Quote:Greedy Bastard: Alexei Sidorov (Pompous Pillager)
In charge of all of the treasure and loot gained from (consensual) robberies.
And the town's funds...
Quote:Cowardly Bastard: Notorious Nobody
In charge of intelligence, spying, and anything to do with that.
Is the first to run...
Quote:Honorable Bastard: Nefarious Narcissist
In charge of all 'justice' done within the land of Beggar's Hole, despite being lawless, have some respect for your fellow bandits.
Assuredly 100% impartial...
Quote:Angry Bastard: Eli Nh'ame (Belligerent Battler)
In charge of upholding the few 'laws' within the lawless land of Beggar's Hole. Responsible for organizing anything to do with force.
Also the ""head"" of the Bastards, surely not as angry as he seems...
(OOC NOTES: As time passes we'll come up with more 'culture' probably, and we'll also post something later if people decide they want to make and join this faction, for now just be sure to follow the iteration of the alias theme (an eye face state is a must.). The second name usually being something aggressive, but both start with the same letter. )

Well that never really went anywhere, so I guess I might as well try again?
Character Abillity: Celestial Requiem
Description: The Celebrity is known for her extremely powerful Galdr, so much so that she is known in Korvara with no equal. Galdr in general is a very Versatile kind of magic that can affect everything that is living or Focus itself to various effects. Be it to bolster or lower the Moral of Soldier, soothe anger, let plants grow, cause rain-..Etc. The effects depend on the user's mastery of Galdr and how much it goes against the true nature of a being and its willpower to resist or how much it already speaks with them.
The Celebrity is second to none in that, able to manipulate or amplify emotions to devastating levels. A Warrior boosted by her Voice, will fight for his cause relentlessly above what they would normally be capable, while a Soldier opposing to her will begin to falter, regret and lay down his sword or hesitate.
What do I actually want?:
Similar to how the mystic is extremly good at their stuff and healing, I want her to have something going for them that makes her "Valuable" to other people. There is currently the talk about War and how its ruled. For example, I think it would make sense when her "Motivational" songs would give big boons to the receiving army. So that she can make a difference without actually being invovled in PVP.
Further she would be able to be used in Events as someone who can possibly soothe rampaging Monsters, or help ease evil spirits anger to make it easier for others.
I do not want any Mechanical advantages for myself, she is a 'tool' for others to use if they play their cards right with her. Basically like a trumpcard that helps even weaker nations to defend themselves against something, without any direct buffs for myself! I want her to be a VERY useful supporter for others.

That time of year again where my cognitive dissonance boils over that this still hasn't been changed irks me
Can all Bark/Ore get the conduiz rotwood treatment yet?
Can the ghost/Hexer split dark spells count As huggessoa and their regular spell type.
Other than invocations I can count on one hand the number of spells rotwood can cast, Detogate/blackbolt, eternal darkness, eyeball from tact
Of those only eternal darkness and maybe the eyeballs is worth considering. No it cant cast ghost arrow, ghost arrow is a bow spell.
Forgot about altera

I am not sure if people like this or not but..
Traveling the land for a while now I wondered: "Why are monsters only in dungeons?"
Then I thought of other games, that have a bit of exploration and to spice it up, they make it so that once the sun goes down certain monsters spawn.
So why not populate the inbetween town areas/forests with some monsters too, that can be hunted? Wolves or whatever. Something you can technically farm for some materials or meat even for cooking recipes. I think that be cool.
to make it also something people can avoid, make it only at Nighttime or something. or spiff up some spawns at night or change them around.
