Rank 1 Mass does not apply the 1 diamond effect as described, it retains the cardinal direction for all compatible spells.

Steps to replicate:
Invest 1 SP in Mass
Use Mass in battle, then use Graft, Invigoration, Quickness, Second Chance, etc.

From how I understand diamond AOE to work, it should be adding an additional diagonal square to these spells (most notably Graft), but it doesn't.

This is only occurring with Rank 1. All other Ranks work as intended.

  [2.53] Quest names absent in quest book+Shael Is Lost appears wrongly as incomplete

I opened my quest book as a Guest, and saw empty boxes everywhere.


Quests could still be checked by clicking on each individual box, and I found that one quest (Shael Is Lost), that has been completed ages ago, is still marked as incomplete despite literally being in the completed-section. I can still access Jammer Cave 5F as well.



Next, I went to my actual BYOND account's character, and the quest book was the exact same.

In order, left-right & up-down photos (Taken not from a guest account, but my actual BYOND account) include:


1) Incompleted quests.

2) Completed quests.

3) Picture of the completed quest that is in the correct place, but it's still marked as incomplete.

  [v2.53] Jeweled enchant doesn't cut in half the cooldown of Fortunite-Head Staff

Steps I used to reproduce:
1. Enchanted my Coldbark Fortunite-Head Staff with the Jeweled enchant
2. Went into battle and used my Coldbark Fortunite-Head Staff
3. Noticed the cooldown was still the same 10-round duration

   
   

Not sure if this bug happens with other staves that use jewels since I only have the Fortunite-Head Staff to test with.

  Spatial Tile Update

Hi,

Am Appo. Usually more familiar with the mapping side of the submissions thread, but the default spatial tiles grind at me so much because they feel like such an eyesore. So I wanted to take a crack at perhaps alleviating that a little bit - I'm sure others have felt the same way, after all!

Currently I only have the floor tile completed, mainly because walls and doors are not my forte, but even so, just changing the floor would be a massive boon to me.

So I'm submitting the floor tile alongside a preview of what it should end up looking like. Who knows, perhaps someone else may want to add to this with their own wall and floor tile.

Either way, here's the file and preview.

  Where curses? (2.53)

So, I just had an idea due to reading a different thread on accursed remains and curses.

How about we get some additions to the enchanting table, or perhaps a different type of craft in general that allows us to plant curses onto items BUT.... At the cost of one, to FIVE black spirits ON TOP of perhaps another catalyst and the weapon or armor, AND a certain crafting level. It takes up the enchant slot like normal but these steep restrictions will make it difficult to obtain such curses yet fair enough for how powerful their effects can be, save for drawbacks inherent to the curse hex or dooming.

Guidelines for Lore Questions
1) You are limited to one question per topic. You may ask follow-up questions related to your initial question provided they are mainly 'yes' or 'no' questions.  For instances where you are clarifying lore details, or for minor questions, it is recommended to ask in the #lore-questions Discord channel instead of in this thread.
2) Questions should avoid being overly specific when the topic is unknowns. (IE: Was anyone on Sigrogana ever killed with a spoon? Has there ever been a scandal involving a noble family on Kysei?) For this reason, it's best to ask questions pertaining to subjects that already have some establishment in the lore.
3) Avoid asking questions on the basis that you are trying to invalidate someone's RP or otherwise harrass them, etc. If you have concerns that someone may not be RPing properly, or has an outlandish concept, please take them to a GM in private.
4) Refrain from asking questions that have always been answered. Use the forum search function, view the lore compendium, or the wiki pages for the specific races (both on wikia and this site's wiki) to double check.
5) If you notice any contradictions in answers, you are welcome to point them out. Note that established lore may be rewritten as time passes based on necessity or desire.

Expectation For Answers
Questions may be answered at any time, but the general expectation is that all questions will be answered during the first week of the following month. Answers will be added to the lore compendium, which will be updated after the topic is closed.

Shift Strike's On Critical Hit effects don't seem to be applying. Tested in live and on the test server.

Fire Fang is supposedly meant to inflict a level 10 burn - it did not. Ice Giants aren't immune to burn, as far as I know.

I also tested it with Sazae-oni's Shift Strike, supposedly meant to do Lingering Damage On Critical Hit, and Carbuncle's Shift Strike, tested against curses from a Snakeman Pariah. I critted in both instances.

Nope. Nothing. Nada. Nothing happened. No Lingering Damage, and the duration of my curses didn't go down.

Plisfa's Masochism, Fellel's Fumble, and Spirit Pain are in need of a description update.

Currently, their descriptions read;

Plisfa's Masochism

Fellel's Fumble

These neglect to include the stipulation that these abilities only affect Basic attacks, and for Spirit Pain, it only affects one basic attack. Unfortunately, this means that new players will invest in the skills without completely knowing what they do.
