Dancer Class! FEELING MOTIVATED |

Decided to try my hand at an outline for this too
Ballroom Blitz: move forward up to 3 tiles anyone you pass is considered danced with and moved back one tile.
WE need more skills that reposition others Dev its a cool idea and could have many uses.
Unwavering Grace: Ballroom
Unfaltering Steps: Tango
Definite Tempo:Waltz
Im putting both these skills in one but they kinda work similarly and I hope to explain my idea for how dancer would work with the gimmick i devised and yes this is much like DH stances.
The Dancer MUST change their dance every round (or rather each dances effects only last one round) when you dance with a target (by moving near them pulling them with you or interacting in some way (im personally a fan of forced repositioning counting) you apply buffs or debuffs to your target as you lead them around the dance floor (battlemap)
Ballroom A n ice relaxing route with allies applies regeneration to them but for your enemies the swirling movements damages and confuses
Tango The fierce and aggressive movements needed cause allies to gain SWA while The high speed rythem and strenuous movements causes foes to become clumsy
Waltz: Keeping pace with the dancer causes you to get the most out of every step +movement. While foes get walked all over -Movement.
Obviously there could be others and even potential for dance combos much like the kensei (maybe your buffs and debuffs stack the longer you dance for so eventually moving through an ally would inflict all 3 buffs at once.)
Rapid Gait. move up to 7 tiles in the direction your facing dancing with the person on the last tile.
A tricky Skill not much else to say but there are a bunch of 1M skills that change your facing.
Whirl. target one tile in front of you and whirl them around you once before moving them three squares behind you anyone hit with the whirl is considered danced with.
This is a very short list that I hope will inspire people to attempt their own
I also have idea's for a troubadour and a Siren (A Solider advancement and a mage advancement) heres a Preview of that just to fill some space and hopefully inspire others as well
Resonate (Siren) Dealing sonic damage leaves a mark on the target dealing protection ignoring sonic damage determined by level taking sonic damage increases resonances level
This skill is essentially encouragement to pile damage on the same target or targets and as much as I hate it you might have to exclude guns from this skill for a barrage of sonic shells would make this work somewhat like claret.
One Person Warband (Troubadour) All sonic skills and spells gain +Range and +Power Adding sonic damage onto basic attacks
Yes this is essentially Katana Master I plan for Troubadour to focus on rallying effects or maybe banners using LB as a template for their AOES
Feedback appreciated.

HEAR HEAR!
You've gotten some time to catch your breath. But Tarson's arena never sleeps! When the audience shouts "slash", you call "how hard?, and the cheers escalate louder than a squaggle of ducknecks!
Season two of the Arena Leaderboards is coming up- And a lot more faces are here to put their efforts in. Show your mettle, be it with magic or metal!
The rule'sre about the same- But any sorta healy magic is certified WACK, as dictated by our partners, the Church Knights of Lispool! That means the misty stuff, the needles- Nothing! This comes straight from their Leader, so no fussing about it.
When you've got the guts to get knocked across the sand, and sweep someone's legs while ya fall- Come on down to the Badlands to sate your taste for violence!
Now, a load of y'all have already fought, but I'll go'en repeat the spiel! The Leaderboards are a system designed to foster y'all'ns getting together and clashing in much the way we do in tournaments. All the rules that apply at Badlands tournaments, apply here.
If'n ye wanna organize a match, look yer match partner up on the leaderboards, and point him out, and we'll send a message from you to him ASAP to get them to come see ya. Ya get one "Victory point" if'n ya lose a match, and ya get two if ya win it. Here's the catch: Each fighter pairing can only fight one match per season. So make sure ya fight against lots of different people!
And in addition to the 'special rewards' we offer up to the top eight? We've got somethin' special to anyone who shows a dedication to the craft and keeps to that Arena spirit!
-Hale "Headhunter" Storm
OOC notes: Once you're registered by adding your name to the list, you can contact anyone registered here on the forum, asking to get a match with them. ICly, you'll be paging them through the Badlands Arena for these services. You can fight any other registered fighter
In each self-regulated match, healing potions will be limited to:- One PR-Hi or one PR-Regenerative per match per person. Stabilizers, Regeneratives, Hi-Potions, and PR-Stabilizers are banned. This includes potions granted by class features. Other item belt items are fair game(unless noted below.)
In each self-regulated match, the following healing abilities are prohibited:- All Mercana. Namely: Graft, Malmelo, Phoenix, Second Chance, Healing Discharge, Water Dragon (Used for healing), Refreshing flow, Mercalan Mists, Needle, AND the Mend/Miracle staves. Non-healing staves are allowed.
- Ki Healing (aid, meditation)
- Nature Healing (Gentle garden, cherry blossom)
- Void Healing of any kind.(Void Elixir)
Furthermore, 'elimination' rules are in effect. This means that if all PLAYERS are eliminated on a side, the win goes to the other. This is to account for summons such as youkai and engineer bots, which can continue fighting after their controller dies.
Matches must be held in normal, not stylish. Matches cannot be fought with items or statuses unavailable to the common player engaging in spars. This is subject to discretion, but includes using bugs and exploits and receiving external assistance (ie: another player joining mid-match). In order for a match to qualify, all of these rules must be followed, and both participating players must report results to a participating event runner, alongside two logs- A separated battle chat log, and RP log spanning the time of the match. Reporting this does not have to happen in game, and can instead be done by forwarding the information to one of the participating runners.
Conditionally, this can be waived so long as there are no disagreements between both parties regarding the outcome of the match.
Should a player refuse to submit results after a match, attempt to falsify or change the results of a match or otherwise disregard or the rules, they will be disqualified.
In order to register, leave a method of contact in this forum post or on the official Badlands Leaderboards server, and what characters you're entering with. For each character, leave a short bio, as shown. if you have more than one character in the top spots, you will only receive the bonus rewards for being in the top eight once. Note, you can only have ONE character per division, and each registered character can only fight another registered fighter ONCE. However, the same character can appear in multiple divisions.
As an example:
For Double and above signups the registration is made by a single post, that outlines all participants.
For each battle you win, you will earn 2 Battle Points. For each battle you lose, you will earn 1 Battle Point. At the end of the month, you will earn 200 Murai for each battle point you've earned over the month; The top eight of the leaderboard will earn an additional reward of ten raremetal, and pick of any one enchantment catalyst they desire. However, to place in the top eight, you MUST earn three or more Battle Points.
In addition, characters exceeding 10 Battle Points will receive 200 Arena Badges at the end of the season.
I can be contacted at Pandos#6387 via discord regarding questions, concerns, or any other matters relevant to the leaderboards.
For the month of July, 2021, there will be ONE division that players can sign up for!
A singles division.
The Singles division is as simple as, two fighters stand off in a 1v1 and test their mettle!
Remember, you can have these fights any time you want within the month without needing an event runner or GM to supervise, but you can only fight each other registered combatant once and have to send in the results and logs to a participating assistant to have your Points tallied.
Leave your signups here. (and make sure to leave contact info if you want fights!) Players can register a maximum of 1 character.
For this month, the participating assistants:
Kit#6944
As a friendly reminder, the cutoff for this event will be one day before the end of the month- July 30th, 11 PM ET. Complete any matches and submit results before this time!
Also, we have a discord for facilitation. If you need a place to snag fights easier or to get helpers for the sake of submissions or simply asking questions:

Shopkeeper Logbook |

Just a simple suggestion, mainly for people who own shopkeepers.
Perhaps a small tab you can swap to on the Shopkeeper menu that shows a log of what items were bought. It doesnt have to say by WHO but its a nice way to keep general inventory for people who got large or multiple shopkeepers and would rather not keep notepads on whats up.
The way id have it work is just show a log for however long the Shopkeeper has been placed or reset every 3 days just like the standard time for a keeper.

(V2.47) Soundcloud-based Music Doesn't STFU |

Profile music using SoundCloud will not shut off, even after you close out of a profile, and will only stop if you play a different song or close out the game entirely. I panic-tested it before because I thought something on my end was bad, but seeing someone else get this too pushed me in the bug direction.
I am pretty sure it also will not mute if you hit the in-profile mute button, but I might be mistaken and that was something else.
Method:
- Upload SoundCloud song to your profile as per norm.
- Let it play.
- Close out of the profile.
- Hear your music forever.

[2.47] Stamp Stacking / Disappearing |

For the past few months or so (2~4 months), there's been an issue where stamps either stack onto a singular tile or disappear entirely while your quest log remains entirely intact.
In the case of them disappearing, based on personal experience I noticed:
They don't disappear permanently. (It fixes itself on relog)
Some stamps stay and some remain unable to be seen, stamps that you obtain while stamps are gone appear normally.
You can place stamps over stamps that aren't visible(?)
It seems to be purely a visual issue as you still keep the stat bonuses provided(?)
In the case of them stacking:
They just appear on one tile at random and function as normal, but occupy a singular tile.
At the moment this seems entirely random and I'm unable to replicate it.
Will provide a key/slot if it happens to me again.

Give Herons their Wings, Man |

Simple, just let Herons gain a flight trait just like Phenexes. They live up in the mountains or the clouds, so it makes sense they'd be able to fly.
I hope that makes sense, anyway.
