Tab ping when it becomes your turn |

You get pings on your game tab if invited to a party or if a trade is requested for you. Many people end up turning sounds off because they get grating after a while or they want to listen to something else uninterrupted. All that aside they can just not hear the sound of the turn change ping over other things. There should be a setting you can toggle on or off that pings your game tab when it becomes your turn so people can tab out and know when it's their turn.

Haunted Poncho |

Alright, something like this has bothered me for a long but is it possible to like give Haunted Poncho's phantom cloak buff it's own skill while equipped with it? While 38 or so Evade unarmored for first 5 rounds is nice and all, there is only so much you can do in five rounds, not only that, this is a 10 star equipment, while take for example, a five-star Ninja armor that starts right off with 15 evade un-upgraded and a six-star Sarashi Gi's 5 starting evade and a perma +12 evade and crit if using the same weapons in each hands, I feel that maybe, just maybe, a 10 star armor could be a better choice if it had more incentives than just something that lasts the first five rounds.
Maybe make it so that Haunted Poncho grants phantom cloak as a skill, but does not start with the skill actived, and takes 30 FP - 38 FP to use with a 5 turn cooldown, allowing more control and likely more usage of Haunted Poncho as a 10 star equipment.

this has been an issue for a while now, to the point that I am surprised this still exists.
Can observers by pressing "Crtl+arrow keys" or something move the "point of view" from the center? This would make it possible to join castle Donut maps and also helps with custom maps that you just want to observe.

Can Jetpack be one of the things that work while you have the Clumsy status? It's kind of weird that you can't crash into some place while you're all dizzy and using one.

[All Boards] Beachside Party! |

A small girl with long, pink hair and a white flowing dress has been seen around many of the continents, putting up flyers all over the place. There may also be more people putting up flyers, but that's not important. Either way, it seems like these flyers are an announcement of some kind - for a gathering of people? Let's read what it says...
Beachside Party!
It's getting colder around us, but that doesn't mean we can't still enjoy some time at the beach and have fun! People were talking about that one gathering that happened on the beach down at Dormeho - and it sounded like it went so well! So, I guess we're copying them and hosting a beach party on a nice, cozy beach that isn't the target of black beasts! Feel free to just show up on any of the days it's being hosted, and leave whenever you want - it's an open invitation!
Courtesy of one of the event's sponsors, some staff from The Ebon Rose will be on board at our Beachside Bar to serve refreshments and likely also food to anyone who wants it! You can relax, refresh yourself, and have something to eat. Can play in the sand, or go for a swim... the choice is up to you! Bring your friends... and just enjoy yourself!
There may be a few lightshows and pyro stuff later into the night, so stick around if you want those!
Changing facilities are provided on site.
Sponsors:
The Cerota Family
Stella Trading
Dormeho Hibachi Grill and Noodles
[ If you would like to sponsor the event, either via perhaps offering a performance, or offering to serve food if you own a place for such, you are free to let me know. If it provides an opportunity for RP and to get yourself out there, we can discuss it for sure, and get your name on the sponsor list! ]
This event will take place over two days, to allow everyone to get the most out of it. The 26th of November and the 27th of November. Formally, the event will start at 4PM EST, but you can turn up later, maybe earlier if I'm feeling it - and there is no set end time. You can come and go as you decide the day is over for you. This event has a focus on your characters enjoying themselves, so no massive events planned - though I'll likely narrate some light shows / firework equivalents here and there, and other fun stuff.
The beach is in the house with my name on it in the forest. The closest one to the bottom entrance of it. I will make the portal you want to go to obvious when the time comes.

Lich Rights: End Lich Racism |

Hi there.
Most of you call me Stains, blood or otherwise.
Today I will be Levianaught, the writer behind Stains the Lich. Howdy!
Now then. Let us talk about RACISM.
My character was assaulted the other night. His character was attacked, his notions for existing besmirched, and his BASIC RIGHT TO SAY WHAT HE FEELS, was encroached upon completely, and utterly, by a low dog of the law.
A corrupt, racist, official of the government. *Shakes head solemnly, in deep disappointment.*
Here my friends is the line that settled it for me, the line that told me that ACTION must be taken in Sigrogana. The tyranny that is the corruption of power in those that would be called guardsmen cannot be side glanced. We must face head on the fact that we are in a time, a feudal, daunting time, of absolute hatred and unkempt bigotry. That we are under the monarch of a true evil, an evil that knows not it's innate ability to ruin an RP experience...
Behold:
06:23 - Reverend Radiance said in Say: I've thrown more of your kind in jail than I can count on both hands. Your madness gives you no excuse to do as you'd like on Imperial soil.
06:24 - Stains said in Say: Yes well, and what crimes have you ascertained me of? Have you evidence to requisite me to a jail?
06:24 - Stains said in Say: Because as far as I'm concerned, sardonic JOKES, are not against the law.
06:24 - Stains said in Say: Or am I wrong?
06:25 - Scruffy Onigan Wanderer said in Emote: steps a bit closer. "Ma'am, may I suggest something?"
06:26 - Stains said in Emote: raises his hand, a violent, crimson flash shooting out into the sky
06:26 - Reverend Radiance said in Emote: offered a chipper smile. "I have no tangible proof, but I have my sincerest doubt anyone would care if another egotistical Lich passed through the Fort. Keep your morbid jokes to yourself if you'd like to keep away from jail."
Yes well, you were wrong, Reverend Radiance. Someone does care. I care. The people, will care. I petition now for the better treatment of liches and all misunderstood beings of the dark. To be persecuted of crimes Stains surely had not committed, and to be forced into a confrontation for the sole purpose of ham fisting him into a 1v1 Prison RP where I would have probably been ball gagged and tortured, is beyond irreprehensible. It's downright powergaming bullshit.
Now let me ask you, good people of Sigrogana, how would you feel. with your race in this sentence?
I have no tangible proof, but I have my sincerest doubt anyone would care if another egotistical Doriad passed through the Fort. Keep your morbid jokes to yourself if you'd like to keep away from jail."
Wow. Powerful stuff here.
I have no tangible proof, but I have my sincerest doubt anyone would care if another egotistical Shaitan passed through the Fort. Keep your morbid jokes to yourself if you'd like to keep away from jail."
*Holds hands together and shakes in sadness*
I have no tangible proof, but I have my sincerest doubt anyone would care if another egotistical Reaper passed through the Fort. Keep your morbid jokes to yourself if you'd like to keep away from jail."
*I too, hate reapers, so I found this sentence hilarious, but I digress. HATRED IS ALWAYS WRONG!!!
The faces of institutionalized racism within Sigrogana must come down. Are we to be forced to RP the way someone else wants, simply because they don't like that my lich make jokes that barely hit on the PG-13 scale? Were talking Addams Family shit right here, literally. The Munsters level, of comedic evil.
I was banned fellow Sigrogananians. Banned for a full 24 hours. That's like, ten years in Sigrogana time. That's not true, I made that up. But it feels like ten years.
"I want my time back.." *
An echo from the sands replies*
"You chose to legend up and become a lich, so now you must go to jail anytime a guard thinks you're being bad, with or without proof..."
"Wait what. Where does it say that?"
"It doesn't. Probably because it's an individual player powergaming you into the position they desire you to be."
"Fuck dude, you're so wise, and like, rational, who are you?"
Yes it's true. I am both of the men speaking above, and as it turns out, both of those men inside my head agree.
The racism against liches must end.
SHOW YOUR SUPPORT for the downfall of hatred against the undead! For every comment in support of this, I will personally IC invite you to join the Midnight Company's official Book Club Members Guild.
You will be dazzled by the RP you experience. Enamored by the sights and sounds! Most likely robbed and beaten, but you'll enjoy it!
Trust me. A fight against racism, is a fight we all, can get behind.

Build You A House! (The Current State of SL2's House Building) |

tldr: House building pretty harsh right now can we get a furniture catalogue item, priced at 500 Asagorians, which lets us see all the furniture items and 'buy' them from it like a shop for free? We already spend Asagorians for houses, so why not?
Hello hello, Shibe from Space here! I've come to provide a rather lengthy and, dare I say, bold suggestion and hopefully sprout a discussion among SL2's House Builders. There's a tldr up there, if you're super lazy like me. I'd appreciate it if you gave this whole thing a read, though!
First, a little background check. Shibe, who are you, exactly, to even dare speak of building? Well, I'm one of many house builders that exist in SL2. I certainly won't claim I'm the best at it, but I'd like to think I know a lot of ins and outs on how these things work. I've built a good dozen houses meant for events and player houses both, worked tirelessly to crank out an environment for everyone to role-play end enjoy, previously with relative ease!
But now? It's actually kind of difficult to make much progress, especially without grinding a lot of Murai. And by that I mean a lot of Murai. It was already quite a mountain to climb just trying to gather enough Ashwood and Murai to create a decent house. Making it all look pretty. Now, with the taxes, and the prices on the furniture(which I will get to further down this thread), it's taxing and inconvenient to try building a grand house. And trust me, 400 furniture limit? Not enough if you're aiming high(this is coming from someone with 800 furniture limit. 1000 is the cap, by the by).
In light of the crafting update and the newly applied taxes, there's already enough money-sinks in the game that affects everyone globally, which also strangles us builders more than before.
Let's not forget the fact that with the recent update, it's incredibly aggravating to walk back and forth, back and forth, back and forth between your house and an ASAGO building. God save you if your home was somewhere far away like Voilegarde, Law's End, Nameless Shrine Cave.
This isn't even delving into the annoying four housing merchants(whom have a notorious history of glitching out and vanishing for an entire reboot. But Dev fixed them already, hopefully for good!).
Now let's get on with the nitty and gritty. Firstly, let's review why building houses feel terrible now. Reason number...
- People don't like being inconvenienced and being forced to walk to their player house to the ASAGO building, or those four aforementioned housing merchants(five, technically, if you count the pumpkin in Darkwood Manor). This wasn't much of a problem, previously, but with all the housing furniture scattered about everywhere in SL2, it's become a major problem.
- People who build houses are 95% of the time poor. Now, you may say 'Shibe, you pulled that percentage out of your bum', but I assure you I can speak this with confidence. Most of us(house builders) depend on other players to dole out and provide us with cash and materials(previously). You won't see us walking around with ten thousand Murai, unless we're on our way to buy a bunch of furniture(previously ashwood, cotton, iron, etc.).
- Taxes. As if it wasn't already heavy on our Murai pouches, taxes has come to claim even more of our hard-earned cash that we're aiming to spend for a player house meant for other players', or your own, enjoyment. Sure it might make sense if the character is, IC, poor and works at it enough to get a better house, but most often player houses are built as event areas or places meant for the public.
- Inventory space. This is a problem people on lower end devices suffer from more than those with shiny high end ones. Ever wanted to stock up on your chairs just in case you might need more or you're not sure how many you'll need for a two floor house? If you're playing on a good computer, you can probably afford it. But for those that aren't? I'm sorry, but whenever you open your home tab after stocking up around 100~200+ items? Your dreamseeker's going to slow down, ranging from 'this isn't so bad' to 'oh my god it hasn't stopped freezing for ten seconds now'. God save you again if you even try making keys from doors and try renaming them, because it will happen again.
- Now this is something I've been baffled by the most. Why should I, the guy that spent 500 Asagorians on a ticket, need to spend more Murai to buy furniture for a player house that I bought? Isn't it already enough to spend what is, commonly known as, the equivalent of 50,000 Murai for a house ticket? Why do we need to spend 10,000~(ranging to an extreme 50,000~+) more Murai just to make the house we bought with real money(or hard earned Murai if you bought Asagorians from another player) prettier?
- It takes a lot of time building player houses as is. The process of setting down floor tiles, wall tiles, and mapping out a good layout to use takes a while. This adds onto issue number 1. This can burn us out a lot.
Okay Shibe, you stated your 'numbers'. How about you show us those prices on furniture? Isn't the new update better on our Murai storage?
Depends! But if I were answer it as honestly as I could? Ab-so-lute-ly not!
Previously, a chair costs around 45 Murai(15 per 1 Ashwood), not counting reputation. Now? It costs a whopping 60(+10% Tax rate). Chairs are by far one of the most common furniture items you usually use. Those Onigan chairs? Cotton costs 10 Murai, and while I forget how many you needed at the time, I can say for certainty it definitely did not cost me 60(+10% Tax rate) Murai when I grabbed them.
Sure, there are items like Big Trees that needed a whopping 10 Ashwood(150 Murai) that costs 60(+10% Tax rate, because I hate the new taxing system) Murai now, and that's great! Heck, items that were hard to craft like those light sources which required nerif's blood, or the various paintings that needed really weird materials are easy to get and buy now! I'm pleased with those!
But again, why do we need to buy furniture items with Murai for a donation item?
What do you propose?
This is where we get to the daring and bold part. What I propose is simple, and one of these ideas is one that I heard from another fellow house builder that I really like.
- Abolish the Murai requirement from furniture items entirely. There is no need to add a Murai sink for players who oftentimes don't have any Murai to begin with. We're all basically your slaves working to provide you an area for your own amusement, over and over until the next, new shiny area comes up for everyone to flock to and abandon the last one.
- Provide house builders with a furniture catalogue item of sorts, priced at 500 Asagorians in the donation shop, where all furniture is listed and free to take, with an unlimited quantity. This will solve so many problems player house builders have, and would only serve to motivate them further into creating more wonderful environments. Once again I see absolutely no reason as to why we must grind Murai on an already taxing and time-consuming process that is building, so please, just give these furniture to us for free. There literally will not be any impact on the economy(despite how broken it already is, house builders excluded) if we're given this feature.
Is there anything else you'd like to say, Shibe?
I know I can speak for all player house builders when I say we build these environments not just for us, but for the community as well. As divided we all are, we all just want to enjoy the game. I firmly believe that improving house builders' quality of life with the furniture catalogue is a great step in the right direction, and this isn't just my bias speaking. Please hear me out and give your thoughts on this!
