With the release of ascensions for Seiryu and Byakko, I figured now's a good time to throw some suggestions for new youkai. The current roster seems very stagnant, with many youkai not seeing use at all. These might spice things up. As with all idea posts from myself, these aren't meant to be balanced right from the jump. Most likely they would need to be tweaked, but at least it gives something to spitball off of. With that being said...
Suzaku
Race: Avian
Skills
God Blaze Cannon
A stream of scorching, divine flames. A line based projectile 5 tiles in front of the user that deals damage equal to the caster's WIL + Suzaku's level. Has a chance to inflict burn LV X (X is Suzaku's LV/2).
Seal of the South
Crest of the ruler of the South. If the owner of this skill is closer to the South side of the battlefield they gain +2 WIL
Immortal Phoenix
One who is reborn by fire. If the owner of this skill is defeated on top of a Cinder tile, they revive with X% of their HP where X is the LV of the Cinder tile they were defeated on. One can revive with a maximum of Suzaku's level x 5 HP this way. Can only trigger once per battle.
===
Genbu
Race: Mystic
Skills
Wave of Judgment
A crushing and relentless wave of water. A 5 tile wide wall of water centered at the user extends and deals damage equal to the caster's VIT + Genbu's level. Those hit are pushed until the end of the attack's trajectory. It extends 5 tiles by default, up to 7 with increased FP cost per extra tile.
Seal of the North
Crest of the ruler of the North. If the owner of this skill is closer to the North side of the battlefield they gain +2 DEF.
Ruler of Tides
One who governs the seas. The owner of this skill is immune to Dark Water tiles.
===
(Ideally this next youkai would only be summonable by an item, similar to the items for Vampire Legume and Firefox.
Kouryuu
Race: Dragon
Skills
Quaking Soul
A tremor that ravages the earth. Deals magical Earth damage in a circle around the user equal to the caster's DEF + Kouryuu's level. Destroys special tiles in the area of effect.
Seal of the Center
Crest of the ruler of all seasons. If the summoner has contracted all four of Seiryuu, Byakko, Suzaku, and Genbu, Kouryuu gains +5 DEF, +5 RES and +5 SAN. This also applies to the summoner if they install Kouryuu.
Divine Golden Scales
Covered in heavenly scales, increasing armor and magic armor by 5 each.

The ultimate rune spinner technique |

Real talk though this isn't really a technique and there's a reason it's showing up on the forum, where people can determine, mainly dev, whether it needs to be handled, SO LETS D-D-D-DEBATE
Anyways moving past the joke there due to the nature of warding runes you can indefinitely cut off enemies reaching you, as well place a smoke to protect the two warding runes, then of course make a sandwhich and a rune spinner, go meet the neighbors, pray to jesus grab a soda take a name, anything really it's a free country here.
Here are some screenshots regarding it, and should help illuminate "Why this can be bad"
https://prnt.sc/scc20z screenshot of what the setup looks like before the smoke rune triggers
https://prnt.sc/scc2cu the same fight, you can see the knights and sniper attacking the rune instead of worrying about me
https://prnt.sc/scbv60 here's another fight in another corner where a snakeman mage is blatantly ignoring casting slithering earth on me *For an unknown reason, it CAN attack me, but it choosing not to, even after attacking the rune has failed*

It's no secret that these new tome seeds are quite a thing, and require some hefty grind, and while I personally do not want a wild wolf seed I can see how it's hell to acquire one considering dungeons under 60 have random mobs.
I'd personally very much like it if dungeons returned to having a mono mob type to them, with a dungeon modifier that allows them to be like they are now if that really has to be a thing, but I hopefully speak for people who grind, especially like 10* and such, that it'd be nice if you entered a crypt and got undead.

Dormeho's Gym and Recreation Center is now open!
In fact, it has been for a while! Flyers are indeed posted around heavily trafficked areas pointing people to Dormeho, and then further to the Gym and Recreation Center.
Located in the lot above the Inn (the one with the red roof), it's definitely in the main thoroughfaire for people to walk into. It is staffed with members 24/7 (I know they look like chess pieces, but I swear they're people) so you are never without help.
Features:
- [Members Only] A massage parlor
All of the amenities in the Center are free to use, and the Center itself never closes. Those that wish to purchase a Membership, it is 1000 murai for (a whole ooc month). However, memberships are not required to enjoy the majority of what the Center has to offer.
Please come down, bring friends, work out and get fit~

Hey Sigrogonians, Ethan here.
Through my brief time of playing Sigrogana Legends 2, I have noticed some things that made some aspects of the game slightly annoying. I am by no means a great sage of wisdom, but rather a guy with some common sense. So I'm just going to throw some ideas and changes at a forum post, see what sticks and maybe see some changes in the future if all goes well.
Quality of Life Changes
Should make things easier
Travel
Travel is a weird concept in Sigrogana Legends 2, It took me three characters to discover that I could go to different places on the world map through the mage's guild. I had assumed for the most part that the Mage's guild use was solely going to be used for enchanting gear and equipment. Another aspect that seems to gripe at me is the tutorial spawn in Cellsvich. While I do not mind that spawn is in Cellsvich itself, the main gripe is that Cellsvich is the only option. It is from this that naturally, Cellsvich has become the main town of the server. Disregarding any other places on the map as potential starts and being the most developed and active.
So here's a couple of things that could be added. - Allow Dormenho to have a Port System, another means of fast travel to other places. If a Cat-Eared detective in Tannis can tell a story about a ship mysteriously going in a place it shouldn't, shouldn't players be allowed to travel on ships..? Or we could allow players to buy ships and travel around the overworld on water in these ships, much like in RPG games. Pirating Intensifies
- Allow the tutorial teleporter to spawn in other capitals other than Cellsvich, also add similar starting areas to the Jammer Cavern present in the starting area. That way, the focus of the server will not be focused on Cellsvich in particular and rather on the worldscape itself.
- Create an Asago quest that shows requires you to use the Mage's Guild teleporter or Port System, this would show players that they can leave the starting continent and how to do so.
Battle
Battle has also some minor inconveniences present, my main inconvenience is the unclear elite system that adds modifiers to monsters. Let's say I am a newer player and I encounter a jammer, I have been putting alot into my attack and have enough attack to one-hit KO a jammer. I then go on to move and attack the jammer, only to realize that the jammer was secretly a sturdy jammer and thus survived my attack. I knew the capabilities of a jammer, and wasn't prepared for the fact that this jammer was sturdy. I had no real indication of this and will have to manually check every jammer from now on to see if they have any unique modifiers. So with this in mind, I propose the following.- Enemies with special modifiers will have a crown above their head, similar to those that appear above BDPs when completed, this will clue the player into the fact that this enemy has a modifier.
- At the start of every battle, display a list in the chat. This list will display the following data about monsters.
- Level, Enemy Name, Amount of that Monster, and Special Modifiers.
- For example, x2 Jammer LVL 1, x1 Arcane Jammer LVL 4
Black Door Phonmeona
Random Dungeon Variety
BDPs are some of the most frequented and rewarding source of equipment and experience. However, they have too little of variation and fall into a linear gameplay loop. Modifiers are some of the things that alleviate this, and more of them would also give dungeons a bit more life too them rather than them just being punching bags for us to complete. Here are some ideas I have in mind but more could been added in the future.
Gladatorial
All enemies are replaced with Arena Combatants.
Elemental
Enemies have a chance to be enchanted with Galren, Kraken, Redgull, Nerhaven or Talvyd.
Elitist
Every encounter has a guranteed chance to spawn an enemy with a modifier, bosses can also have modifiers.
Boss Rush
Amount of enemies on each floor is dramatically reduced, all enemies are replaced with boss encounters.
Infectious
At the end of a round, if standing next to an ally or enemy. Status effects are transferred, status effects transferred this way are lost at the end of combat.
Rocky
More rock hazards are added in combat, dungeons are covered in rocks.
Bombarding
After every round, a spot is designated for an explosion much like the explosion spell. At the end of that round, the explosion will trigger, dealing damage based on the dungeon's level. Rinse and repeat.
Utilitarian
More resources, traps and interactables are present.
I was feeling like adding more to this post from here, but I found that I might be putting too much on one post. I hope to see where this thread goes, regardless. Hope you enjoyed the idea. This post was more or less a binge post more than anything else.

Fox Dive |

The fist weapon special attack, Fox Dive, can incorrectly be used with any weapon when a character uses the Mixed Martial Arts ability. To replicate:
- Equip Martial Artist, with points put into the Mixed Martial Arts ability.
- Equip a weapon (non fist) in the main hand, and nothing in the offhand, so that you qualify for Mixed Martial Arts.
- Get into combat, and use the available Fox Dive skill to use the attack with your non-fist weapon.
