Bluff Buff |

More often than not, Invocations are met with silence instead of damage, due to the talent that prevents them from being broken with damage.
That said, I think that bluff could see far more use in tricking your opponent if the following were to occur:
When using Snatch Spell, the spellthief will draw in any spells and negate/take them, furthermore, if bluff is being used, the spellthief will negate any incoming silences, and gain immunity to silence for 2 rounds if they were to negate a silence.
Any thoughts? I would like to see Spellthief becoming more of a trickster class, its starting to get there, but Bluff could really use a touch up to make sure its worth it to actually bluff an invocation and not hard-cast it all the time.

Lore Questions: June (2018) |

This is a new topic for Lore Questions because the old one was about 26 pages. (No, I will never stop copying this part.) The format is roughly the same, but some guidelines;
1) Try and format your questions appropriately. As in, make it easy to read and answer.
2) Try and limit the number of questions you ask per thread. I don't mind answering them, but don't get crazy and ask me 20 things, especially if they require detailed answers.
3) Try to avoid asking extremely specific questions, such as 'Did anyone ever die of food poisoning in Cellsvich?'. Answering these is difficult, because not everything is set in stone, so giving a definitive answer on it not only restricts me in the future, but it might influence other players' character concepts that involve it.
That said, if you have any questions, you can post them in this thread! I will post answers at the end of the month/start of the next one.
Thanks! (And yes, if you had questions from the previous topic that I didn't answer before I closed it, you can post them here, but remember the formatting guideline.)

Can Curate's 'Mass' affect Priest's Treatment skills? Something like:
Quote:"While 'Mass' buff is active on the Priest, it increases the range of all Treatment spells by (Mass Rank LV)."
or
Quote:Increase the base range of Treatment spells from 1 to 4 range, and double it when using Staff-type weapons.
Currently, it's almost impossible to make an efficient use of this, without losing all of your momentum to chase after allies and sometimes Priests having to use Rescue in order to treat people can become quite annoying for who's being treated, as you're in the fray of combat, and then out of nowhere you're hooked away, just to waste momentum as the enemy runs away or something.
I know if Mass does Treatment in an AoE, so that's out of my considerations. Hell no. We already got Lantern Bearer.

IC
Some people have reported that a group of men wearing suits and a badge with a symbol of a red lotus flower have been spotted talking with multiple merchants, offering 'protection' when the Onigan Force isn't available to defend them all from possible Law's End goers or any other bandit group, as long as they had the coin to pay for their services. Some of them accepted, but while one of them didn't pay in time, had their store completly destroyed in return, suffering more damage than profit.
There was no proof that it was them and no evidence of magic was found in the crime scene. Yet, this could've been done by anyone at night. After this show, the merchants decided it was the best to heed to their words, and while the number of men and women with that badge has grown, more Oniga felt more 'protected'... or more dangerous.
OOC
Scarlet Society is a mafia/yakuza-like group that will act mostly on Oniga only. (There will be some cases where they can go to Law's End as well.) The group in general is one big 'family' that works together to increase their profits while inside the city, working under the laws of respect and business first above everything else. There will, of course, have any chance of you being jailed during the IC activities in the city, while as well be using your build for PvP purposes.

Since I've been around for so long, I figure I should formally say goodbye.
So for anyone who cares, so long, and to Dev, thanks for the hard work over the years.
My Discord is MegaBlues#0079 if anyone wants it.
Thanks for the good times.
