So I returned to SL2 about a week or two ago, starting with a new character, and this is where I found Shael, just glued to that spot. At first, I thought he had been glued there for it to be easier to talk to him, especially given that this lets you hookshot back up one island to find the shortcut for him.
He's been in that spot since, reboots, updates, and all.
Eventually, I noticed he still says this while you're passing him:

So either Shael's pathfinding is bugged, or this message should be removed from his AI.
Side note (If he is meant to stay there):
Edit: So in whichever case, he also spams this message even in error. Writing the original post, I placed my character in this spot, out of his way, but he still repeated the message endlessly:

* Engagement
- While an enemy is in melee range and facing the tile you are in, you are considered 'engaged'.
- While engaged, your Move is halved.
- Furthermore, when you use Movement, the unit(s) engaging you will get an attack of opportunity if they have a melee weapon equipped, before you move. This only applies to the first step of your Movement unless otherwise noted. (Enemies who can attack you in this fashion will be marked by a red ! above their heads while you're planning your movement.)
---
A slightly random idea. Wouldn't apply to skills that move you like Sidecut/Backflip/etc. Not sure if it's necessary but I thought it would introduce a little more tactical decision making, especially if you're a ranged character (it becomes more important to not let the enemy get too close since escaping is harder), and make certain skills more useful.

Hello, it's me again!
This is another idea that the aforementioned friend and I have brainstormed after the entire pawn shop thing. Would it also be possible to add in the following verbs in order to alleviate the struggle of using a mouse? These include:
open-chest: To open chests without needing to use a mouse.
harvest: To harvest rocks, plants, coral, and anything else without the need of a mouse either.
Seeing as there are so many verbs as is, I think these would be easy fixes and would help alleviate some of the performance issues people encounter when going through dungeons. With that said, if anyone has any other interesting verbs, feel free to toss them in replies here! We can all collaborate to try and make SL2 as convenient as possible!
Edit: And if it isn't too much to ask, could this possibly be pinned? I think adding more verbs would be a constant effort.

Pawn Shop Woes |

Hello hello,
A friend of mine brought an interesting idea up to me and I was wondering if other people would like to see it implemented. The way that the current pawn shop or any form of purchasing/selling service works in the game is a tedious click and drag action that tends to take far more time than necessary.
Would it be possible to add an option in the game where you Ctrl + Click to purchase or sell an item? That way you have the liberty of either doing what's comfortable and familiar by clicking and dragging or if you're in a rush or have plenty of junk to sell, save yourself the time and Ctrl + Click it all away and move on with your day.
A side note to this as well is that they mentioned if it would be possible to remove Donor Items from these pawn shop situations? Just the anxiety of skimming through the list and seeing these Donor Items is frightening enough as is. I think this would be a simple fix to keep from the tedium of the current system but also keeping it as is for those who are more comfortable with it.
Thoughts?
