Request: Stat formula clarification |

Hello,
I started to work on a google sheet to reflect the current in-game stat system so I can see real time changes without having to start a new character or eat a fruit just to see things and how they scale.
The first issue I ran into was calculating the diminishing returns so I used a series of nested ifs in order to calculate each value past 40.
Code: =Rounddown( IF(AND(C2 > 40,C2 < 44),((C2-40)*0.9)+40, IF(AND(C2 > 43,C2 < 47),((C2-43)*0.82)+43, IF(AND(C2 > 46,C2 < 50),((C2-46)*0.74)+46, IF(AND(C2 > 49,C2 < 53),((C2-49)*0.66)+49, IF(AND(C2 > 52,C2 < 56),((C2-52)*0.5)+52, IF(AND(C2 > 55,C2 < 59),((C2-55)*0.42)+55, IF(AND(C2 > 58,C2 < 62),((C2-58)*0.34)+58, IF(AND(C2 > 61,C2 < 65),((C2-62)*0.26)+62, IF(AND(C2 > 64,C2 < 68),((C2-64)*0.18)+64, IF(AND(C2 > 67),((C2-67)*0.1)+67)))))))))))
each time it switches to the next three series, it removes .8 and calculates normally. The problem is @ 55. Where the value comes out mathematically to be only 50% as effective here. So, taking a base of 8 skill and getting them to a skill of 55, you'd have 55 - 52 (where the .5 percentile falls) giving you 3 *.5 = 1.5 +52 = 53.5 and then rounded down to 53. Everything up to this point is accurate in the formula, but for some reason, upon hitting 55, the formula no longer applies to the in-game values and I have no idea why.

After 55, the values get a lot more strange and I have no idea what happens. I know that once you reach around 67 total, the percentage becomes 10% effectiveness beyond that, or well should.
You said the formula is a bit more complex, but is it only 8% per 3 beyond the softcap? If so, I think there is a calculation error somewhere.
For reference, @80, you'd expect a value of (80-67= 13 *.1 = 1.3 +67) 68, but in-game, you only have 60.

Attention, people of Sigrogana, and beyond. Although we have not officially opened our bar and games business up, we are holding a lottery in the building, with an automatic shopkeeper to sell the tickets. The building is north of Doctor Gorri's office. There will be a total of thirty tickets for sale, for ten-thousand murai each. There are three prizes; each prize has a number associated with it. The prizes are a bow suited well for a mage, an axe that is effective against spiritual beings, and an automatic shopkeeper that is ready for you to use. The prizes are on display near the ticket-vending shopkeeper. If you are a winner, please reply to this message with the time you'd like to meet at the business so we may give you your winnings.
Thank you for your consideration in our products.

The Fruit of Fluidity lets you swap out your stats. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue. However it doesn't reset TRAITS (or talents, should they ever become stat locked).
This creates a very large issue whenever certain things are gotten via the fruit (Exceptional Health/Will, Tactician, etc) then people use the fruit to reset their stats to be 'normal' for their build and completely ignore the fact that they're bug abusing.
Sure, it lines your pockets, but you stated that you wanted a "non-abuse ridden" way to do this, and this is pretty bad.

Luck doesn't seem to be affecting drop chance at all, less than 5 items dropped in 20 fights with full luck, magnifying glass and lucky accessories equipped. Fights were against Undead, Beasts and Bandits (I did get Stolen Goods but those are guaranteed so i didn't count them)

So, I have like.. 88 will, probably closer to 90 in combat. I'm using a rustic flambella, pretty normal stuff. My friend is using a spell edge fist. 40 ish will, he has 10 more defense them me. These are our damages, point blank, on the same enemy both with charge mind.. I feel like something is horribly off.
Him
Sliding Zombie takes 260 Earth damage.
Me
Sliding Zombie takes 163 Earth damage.
Sliding Zombie takes 163 Earth damage.
I ran player debug on a couple things
(point blank)
Debug: Rustic Flambella was the casting tool.
Debug: Total Power for Magaisendo / was 81.
Debug: magic was in flags
Rock-Solid Vampiric Legume takes 50 Earth damage
Debug: Rustic Flambella was the casting tool.
Debug: Total Power for Rye / was 72.
Debug: magic was in flags
Debug: projectile was in flags
Rock-Solid Vampiric Legume takes 45 Lightning damage
And this was a charge mind sear on some things.. Fire tome, mind you..
Debug: Rustic Flambella was the casting tool.
Debug: Total Power for Sear / was 74.9.
Debug: magic was in flags
Weak! Red Gorgon takes 252 Fire damage.
Debug: magic was in flags
Weak! Goblin Spear takes 227 Fire damage.
--- ROUND 2 ---
My friend's check was for like 141, he has strength though. So he's scaling awesomely on his weapon and the element. I don't so much for sear. If this is just an issue with my tome scaling with strength and me not having much of that, sorry for wasting your time.

When you use Pray (Curate Skill Pray) and it hits an offensive effect (see: Divine Lightning), it seemingly removes Pacifist Boon.
Effectively, this makes you remove your boon which gives FP for Immediate FP.
Also, Since 'Pray' always procs an effect (see: 100 FAI), there's a high chance of my boon getting removed just cause I prayed. This might be a bug, might not.

Staves (see: Battle Items) currently use non-scaled stats-- in this case, non-scaled WIL and/or FAI.

Bamboo-bo doesn't count as a staff, despite it looking like one, is this actually a bug? It seems like one.

I think personally monsters have a little bit too much HP, can all around VIT for monsters be lowered? They have the numbers advantage compared to players (Usually)

There has been a lot of complaints over how the Equipment Tab allows people to see what you're doing and take advantage by swapping their equipment on the fly. This is a very valid concern, not only for the whole 'abuse' part, but the lack of explanation as to why, for instance, a character threw off their Ninja Suit and then donned a Bodyguard with no visible notice.
I would like to suggest something that can work towards solving this issues: Whenever someone equips or changes their non-Weapon Equipment, a relevant message is displayed for everyone within a moderate distance:
Quote:"____ swaps out their armor."
"____ swaps out their gloves."
"____ swaps out their shield."
"____ swaps out their shoes."
"____ swaps out an accessory."
While it would not be an absolute solution, it would make attempts to take advantage of your opponent's equipment on sight impossible without letting everyone else know, while also making sure that people aren't completely blindsided by someone going and swapping their outfit without notice.
