Guidelines for Lore Questions
1) You are limited to one question per topic. You may ask follow-up questions related to your initial question provided they are mainly 'yes' or 'no' questions. For instances where you are clarifying lore details, or for minor questions, it is recommended to ask in the #lore-questions Discord channel instead of in this thread.
2) Questions should avoid being overly specific when the topic is unknowns. (IE: Was anyone on Sigrogana ever killed with a spoon? Has there ever been a scandal involving a noble family on Kysei?) For this reason, it's best to ask questions pertaining to subjects that already have some establishment in the lore.
3) Avoid asking questions on the basis that you are trying to invalidate someone's RP or otherwise harrass them, etc. If you have concerns that someone may not be RPing properly, or has an outlandish concept, please take them to a GM in private.
4) Refrain from asking questions that have always been answered. Use the forum search function, view the lore compendium, or the wiki pages for the specific races (both on wikia and this site's wiki) to double check.
5) If you notice any contradictions in answers, you are welcome to point them out. Note that established lore may be rewritten as time passes based on necessity or desire.

Expectation For Answers
Questions may be answered at any time, but the general expectation is that all questions will be answered during the first week of the following month. Answers will be added to the lore compendium, which will be updated after the topic is closed.

Self-explanatory. This thread is being made to express my interest in beginning a mapping project for the area of Doraington. It possesses a unique position on the world map and I personally see a lot of potential in making a more maritime themed town that doesn't have the concrete jungle trappings of Dormeho.

Should interest be shown and permission be granted, I will convert this thread into a log regarding the progress of the project.

The "attack" icon_state will show up when monsters use normal attack while controlled by the AI, the problem is that this is not the case when you load the mob on yourself.
 
Steps to reproduce:
1. Load a mob on yourself with an icon that has the attack icon_state
2. Use normal attack on something
3. Watch the animation not play
  
Works with AI controlled mobs, just not when you're controlling it yourself.

This App was posted privately for reasons. I DM'd Slydria about it and post this on the forum to complete the procedure. 

Reverb stays longer than it should in some cases!

Specifically starting in BDPs (and battles in BDPs that don't already have reverb), it tends to persist upon leaving until the game is restarted, even through area changes and in player homes. I've seen this happen in caves and ice/water areas specifically but it may be happening in other ones too. Re-entering and leaving again doesn't remove it either.

Game Version 2.39, Mirror Shard - Rainbow Cloak

In the current state of the game it appears all mirror shards cannot be used. To clarify, mirror shards can be gained but they can not be expended in order to access their icons in the vanity mirror. I have talked to several people and tested myself to confirm that this is not isolated.

Methods attempted to bypass the issue that have not worked include:
-Right click use
-Use-Item verb
-click use from utility belt.

...Except for when it isn't.

I'm not going to pretend i'm a veteran of this game, but i've taken to playing a destiny engineer/spellthief, primarily showing up to events and using primarily a mix of support with robots and Final Flare memes. (Brick!)

While this is an absolute riot to play, it's made to light a large amount of quality of life issues with Spellthief. I can't speak for the class's current 'issues' at it's max potential, but I can speak for the hell it is to actually get things fighting fit.

Final Flare and Hot Potato are incredibly janky. Certain spells absolutely don't work with them, such as Air Pressure. While others, such as Titan Gale, awkwardly target and fling around. This is fine, it's hard to make this move work with everything.

My issue arises from how it absolutely REQUIRES you to use spirits to get the most 'bang' for your buck. Causing a constant slog of regaining my spirits anytime I get my ass kicked.

Alongside this, non-destiny spellthieves are required to level up OTHER CLASSES and 5/5 their skills to get the most out of them. Again, a constant slog. Not fun.

These are the two main issues I have with Spellthief, but the general quality of life of the class leaves much to be desired.

Mirror Shard - Rainbow Cloak
I recently bought a mirror shard from the bank. "Mirror Shard- Rainbow Cloak" and I am unable to activate it. I've checked the vanity mirror multipule times and the Rainbow Cloak is not in the options. I have tried vlearing the client and updating byond it'self and it has yet to be fixed.
