A small job advertisement has been tacked onto the job-section of the billboard in Cellsvich. Nothing grand, or particularly colourful, the font upon the paper mundane and easy to read for the simplest soul. Along this note, a tiny portrait has been added next to it as well, to showcase the employer.

Long story short, percentage based health gain is absolutely bat shit, especially when it requires no casting tool. Yes, it has a cooldown, however it still should be looked into.

If you're adjacent to the priest who used this, you just gained back 36% of your health (If they're elf, add +SAN to that) with zero stat scaling involved whatsoever.

If this skill has to exist, can it at least bother to use some stat scaling with it? FAI/2 or something. If you get yourself 1000 hp, you can gain back 240 health without much of an issue, while a good FAI based LB can't even heal for that much on someone with high HP because it requires stat scaling in every other move in the game.

That, or make it a spell that can't be stolen because ho-boy is it a spell that really shouldn't be stolen.

Can Piercing blade make swords do pierce damage? Having access to this would make RPing Rapiers a lot easier to justify, I know there's Special Attack for swords but that won't apply to all of the hits.

I'd like to suggest something like a glancing blow, A hit that didn't fully connect.

Something like {cel/2] + [Def/3] = Glancing chance.
And [cel/3] + [def/2] = Glancing damage

Pure tanks and pure dodges would barely benefit from these new changes if approved, So that's one downside i can already see, But it's worth suggesting. Might make a good alternative middle ground if you don't want to go too deep into either though.

So dodge builds can trigger glancing more, Because they are light on their feet.
Tank builds will take less damage when they are glanced, Because of their better armor.

My thoughts for this primarily is to make mobs a bit harder.
Right now, I feel like they're a bit too weak at level 60.
Might make pvp interesting too.

Are basic weapon attacks ((all things that go through hit/crit check and skills that use it such as sidecut)) supposed to be doing...

( Sum of Scaling ) x1.5 + Weapon Power*2

Because right now the SWA on the weapon's stat screen can show say... 66. But if you do a basic attack, it does 72 (or 73).

On lower power weapons, this isn't so much of an issue, however with higher power weapons that are used for basic attacks (think 30 power here) it gets a bit extreme.

Hidden cut is doing a fair share more damage than it actually is supposed to be doing.

These tests were run all at 42 SKI / 40 STR with a Wo dao (Picture A), and a Hakouhen (Picture B), and rank 5 hidden cut (but rank 1 sheathe sword).

No two handed, Katana Master, or other gear was applied. However, rank 5 in reliability was in the talent.

The target was DEBUG Prinny.

105 damage with both Hakouhen and the wo-dao (despite their SWA clearly not matching up with it)

I'm pretty sure that instead of 30 + 75% of SWA, it's just doing a flat out 30 + 75 damage on sheathe sword.

So, I thought on how Reaver is sword master from DMC3 and 4 and figured "What if it got an attack that did a long string of badass comboing before flinging the target like in game.

EDIT: In hindsight this was a dumb suggestion. I guess from my lack of damage in my DH experience I was frustrated and concluded reaver just sucked. Which isn't like me to judge quickly. Probably was the hype.

Can Umbral icons be given some percentage of transparency when it's night time? It would help players notice the change more clearly, and, in my opinion, be an easy way to add flavor to the race.
