  Asagorian Lottery: The Second Coming

It's about that time of year again, where snow is about, and the lovely scent of turkey and pumpkin spice is in the air!

So, to commemorate the time of year, I'll be holding an Asagorian lottery. Tickets to enter will cost 500 murai each with a cap of 10. The lottery will be drawn on the new year! Give or take a few hours due to my own personal agenda.

This year, the prizes will be a bit better! This year, it'll be...

1st : 1500 Asagorians
2nd: 750 Asagorians
3rd: 375 Asagorians
4th: 375 Asagorians
5th: 10,000 Murai

Current Ticket Count: 105

This lottery, however, is going to require 150 tickets before it's drawn! So if it doesn't hit 150 before new years, it'll take until AFTER new years! So buy up!

If we break our goal, I'll add another prize slot.

Booksmack needs a nerf. Now, I know what you're saying "but salt!"

Nah. We were testing some stuff, and the fact that Booksmack is in play is ridiculous. It's basically Knockdown, but completely shreds your momentum without impunity. "Well it costs 4 momentum!" If you go before your opponent, and have a decent enough hit with one, you can and will land hits of it. Any skill/effect that reduces your momentum is much stronger than it 'seems'. It makes you lose 2 M, does damage, can crit ((which can negate the downsides of 4 M)). AND...

It can be paired up with Knockdown. What does that mean? Every other round, you can make someone lose 5M, or every down someone you fight will lose 5M if they don't have on guard. Which means they can do NOTHING except for small things like sharpen, maybe bash (if they're a lucky duck and are DH which is still a ridiculously good class).

So, a suggestion I guess?

Having Booksmack just apply "Knockdown" would be the simplest thing, meaning it can't stack with itself, but that also comes with its own issues of "man now everyone with a mainhand tome can just KD"

So maybe just having it so that if a person is knocked down, they don't lose any momentum from being 'book smacked'. or have Booksmack start triggering "On Guard" and giving momentum for it so that someone with a tome can't just run up to someone, book smack them, then force them to fight in "you lose 2M and get to attack me, or you run away and I chase, then smack you again." It's kind of ridiculous.

If you close out of a crafting menu whilst crafting something, you'll be unable to move, and no one in your party will be able to move, getting the 'x is doing something' message.

The only fix right now as far as I know is to relog.

  Youkai names and install status

Currently you can rename your Youkai to whatever you wish, which is great, its awesome, but this can lead to some abuse where you name a Chun as Haku to reel people into using fire on you, simply I will only suggest it lists the Youkai's original name in the description when you hover over a status effect.

  Hiding battle overlays

If you use the summon/unsummon-pet verb it will hide all in-battle overlays, including installs, and golden glow, you can see why this might be a problem.

Can we get a toggle for it's New-Round effect? While it's useful, sometimes you REALLY don't want it to activate. See; Papilion butterflies in your face.

Or Hexer Curses always.

Maybe have it as a toggle skill that can only be used once every 2 rounds or something, or if you turn it off you have to wait a bit before you can turn it on as a charge up. I remember there was a "can we plz kill bonus damage" stuff because it screws up your Momentum if you hit a resist because your weapon decided to use it's elemental damage for once.

  Cobras and Sear/Cinder tiles

Snake dancer attempts to dodge cinder and sear tiles, and I assume the other tiles as well, considering wide AoE cinder/sear tiles like Sear and Fire breath, it makes no sense from a viewer's standpoint, I propose that cinder/sear tiles ignore snake dancer completely.

So. Shinken seems to have.. a lot of disparities with it.

A person that deals 74 BASE damage with Shinken ( 50 STR, +18 Katana, +6 Rank) on a target with 33 (Base) Defense is dealing 69 Defense. We figured that she's also getting KATANA MASTERY for Shinken, so it's 84.. but that still doesn't explain anything. The attack should deal 51 damage, not 69.

On a different target, with 10 defense, she did 92 damage. Ignoring his defense entirely and.. somehow getting a large power boost??? Well. It doesn't end there, oddly enough.

56 Def, 20 Terrasque Shell armor. 63 STR+18 Katana+ R1 Shinken+ Katana Mastery. 93 damage. I dealt 23 damage, without Kensei ((but the same strength)) I dealt 14. Which.. doesn't actually add up either, but whatever.

Damage seems to be very inconsistent all around and is probably worth a look into. Fern has some other issues they had involving it shrekking on 20% Resist, 60+ Def, and Evasion.. but idk.

Longdraw + Gust Arrows with a 3 range bow.. does not give the intended range.

In fact, it only gives 2 extra range. That probably isn't how it should happen.
