Guidelines for Lore Questions
1) You are limited to one question per topic. You may ask follow-up questions related to your initial question provided they are mainly 'yes' or 'no' questions.  For instances where you are clarifying lore details, or for minor questions, it is recommended to ask in the #lore-questions Discord channel instead of in this thread.
2) Questions should avoid being overly specific when the topic is unknowns. (IE: Was anyone on Sigrogana ever killed with a spoon? Has there ever been a scandal involving a noble family on Kysei?) For this reason, it's best to ask questions pertaining to subjects that already have some establishment in the lore.
3) Avoid asking questions on the basis that you are trying to invalidate someone's RP or otherwise harrass them, etc. If you have concerns that someone may not be RPing properly, or has an outlandish concept, please take them to a GM in private.
4) Refrain from asking questions that have always been answered. Use the forum search function, view the lore compendium, or the wiki pages for the specific races (both on wikia and this site's wiki) to double check.
5) If you notice any contradictions in answers, you are welcome to point them out. Note that established lore may be rewritten as time passes based on necessity or desire.

Expectation For Answers
Questions may be answered at any time, but the general expectation is that all questions will be answered during the first week of the following month. Answers will be added to the lore compendium, which will be updated after the topic is closed.

As of late, a strange conregration of people known only as "Inner Light" has been drifting through the Great Six, offering passersby a card, containing a survey asking for any unusual activity in dreams - good, bad, ugly; none of it seems to matter to the yellow-uniformed representatives handing out the survey.

On the back of these cards is the survey to fill out - and once it has been filled out, the cards inexplicibly poof! from the taker's hand.
As of now, nobody is certain what all of this is for, means, or who is even running this project. All that can be gleamed is that a group of people is looking for your strange dreams for some unknown purpose.

Meowdy! Yes, that has been me the past two days in LFG. This is an eventline I am (hopefully) going to be running for awhile, revolving around exploring dreams with a group known as Inner Light, without spoiling things too much. These will be a mix of both pure RP events and combat events. This thread will be updated the more information comes to light.
I appreciate everyone who's been filling out the survey - it is actually crucial to the eventline, and I really appreciate the imagination that everyone has put into their answers! I will be welcoming more answers to the survey the entire time the eventline is up, as the more you submit, the more events I can plan.
   
I hope this an be a smaller-scale eventchain that everyone can enjoy!

  v2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Skills that summon a mob do not give them proper stats

If a custom mob uses a skill that summons a mob into the battlefield, it will not gain its proper stats or level. Example of using Summon Unkindness below:

  v.2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Setting a mob to not Scale their stats will bug them

Make a custom mob and set their Stats to NOT scale, and then test it. The issue is that their stats end up bugging out and looking something like this no matter how much you increase them in the editor with mods:

Additionally, if you load the mob yourself, your stats will still scale.

  v2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Cannot click things that are under the Tools

If a character is under one of your Event Tools trays, you cannot click them, and sometimes it isn't feasible to move to do it specially because of how the camera works. My proposed solution is that we get a toggle for hiding the Event Tools trays specifically, likely put in the GM panel and called "hide-tools-hud". This is because deleting your HUDS as a whole with the delete key still makes it so if you click that spot, the game thinks you're clicking one of the tools rather than the character.
  
How to test: move towards the bottom left of your screen while you have one of the trays open, and try to click yourself while under the trays to no avail.

  v2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Enemy Encounters do not use the Custom Battlefield

PVE encounters don't use the custom battlefields in houses, instead giving you the usual grassfield that may or may not occasionally get a big bush. My proposed solution for future proofing is to give a toggle to the Encounter Tool that makes it so you can decide if it accounts for a custom battlefield or not.

  v.2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Target Tool doesn't work on ice tiles

The target tool can't mark tiles that have ice sheets on them, so you cannot do things such as spawn animations mid-fight. Potentially related: https://neus-projects.net/forums/showthr...p?tid=8460
  
EDIT: Also applies to Cinder Tiles unless you try to meticulously click in-between their icon's holes.

  v.2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Fallen Angel doesn't work when used by a mob you control

When you use the skill Fallen Angel from a mob you control, it will make the light circle but do nothing else. It won't do any damage, and your momentum will decrease anyway. What's more interesting is that not only the light circle stays there, but you can stack it infinitely and it will show up when you do another fight.

  v2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Icon State Selector Can Break Your Tool HUD

If you open the Icon State Selector and choose something that has a big icon and a few icon states, your tools HUD will "break" in the sense that you can't click it or get out of the Icon State Selector anymore. Examples below:
 
Pretend you want to change the icon state of this white orb flash effect.

After clicking it with the Icon State Selector:

It shows big previews which make it difficult for you to click other parts of the screen.
  
The Icon State Selector is buggy with previews in general, I.E if the icon is somewhat big the states will stack atop each other in the preview so they're very hard to click even with smaller things, example below.

My proposed solution is that we instead have the option to choose the icon states by name rather than by preview. this would help circumvent a lot of issues on that front. Example from another BYOND game I was admin for is that you have the option to right click and "edit icon state" then you would choose from the list of states it'd have.

  v2.51 [EVENT TOOLS] Spawning Walking Monster makes people stuck or corrupt save files

Spawning a monster that walks across the area (with any movement pattern) will often have that monster run up to the person it targets and abruptly disappear, causing no encounter. This tends to make the character it ran into stuck until relog.
  
It's worth noting that when a character relogs a few times after getting stuck that way, they have a decent chance of their save file becoming "corrupted" (as in they become a little soul.) My guess is that it has to do with the constant relogging after getting stuck.
