Yui Yamamoto - Animated Staff |

Applicable BYOND Key - Sennaloves
Character Name - Yui Yamamoto
Request Type - Unique Weapon (Cast tool)
Request Details - Yui is using what's called a possessed animated weapon (Similar to the animated sword monster mobs). A weapon built with features and so on for a spirit (Haunted soul) to take control of. The weapon is mainly used as a casting tool for the young lad's Hexer magic, helps him combat other spirits or empowers his hex magic ICly. While the weapon itself can be considered 'alive' due to the following above, it can't perform any major activities (Such as hurting people on its own) as well as it can't 'survive' too far away from Yui.
- Mini Player Made Event: Due to what was shown in Roleplay & Lore, I do plan on having mini-events to match. Indeed, due to their weak spiritual resistance, I'll allow the Staff to also be able to possess them if they're not careful (Via using Death Knighting).
- Of course, this will be running with people who wish to take part in it and not force whoever isn't.
Reason why you are making this request (if applicable) - While I was originally working off the logic of the enchantment (Haunted Soul) and the animated weapon monster mobs, I do wish to make sure I'm not breaking any rules with it. I’ve already been RPing this casting tool but not to many. While I thought it wouldn’t be too serious since it isn’t doing anything beyond what the game allows, I should have run this idea by the GM prior just to make sure nothing is wrong with it.
Roleplay & Lore supporting your request -
- Lore: I'm more working off the Ritual scrolls, animated sword mobs, and the enchantment Haunted souls.
- Roleplay: The character is supposed to be an exorcist (Duo with him and his sister), but due to his weak spiritual endurance as well as presence, he was given the possessed staff. The staff was made to combat spirits as well as aid him with magic (Cast tools). While it does aid him in the cause, it looks for the time to strike and possess his body, and it's strong magical capability. To make use of the strength the lad refuses to utilize.
- Further details into the reason for the staff. They belong to a family of Shrine maidens and exorcists. To maintain this family tradition, his father spends years of his life studying hex magic and creating this animated Staff with the aid of his comrades in Karaten. While his father assumes the Staff will mainly help the lad with the family's career, he's unaware of the repercussions of doing so.

Small Gigantys change |

I've noticed a trend with recent 10 stars that seem to be meant for basic attacking, or at least they have on hit/on crit effects or the like. They typically have at minimum 90 base accuracy and 5-10 base crit. Things such as Buzzing Chakram, Deadclaw (85 accuracy, but 10 crit), Mirror Spear... even Eternal Solitude has 90 accuracy and 5 base crit. Going back even further you have weapons like Tarnada and Anchor Edge with very optimized stats for basics in 95 base accuracy and 10 base crit.
So, my suggestion is making Gigantys base 90-95 accuracy, and perhaps even 5-10 base crit. The weapon already suffers hit penalties in exchange for its power potential, so I think letting it start at higher base accuracy is more than fair.

[2.34c] Issues with crafting recipes |

This is pretty much just a walk of shame for me, honestly, considering that I thought I tested some of this thoroughly and it turns out I haven't done as well as I hoped.
At any rate, this is likely from a while back, but a decent chunk of recipes aren't functioning the way they're supposed to. Some exist as duplicates of other recipes, while others simply don't exist at all. This may not be a complete list, as I don't know every single recipe by heart, but I will attempt to cover it as thoroughly as I can.
1. Base recipes:
The base recipes (in other words, the ones that exist without any additional recipe cards or recipe books used) are mostly accurate, though there are a few issues with it from what I can see:
- Enchantment: Tannin - Requires a Heart of Leviathan instead of a Heart of Tannin.
- Pumpkin Pie - There are two versions of this recipe - one that's the intended one, and another that is made with two wraps of poultry and a phial of salt. I can't recall off the top of my head what that recipe is supposed to be at the moment, however.
From what I can see, this is the full extent of the issues for the base recipes, though it's entirely possible that I missed something.
2. Recipe cards:
This is the main one, and the reason I started writing this thread. For whatever reason, recipe cards are all over the place at the moment, with some giving no recipe at all and others giving recipes other than the one they should be giving instead.
Here is a full list of the faulty cards, tested via the testing server:
- Recipe Card: Piercing Blade -> Balanced Blade
- Recipe Card: Balanced Blade -> Piercing Blade
- Recipe Card: Sturdy Guard -> nothing*
- Recipe Card: Helix Pole -> nothing
- Recipe Card: Curved Pole -> Helix Pole*
- Recipe Card: Elongated Knuckles -> Dense Knuckles**
- Recipe Card: Thin Body -> Standard Body**
- Recipe Card: Wide Barrel -> nothing
- Recipe Card: Sniper Barrel -> Wide Barrel*
*After thorough testing, the recipes that are intended to be given by these cards appear to be unobtainable as a result of the way the cards are at the moment.
**These recipes are duplicates of existing recipes, only with different requirements to craft. As a result, the intended item becomes impossible to craft.
An important thing to note is that in addition to the recipe card used being different, the rank required to make them is also different. For example, the Wide Barrel now apparently requires rank 6 tool making, which is almost certainly incorrect.
3. Recipe books
I've also gone over all of the recipes obtained via books, just in case (though admittedly I've been a bit more lax with this in particular, so if something slipped through, I apologize). This doesn't seem to have too many issues, but a couple have been found through this.
- Mage's Manifest on Gis: The Embroidered Elementalist's Gi is simply written as "Elementalist's Gi", so it just looks like a duplicate as a result.
- Subtext on Staves: The Staff of Miracle recipe doesn't exist, in it's place is a duplicate of the Staff of Forging with different requirements.
4. Ordering and formatting:
This one will be a shorter one, and significantly less important, but I feel it's worth pointing out. For whatever reason, certain items tend to be placed in really strange positions. Things like Wrist Strings (a level 4 tailoring wrist recipe) being placed just before the Standard Wrist (a level 1 tailoring wrist recipe), when the rest are sorted by crafting rank. These aren't a huge issue, aside from getting a bit frustrating to search through, so it's probably fine if it stays as is, too.
Apologies for the longer post, but I wanted to try to put as many of the issues into one so it would be easier to sort out.

Kitari, Arashi - R.V.D, Reactive Void Device. |

Applicable BYOND Key - Drezdongle
Character Name - Kitari, Arashi/Leonidas Rom Philopator
Request Type - General Invention for public use.
Request Details - Considering current lore and a general lack of understanding as to how Void is detected I wish to have my character with use of resources at hand as a Minor Noble. Develop a device that measures the presence of Void. Specifically two versions of the same device.
Details are as follows, they are two devices made up of conduiz, and other alloys that facilitate casting. Powered by a focus tuning crystal that acts like a battery, it puts out small pulses of focus that increase when Void Pollution is present. The more void pollution, the more focus is drained from the focus tuning crystal at a rapid rate. A ticking sound will ramp up with a meter measuring Void Pollution in Voightgins.
1. The standard Handheld Device is the R.V.D-HD. Meant for measuring surface level pollution and Sentient Creatures exposed to void. It can be attached to the belt, and or held in the hand. Its focus crystals can last up to an hour in a non-void polluted zone. And up to fifteen minutes in a heavily compromised one. Typically has a range of 10 meters.
2. The Heavier Version meant to be attached to ships or Wagons is called the R.V.D-MD. Typically mounted to the bow of shipping vessels. The expensive crystals and focus sources that power the device can last up to a month per charge in unpolluted zones. Meant to detect residual pollution as a means to redirect ships from Dark Zones on the high seas, it can detect Void Pollution from three kilometers away.
Devices can be prone to tampering by talented mages, and can have varying effects on rune-casting.
Reason why you are making this request (if applicable) - I want to develop a device that people can use in their fluff, or apply when in void related situations. Scientists, Archeologists, etc. It would also mean that my character could have a patent and a regular source of income from the use of said device.
Roleplay & Lore supporting your request - Arashi as a minor noble runs a trading company that uses the profits from leasing out their shipping lanes, and customs works in Port Alpha to run Archaeological sites and operations in Gold. With the risk of some of these ancient ruins and locales having been exposed to Void Pollution after the curse, or having turned into Dark Zones over the last few decades.
Arashi and his associates set upon developing a device that could detect Void Pollution, allowing their research and Preservation of Onigan Culture to go forward unhindered. The development would also make sense for their since it allows his shipping vessels to travel between Gold and the other continents at a significantly lower risk of accidentally running into a Dark Zone on the high seas, and allows them to sell the device to others who could use it for a profit.
Lorewise considering devices like the Railgan shooting bots being able to exert that much focus, and that Void eats focus. The logic for such a device to exist is there within what lore is available.

Kaen Philiopator - Necromancy Adventures |

Applicable BYOND Key - Golden Kira
Character Name - Kaen
Request Type - Character Ability
Request Details - Hello hello, I'm here looking to get my character approved to begin his study and adventure, into that of Necromancy. To start into the lore dive and get a foothold into the depths that surround it.
Reason why you are making this request (if applicable) - My character that I'm requesting this ability for, has in character reasons to seek out this power. As well as the background history, and his homeland to give him starting lead into the art.
Roleplay & Lore supporting your request - Kaen is a man that has been surrounded by two truths in his life. One is that the world is what you make of it. If you have the means to do something, then the world will support you. The second truth came after he was adopted by his father. Power is the key to all your problems. These concepts have shaped the character into a seeker of knowledge and collector of ability that revolves around his skill set.
That said, when he was a child, he lost important people to him by unnatural causes. Which led to his adoption into the Philiopator family. Through their money, he was given a good education in both the family trade, basic studies, and as well in the arcane. Which led him to the trail of Necromancy, as he took more and more interest with the Loyrwell Tomb's situation. From there, I'd like to start off his steps into these dark arts. I've gained the Necromancer's Staff Icly on my character, and I also have been looking into it's properties as a major tool for the skill.
The character's drive to begin learning this art, is to never lose someone ever again. Even if it's a tad morbid..

Reiji Yamamoto - creation of a specific casting tool |

Applicable BYOND Key - Jin The Green
Character Name - Reiji Yamamoto
Request Type - Character Ability (Creation of a specific kind of casting tool)
Request Details - Reiji is an Evoker, Boxer who has a gloves that function as a tome, allowing him to 'punch his spells'.
Reason why you are making this request (if applicable) - Mostly just to cover my ass. Magic punches aren't too far fetched to me, but they might be to some.
Roleplay & Lore supporting your request - The gloves would have been made custom in Karaten, for this particular style. I imagine there would be a niche market for similar mages, largely fire mages, who like to get up close and personal with their foes.

Description of bug: Certain lighting fixtures in furniture will not turn back on after being left clicked. Even when the only person in the home is the house owner, or someone with build permissions.
So far the confirmed pieces of furniture are as follows: Tall Lamp, Table Lamp, Mounted Wall Lamp.
How to replicate:
1. Put Light Fixture in house.
2. Turn them on and off a few times.
3. After server reboots, or at random they will no longer produce light sources. Or be capable of being turned on.
