  Freedom Gale
Posted by: GSM - 07-05-2017, 12:06 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (1)

Tactician's new Wind spell, Titan Gale, can be maxed out in rank without a single SP actually spent. I wasn't actually the one to discover this- someone else did. I think it's far too powerful of a skill for this to go unnoticed.

  Narcus Suggestion
Posted by: Autumn - 07-05-2017, 06:30 AM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (12)

Narcus is a little too efficient at turning people's damage around into the narcus user's own form of damage, with very little counterplay involved, fire resistance or not, telling someone to pack fire resistance against one item isn't gonna cut it.

Idea, Narcus' current form of stacking can stay, though when the Narcus effect is used, it is set to be in cooldown for a set period, the jist of it:

-Narcus is changed so that after striking with the Narcus status, you cannot gain any more narcus levels for 3 rounds.

Thoughts?

  [Discussion] Holy Schmoly
Posted by: Autumn - 07-04-2017, 02:38 AM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (8)

Holy seems to be the most common enchant right now for just about any weapon, its super safe to throw onto any weapon because it really has no downside and a huge up-side against the right target, 75% more damage with the talent, while I love the concept of it being able to punish the stronger races like Vampires and possessed, I don't really think it should be a throw on and forget sort of enchant.

Holy is a bit of a problem as an enchant, it offers little wiggle room when deciding on your enchant.

Do I use holy or rampaging? Holy.

Do I use holy or volcanic seed? Holy.

Do I use holy or vorpal? Probably holy.

So it takes away from the enchant diversity because its such a safe enchant to throw onto any weapon, because it deals ludicrous amounts of damage as a reward.

I'd like to discuss the possibility of what you can do to prevent the 'throw on and forget' mentality, as it takes away from the impact that is being discovered as a nasty vampire or spirit goer, and is instead just a nuisance you have to deal with when facing four out of five people.

Some ideas in the past like lowering the damage against non-holy susceptible targets were promptly met with criticism, so here's a discussion piece, lets go.

  Creeping Paranoia

I feel like shaitans should be immune to ill will as a wound, I don't know exactly what Ill Will implies but it seems like a paranoia type of thing and as we know, Shaitans aren't exactly scared of anything outside of the dark zone.

The bonus damage for ghostwind when used in the same round as haunting does not apply if you have used another move before hand, for example.

Haunting > Attack(crit) > Ghostwind will not proc Ghostwind's 1.25x bonus damage.

  Unchanging Home
Posted by: Mokou-tan - 07-02-2017, 11:08 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (4)

Every so often when I go into my home, the entrance resets to the bottom left. No big deal, I figured I would just move it back every time it happened. Turns out, it also unmade my plants that I was growing, so now I'm making a bug report. My key and slot if it helps you investigate any, but the way I reproduce it is I just go off and do something and then I come back home to find anything I was doing in it undone.

Key: Mokou-tan
Slot: 3

Game you were banned from: sigrogana legends 2
In-game name (key):Archibald
Reason you were banned:i believe it would be for inactivity
The length of the ban, if you know:until Thu Nov 23 14:44:09 1995.
Who banned you, if you know:i do not know
Why we should unban you:I was on my new character and was looking for a photo to complete my profile after a while of searching I saw that I ''lost connection '' when I logged back on I was banned... I'm pretty sure it was because of inactivity but id like some sort of eplanation here..in the name register I looked at the rules many times so it cant be the name and my profile was a normal description of the character I made.

Grievous Wounds [Wound chance in SRS buff]
Posted by: Snake - 07-01-2017, 09:06 PM - Forum: Balance Fu - Replies (2)

Can the roll for wounds, in Serious Fights, be (Normal Chance)% + [(Party Level/2)% - (30% Scaled DEF + 20% Scaled RES)%] ?

So, for example, someone with 50 DEF and 50 RES, at a LV60 fight, would have:

Quote:(Normal Chance [Variable = 5.5%]) + (30) - (15 + 10)% chance to get wounded from an attack. (An additional of +5% to the normal chance. So 10.5% chance total.) [[Side note = This is assuming they'll take damage high enough to trigger wounds, the variable is not accurate to the damage they take (aka, should be around 0.5-2% chance). So tanks will still be able to take more hits before rolling a 'bad luck wound'.]]

And someone with 10 DEF and 10 RES, at LV60 fight, would have:
Quote:(Normal Chance [Variable = 5.5%]) + (30) - (3 + 2)% chance to get wounded from an attack. (Additional of +25% to the normal chance. So 30.5% chance total.)

How about it? Wounds from excessive damage are way too rare in serious situations, due to how resistances work on reducing damage. Be it with Evasion, Wraithguard, Guard or tanky stats, and in my opinion there should be more of a 'luck' factor to it.

  Fleur Weakness
Posted by: Shujin - 07-01-2017, 07:17 PM - Forum: Bug Reports - Replies (4)

Currently if you hit someone as duellist with Fleur, with a critical but at the same time trigger an Elemental weakness you only gain 1 Bomus Momentum. This can be quite annoying when you are a fire build and try to farm black beasts cause you never get to use fleur.

I think Fleur/Critical should have priority over weakness.Given that Critical is chance based thing and elemental weakness pretty much triggers always when it triggers.

  Happy 150th Birthday, Canada

Well that is the line in the commercials. I think it needs a few asterisks but I think I will just talk about each province becoming a part of Canada.

In 1867 Canada looked like this:

Pre-1867 Canada
But before that we had Upper and Lower Canada. Technically speaking the name comes from 1535, from the Huron-Iroquois word for Village usually romanticized as "Kanata". A pair of natives lead Jacques Carter to their village. Who rendered Canada as the name of all of chief Donnacona's holdings. From their the name was applied to everything north of the Saint Lawrence river "rivière du Canada". After that it shrunk to just the area around the river and the gulf of Saint Lawrence.
The next use was quite awhile later in 1791 the province of Quebec was split into Upper and Lower Canada what makes this even more confusing is upper Canada is called Ontario in the 1867 picture. I could go into Upper and Lower Canada and why it happened but this post is going to be long enough. In 1840 Upper and Lower Canada were united into a single psedu-nation under British Rule this was mostly because Lower Canada because the French had a majority in Lower Canada and a minority in combined Canada to vastly oversimplify it.

The thing we are calling year 0
The British North America Act of 1867 established the Dominion of Canada by combining their colonies of New Burnswick, Nova Scotia and Canada. It split Canada into Quebec and Ontario and gave them equal footing in government to the Island provinces. Perhaps the first time in a long history of Quebec being overly politically represented. This consolidation of Government was at least in part to keep the United States from Annexing New Burnswick and Nova Scotia.

Manitoba, Act 1870
July 15th 1870 the province of Manitoba was created. I could get into a lot of the messed up things surrounding the actual history of Manitoba before it expanded. But here are the cliff notes it got much bigger, it was originally supposed to have combined French and English rights and education. The Métis(Children of natives and french explorers they were big enough to be their own political group) were promised land and rights they were kept waiting with their writs for land and white Settlers came in with a military and drove them and their leader Louis Riel out. They went to Saskatchewan he went to the US.

British Columbia terms of Union 1871
Okay so the Gold mines had dried up and BC was in a lot of debt and had a kind of awful irresponsible government so in exchange for Canada absorbing its debt, giving them a wagon trail across the prairies and some actual representation government BC joined the Union.
John A. Macdonald changed it to a railway. Again I could say a lot more but that is probably enough.

Prince Edward Island Terms of Union 1873
July 1st 1873 mostly as a move to keep the U.S. From taking over Canada offered to pay their railway debts and buy out their absentee Land lords.

Saskatchewan Act and Alberta Act September 1st 1905
Hey remember when I said the Métis fled here good times its been 35 years since then. Anyway the North West Territories Population was getting to high in some areas for it just have one not all that put together or powerful one. So slowly parts of the Southern bit had started to gain a bit more power become psedu-provincial regions. They were originally just going to make one large province but some dividing lines were already in place so we got Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Newfoundland Act 1949
That's a bit of a gap there and you will notice the Colony was there on the 1867 map. Newfoundland eventually joined Canada so it would take over its public services, pay off its debt and also provide subsidies. And maybe because they felt a bit werid being a separate British Colony in North America

I could expand on any of these but there is a basic Run down of the Formation of the provinces of Canada. Happy Canada Day everyone.
