just make it so that they can cast using any remains spear/axe there are so many stronger racials, it's fine. the new casting ores and arcanic really powercrept these racials out of relevance

I feel like it would make most sense if the Slash portion was bonus damage that couldn't be avoided, then it being the only part to try and inflict Lingering Damage would be just fine.
